The SC are worse, yes, but they are both pretty low on the food chain. Mittani prefers a slumlord analogy to the current state, whereas I think things are better characterized in a hierarchical food-chain analogy.
Groups to watch in the medium-term in the south besides Xenobytes moving up the food chain: Darkside., Genos, Exceed, and SoT.
I love the French, but TCF is the epitome of an afk alliance. Doesn't matter, we still need a few months for the directors to work stuff out so getting a nice region like Delkein would be horrible for the healing process. Also we would have to join the NC and fuck that.

How are they "moving up"? They were always there and always decent roam PVPers. I doubt that any of those corps\alliances listed are going to be interested in sov wars anytime soon.

NC has a definite heirarchy - the main powers, and then their pets. SOLODRAKBANSOLODRAKBANSO isn't one of the main powers, so it must be a pet.

Not really. All policy is set by MM and Razor, as are standings and who gets to live where. Alliances like MH, TCF, WI may be members of the NC, but their voices have little sway in NC policy. Having unfortunately being in MH at one point, I can guarantee you that 90% of them despise goons for retarded reasons such as having no e-honour, etc. and I find it quite funny that MH now has to grin and bear it and be best buddy neighbours with goons.

It is really hard to categorize SOLODRAKBANSOLODRAKBANSO since they aren't part of the actual NC command, and they're also not renting space from the NC. On paper they've got a lot of strength in terms of numbers and experience, but they're also dirt poor as an alliance.

I can't imagine a full on coalition vs coalition war is really doable with the current state of the servers. I don't see CCP fixing this problem in the next 6 months let alone two.

I was thinking about this earlier, then I realized that the NC has enough titans to be capable of moving an entire fleet of 1000 people all the way across their holdings much easier than you can. It's going to be fun to watch how they decide to attack and how the NC reacts. All I can hope for is that someone in the NC decides to time a station for US prime and we can beat up on IT US tz.

Actually one of the main problems with obtaining the space on our own was that our CEO didn't want to take the space. Apparently he wanted to get some organizational issues solved, and also make sure there was enough money in the warchest before we began. Then he went on a weekend vacation and came back to see someone had contacted his old NC buddies and we were suddenly attacking Cloud Ring.
Even if the NC was taken apart I really doubt there are enough people in the game to fill it up and defend it unless one of the major entities packs up and goes North permanently. That would just result in a power vacuum just like Delve II and the remaining NC people would just go there, even if it was a shit region like SP or WC. Tech won't always be insanely profitable because BoB is back in Delve and the BoB devs need their moon goo to be worth something.
