I´m fed up with us failing at any cost, ME is failcscading atm. This process started a few month back and has now reached its highs. Yeah except Wi lost 1k members plus a region and ME lost allmost all the hi ends in <1 week and with all the drama coming out from internal forms. So except for R.A,G,E the other 2 you mention are pretty much imploding as we speak.
The only thing that the alliance relocation of WI and ME have so far contributed to in PB is extra numbers and a big chunk of those pilots are found in AF's and t1 BC's. There must be some master plan behind all this but so far i fail to see it.

To be fair, always ask yourself, what would you in NC position.
This is actually first time that NC faces same or bigger numbers against them and that with their enemies having usually 2x participation rates.
So you have 2 fronts going on, you can try to defend both and fail in both or you need to pull back to increase supply lines and burn out of enemies. Now alliances are tossed under the bus, but again someone from the Tri block or Atlas block should come with a strategy, how to save the territory, save the alliances living in it and defeat them. If they cant, than they have to agree that what NC is doing is the only option they have left.
Other problem for NC is that all the attackers have safe territory to make isk, and 4x number of renters that pay them each month.

Look at this map - you have 15k of people on NC side, and 15k of people on TRI,ATLAS, DRONE Russians side.
tl:dr - this is total war and i wouldnt blame the entity under attack, that they shrink or suck, when i compare the numbers of pilots both sides can bring. The hope for NC is the same as in MAX, slow down advances and bore enemy out. And absolutely not fight for ...good fights... as they only serve the attacking side to boost morale. Its not a big chance and this time actually their closer to loosing than anytime before.

True, but while they may be holding off the PB front Vale is practically running into ATLAS & Co.'s hands. Sooner or later there is going to have to be a shift of people from PB to what will end up being the Tribute front, in something like IMK, and at that point it's possible the PB side will loosen up a bit and we'll see some forward progress there. The fronts need to keep collapsing until they're reachable by once center point for the entire north to live out of, and that wont happen until most of PB is done.
We'll see if WI deploying in force can break anything loose, but I doubt it.
NC had much less NC entities when MAX reached tribute, MM was pulling 250-300 numbers out of their arse, razor easily 150+, then it was TCF pulling awesome 200 man french warriors and PL, nothing more nothing less. (despite at some point KIA appearing on the scene too) There was no one else behind MM and Razor from NC. maybe CO2 i'm not sure now, but i mean that made a difference.
Now tell me MM participation from the beginning of the TRI block assault?

PB is already facing NC with too many things to defend at once, lots of gangs running around rfing stuff/defending stuff so that they are working hard to keep it static.
Once they get concentrated, they'll have 3x as many things to try and firefight, which means defeat in detail.

KIA+ZAF in fact supported TCF mostly in Vale against Tri during later MAX, as well as throwing caps into the nodecrashing battles of M-O and E-O. I could understand the strategy if they were making significant progress in PB but that doesn't seem to be happening. If the north doesn't slow Atlas down their core regions are going to be under siege while they are still bogged down with Tri. This would cause some more of the tough decisions to be made and reduce their overall effectiveness even more.I can't forget to mention the morale issues of losing a significant chunk of space so quickly.
BOB was able to pull back to delve because they had a core group who was willing to defend 24x7 + sov4 + AOE titans and cyno jammers to even the odds. It remains to be seen if that strategy could work for the NC with today's sov and titan mechanics.

We had like 7 titans on but some were busy with cap fleet and support bridging/out of cap from previous ganks; we had 120 man cap fleet seiging pos's when we got the mom tackled but dreads were in siege, so we jumped carriers/moms and titans and he went down in about 90 seconds.
Reasonably well fit too. He could have spent more money, not that it would have mattered in this situation.

So the question remains, to the real and armchair generals in this forum: What strategy would you choose to counter Trico/Atlasco/Droneco in current NC situation?
As sofar noone come with one outside of the they dissapoint, they should gf, roll over and die, etc with a possible scenario. Which makes the NC shrink theory and concentrating on one region and tribute defence rather the only option they have left.
Btw. I am with the anti-NC side atm, however personaly i like very close games and battles, where there is something on stake and not the steamroll be it on the giving or given side (was on both). And i dont find satisfaction in the tossing of dying/loosing entities, especially if they realistically had no chances of winning, or are in bad shape, its like jerking off about manchester united beating a amateur team from small team. Both has no ballz imho.

I would have had the meatshields actually act like meatshields, sending them some help so that they fought a delaying action. Having WI and ME roll over and die in 2 weeks doesn't help protect Tribute at all or materially affect hostiles' attention or morale.
Dominion's sov changes mean that defenders can seriously bog down an invasion if they contest systems. If you don't contest and win your 1 in 4 chances then failcascades are nearly instantaneous. No more grinding 50 dickstars per system.
NC are playing by old strategy of dickstars and occasional DD to sap morale of hostiles which is ineffective now. So they've sacrificed 2 regions and 2+ alliances for no real gain. Other problem is that with the geography of this invasion, hostiles can concentrate if they wish to, though this tends to just mean faster node deaths.
How about CO2 losing all their towers/moons, their station in RF (they dont want it anyway), them losing people to other alliance them crying about their allies not helping them, tri #1 fc raging on open coms about why his fleet died, evoke not helping when atlas is involved (are they gonna put aside diffs to kill nc?) atlas coming 30 jumps just to have their time wasted by tri, ROL rage logging on allies.
You cant read ANY board and get a picture of how things are going because its all propaganda.
But that's, again NC propaganda. Quite frankly, the consensus of who's winning this war is, at this point, down to who's propaganda they listen to.. Simple arithmetic will tell you that the NC should be able to respond to both fronts if they were an organized coalition with good communications and FCs. With 9 alliances of over 1k people and over 15k pilots not counting renters (minus all the alts, blah blah blah) they shouldn't all have to focus on Pure Blind.
The fact that this is their strategy pretty much spells Doom.

I enjoy my e-grudge and as i promised Halada once i wont rest untill i have 1ix station conquered its just to bad WI wont hold any space any more by that time (as it is now loony tunes space)

NC had opportunity to stem the damage being done to their "area" but didn't seem to want to fully invest themselves in a war. They didn't really seem to get involved until TRI-Bloc started to make major strides in their own campaign and they might pay dearly for their apathy. Waiting 2 months and sacrificing a region and an Alliance or two will reduce their overall political capital.
These are obviously my own personal observations.

Co2 is dying because their station is in its first reinforced timer! It's like they own a station with one gate or something and that had SBUs dropped on it after both sides were on ops for 6 straight hours.
Yes Tri wasted everyone's time, not the node dieing and rollingback and people deciding to not go for round 2. Also people with tons of titans will of course jump 30 gates and not bridge.

Both sides are spinning like crazy, i wouldn't believe anything said on the forums and just look at the facts ingame. And the facts are that geminate is dead, i see no way for NC to rescue Vale at the current state of things, the NC in prety much a stalemate with TriCo in pure blind.
The NC is currently just able to prevent TriCo from taking more space in Pure Blind but not making big advances in securing the area while Atlas/Solar are invading the second region without much resistance.
