The most retarded diplomatic conflict took place between IT Alliance and Stain Empire. And I’m saying ‘diplomatic’ since you can hardly call it an invasion. Maybe the ‘Invasion that never happened’.

Stain Empire decided to reset standings with IT Alliance from positive to neutral for the sole purpose of gaining more targets. IT got mad and declared an invasion with target being Paragon Soul, a region that SE held about 5 station systems but never really used them since they traditionally based out of Stain, which is NPC 0.0. So SE did the smartest thing ever and transferred 3 out of 5 stations to Red.Overlord that is blue both to Stain and IT. And since ROL is probably the closest ally to AAA and AAA is one of the most important allies IT has, they did not think of resetting or attacking ROL, especially to gain just a few more outposts that they woudn’t even want at this point. And so this ‘invasion that never happened’ that would have been something to occupy IT’s members after the endless carebearing which they have been doing since Delve was recaptured, came to a close before it even started. But but there’s still MAX2 vOv

A side result of the ’invasion that never happened’ was for Sys-K and LR to show their true colours by siding immediately with IT instead of SE. Which was obviously to anyone since they both have received space from IT in Period Basis and are much closer to IT now than they are to Stain Empire. Coven has sided with SE though and just announced a reset of standings towards Systematic Chaos. While Systematic Chaos are big, they are very average in terms of pvp capabilities and experience, and COVEN/SE are the opposite. Small but very competent, with experienced sub-cap pilots, and a strong capital fleet. It will be interesting to see how it develops.
