Fountain Update:
Ok, so we knew that goons have put some TCU in 7BX since SOT corp left and station was gonna be neutral, all you needed was TCU and it was yours...
At about 08:00 we got suprise PING on IRC to go kill the TCU and get the system for ourselves...We quickly form a fleet sub 90pp mostly composed of BS when FC asks for ppl who can bring caps...we got about 20ish+ in our inital count and we were bridged to 7BX..
Our dreads/Carriers + BS fleet warp down to in-cap POS + kill the TCU...Support was on station camping it...After about 15 mins, Hostile cyno went up and lot of hostile caps jumped in...PINGS went up on IRC about CAP fight and fleet started to rise...
At the initial Hot drop our capital fleet was outnumbered 2:1 I think....but we had BS support as where they did not....
Our support fleet warped in to join us on the TCU and as the fleet was calling primaries on the enemy capitals. When I was on field there were maybe 30-40 enemy capitals on field...Our FC's did an excelent job on target calling and we were able to down every CYNO ship they had to block reinforcements...As our cap battle was on the way, hostiles brought in two TITANS and we knew stuff was going down hard...Our target calling was great and enemy caps were going down quite nicely, after we PINGED and all that...We were able to escalate it into more capitals from our side, a lot more, and we brought in 4 Titans on the field...Which kind of helped turn the tide..
Not sure how our side was doing since i was busy trying to stay alive....Goons can fill in on that
After about 30 mins or so of slugging it out we hold the Field...atm we are reinforcing POS/killing TCU...

So far it looks like pretty even fight k/d wise in capitals. But initally it was different because on the inital hot drop goons outnumbered us 2:1 on capitals since we had 20ish and they had close to 40 or so...Like scavok reported they were able to shoot us down much quicker due to capital differential but in the end with us bridging in more people and being able to kill their cynos in time they were not able to bring more people...We also had lot of BS on the field that made lot of difference as well

I was counting wrecks and looks like PL/GS lost around 33 dreads and 5 carriers, and IT (plus a few pets and AAA) lost around 44.
IT held the field but wrecks were being popped by the POS gunners.

Wanted to try to keep the TCU alive until after downtime, but with holidays the normal timezone bs doesn't apply. We had bob down to less than 5 capitals vs 15+ multiple times and it was pretty much a turkey shoot until they brought in their 4 titans. When we decided to disengage we still had 14 vs 4 dreads and a decent amount ready to jump in, but there were 25 carriers, 4 titans, and 30 some bs. Maybe 4 or 5 of the 14 dreads survived and bob made up a lot of their K

This is not strange at all. Oren the SoT alliance leader has refused to log on post patch and has left the alliance with no leaders. Thus the CEO's of the various Corps in SoT were left to deal with it and all but 2/3 agreed on anything.
KMV was forced into putting its TCU/Hub into that system but had no interest in it. VIP's refused to put Hubs up in its JB systems it supported and DVRN was interested leaving and reforming.
Trueth be told you have alot of good pilots and a few committed organizers who remain whose alliance leaders, that word does not fit them, have failed them. Time to move on....

Didn't someone do the math and figure you'd still need like 50 dreads to take down a Titan if it logged off, even with aggression?
It's great to get perspectives from both sides, but honestly that report was pretty awful. It reads like intentional propaganda rather than a battle report. Every side does that, so it's not a big deal. But the few IT posters here seem to be above the bullshit, so it'd be nice to cut back the bs on your reports. You might not be aware of it, like your honest appraisal inherently contain the rationalizations. If you're going to mention every encounter where you get kills, mention your losses. Even if it's "we killed 9 caps and lost X bs, so suck it".
