IZK didnt have that many active participants, but they had the brains. Cant remember much from Profx, but i know they had some decent people in it. Not sure on how this will affect defy as a whole. Im having a laugh over the HC channel blabbering atm.
Oh, and IZK's small jewgold tower is currently being shot by a Raven and a Ishtar, gosh. The great defy fleetactivity shows again!

The invasion of sys-k is fully on. Miss-directed intel to ATLAS got them thinking they were going to be attacked and had a fleet up, however the surprise butt sex was well intended for and delivered to sys-k. ZAF and GOONS made up the force.
Aside form 'lol jammer offline' their online ones were on pos with only ECM mods or 1 with just a few pulses. Some key systems only have 2-3 sov holding towers for their sov4, it's like J-LO all over but with a bigger impact on their cluster.
Most of the pos timers were stronted at max levels so they are actually good euro timers.
Well be interesting to see all that comes to their aid aside from the 'stain-wagon.' AAA and all their pets are right there, so you might see ROL/ATLAS/TRI/INITIATIVE/COW/GENTLEMENS CLUB all blob in to save a bloated alliance.

Karttoon rather blatantly said that we where going to hit from behind instead of going up north. I mean I usually laugh at Atlas for poor intel but I'm pretty sure they can read.

I guess after an few 800 man blobs for pos defense (it will depend if the russians want to let sysk to die, but if the rent hurf is remotely true, its a no-no, so), goons will stick with 20 bombers and hurf bluf.

It seems as if DEFI4NT are totally unable to maintain control of the space they have been given and that, at the present time, Ev0ke seems to be taking over the area. They own one of the region's three stations with the other two being owned by Mostly Harmless and DEFY. Pandemic Legion is helping Ev0ke, in case you couldn't tell. Things are so bad that even Maru Ka'ge, a terrible alliance I haven't previously bothered mentioning due to their terribleness have managed to take sovereignty in a Pure Blind system.
With the north distracted elsewhere it seems that this front will not be soon won by way of thousand man fleets. Mostly Harmless, DEFI4NT and Tau Ceti Federation seem pretty soundly outclassed so far and even Morsus Mihi has had to rely on numerical advantages to really win battles against Pandemic Legion. Incidentally I still have no respect for quitting on us back in the Great War and don't think they deserve one single "non-AAA dominated" system in real 0.0. This, of course, does not apply to the parts of Ev0ke which went entirely traitor (by forming YouWhat and gave BoB a base of people willing to pos up three region and thus enable the northern front of that war to really happen) as I find it hard to even make a case for them to be given anything. Nay, Steel Vipers' leadership should be Selenelike in their pariahhood. I know that Razor supposedly doesn't care but they really should. Stop this forgiveness crap and start holding grudges, guys!

Circle of Two is slowly but surely dieing. They have lost control of one of the four stations in their sov 4 constellation and thus are really on the way to defeat, even if they weren't for the past three weeks as half of their userbase left the alliance. They have leveled off for the past week as far as corp desertions have went but still lose a few individual members. Oh, and we have a name for CO2's replacements now- Eclysium..
Yepp, thats right, another shitty, forgettable dot alliance that will die in six months, oh fucking boy. CO2 has been making noises about going to Venal to carry on a guerrilla war (and supposedly retake space after Domination,) but I predict their lowsec future to include the same slow death that it does for most alliances that try it. Razor has said that things are getting real this week but I haven't really heard anything to that effect from the battlefield yet. I'd really like to see CO2 survive longterm but, as I said, that seems unlikely.

Vale of the Silent:
Major drama has occurred within Atropos. and the alliance has lost several corps, many systems and one station system so far. The drama consisted of Black Serpent Technologies (MAMBA) getting permission from Morsus Mihi to use subterfuge to overthrow Marquie-X Corp (M-X) and kick them out of their own alliance. A spy in one of the overthrowing corps leaked the info on kugutsumen.com and CAOD and the plotters were kicked from the alliance/left of their own accord. The alliance is divided roughly in half. Atropos. has an advantage in that they still have sov over their systems and most of the stations but at the same time the plotters have gotten the north to, at least temporarily, reset Atropos. and let the civil war happen in an isolated manner. If they really are the stronger of the two sides then that should be enough to assure their victory.
To be brutally honest neither side has much actual talent in it (seriously, I haven't seen a single good alliance history among the corporations involved and I checked each and every last one of them before writing this.) This does bring up an interesting question though, I feel as though I want Atropos. to win because the alliance was set up as, from what I can tell, to be M-X's property and I am generally against organized groups stealing things and then pretending to be honorable about it. However, I felt quite differently when the same thing almost happened to SMASH. I guess I feel that alliances specifically set up for one corporation to lead should be considered as being part of that corporation but alliances set up to be an equal partnership between corps (as SMASH was) should not be considered to be the executor's property. And of course none of this affects my views on the Band of Brothers theft since that was taken by someone who had turned traitor to the organization and aligned himself to a different side during a war.
Insmother and Scalidng Pass and Wicked Creek:
Red Alliance has been kicked out of the entire area, basically, and has no Insmother stations left. Warrior's Tribe, the corporation that was leaving RA-no staying in RA-no leaving RA has left RA. They were the "Curse wing" of the organization so I doubt that the reformation in Curse thing is still on either (becoming basically the same as Varangians. seems more likely now) but I have not got any actual confirmation on that from anyone. My chart of who is getting what was somewhat messed up. Wicked Creek is being evenly divided between The Initiative. and Triumvirate. and Scalding Pass is going to, besides CoW in the east, Gentleman's Club. Northern Insmother will be going to a totally different group which has yet to make it down and claim sov so far. Warrior's Tribe have joined DarkSide. (.-D-.), a group founded by a former Whitenoise. corporation- Fremen Sietch.

A "major" Goonswarm offensive against Systemic-Chaos has taken place and I have been too busy losing my driver's license to actually get a handle on the situation. Supposedly the attack started as a plan to help dissidents within the organization conquer the area and become a strong buffer but they have since backed out and now it looks like Zenith Affinity wants the area as a second region (well, second and third since I think its pretty obvious that they would try to conquer Paragon Soul as well.) Goonswarm, who apparently don't want to deal with whiners who sit back and do nothing have named a few names so expect those corps to have a hard getting their assets out safely. Mittani, who usually comes off as an aspergers patient with a stick up his ass, actually sounds reasonable here and puts the main objective as not taking space but instead killing SYS-K (and thus taking out the subcapital pilots which usually support the SE/Coven capital ships.) As far as actual fighting goes... Goonswarm lost a few carriers but then thats how their offensives always start (the only war that the Goons actually came out ahead on the first day was the BoB invasion of S-U which started with 30 BoB bs getting massacred on a gate in Outer Ring.) Goonswarm's other various enemies have started out with halfhearted attempts on various Goonswarm station systems but, well, meh.
I can't actually blame the people at all for backing out of this idea. Goonswarm has, historically, been content to sit off to the side while their allies get nibbled to death by roaming gangs and with AAA and ROL in the area (and an angry group of Stain people who would want the same here) the same will happen here if Goonswarm can even win this war. This is a very bad idea for ZAF, too. They will be the ones who are put in an endless pos/timezone war against a more talented Stain Empire team, forced to deal with the enemies in the area and vastly overstretched from a pilot to region viewpoint. Also, of course AAA is going to get involved, eventually, you fools. They would be dumb not to. What I am really wondering is how this will effect SYS-K, earlier on I predicted that they would lose their (strong) identity if they let themselves become bloated with dead weight and they have 2000+ pilots, some of which want to turn traitor on the organization. Without PL/Razor/MM/TCF help (and even without KIA, lol as they are) the war will be even more one-sided than before in Euro/Russian time, provided that they don't show up.

About RA part - yes we are still reforming at Curse, enjoying random ROL\AAA roamings @ homebase as always (also got some neighboring neuts).
.-D-. now is kind of semi-friendly to us and they`ve moved to Curse, too (though they are still neutral for generic pew pew - actually, very nice and smart pew-pew buddies).
also our kb server is kinda dead, but we`r still below our insmother's average 100-150 kills\day so it feels more like a short vacation period.
Good update, this is basically the only credible source of info on events like the Esoteria war and Atropos. stuff. What would I ever do without you?

About SYS-K. There was no attempt by any corp to turn on SYS-K. Liam was in on it from the get go and it was a planned convo openly discussed in the alliance leadership channel. The alliance cohesion is strong.
Zapa, the goon diplo was trolled with obvious fabrications that a little detective work would have flushed out. The chatter on vent was all of the opinion that we had pushed the stories too far.
The real joke is that Mittani fell for it.

"bloated" seems to be the current word used by some enemies for sys-k. Noticing that word used a lot to describe the target for gs. I wonder if gs decides on a set item of descriptive words for their target, then just place them within post. Now that would be a wonderful idea

The situation in Pure Blind / Fade is slightly different that the bunch of stupidity that you can readr from Alex's daily update.
Basicly, from times to times, Evoke get some advantage, mainly when they get support from SoT. Sometimes, they get support from PL as well.
Due to the fact that all these alliances are mainly EU based, and MH operate more on the US TZ, TCF alone with the euro zone MH fleet has difficulty to gather as many number as the enemy does. Sometimes We get support form MM as well, or PL does not shwo up, and we have approx even number and performance, or sometimes even SoT does not show up, and Evoke are left alone (in that case, they obviously can't do anything, despite the quality of their fleet).
The fact is that they try to spam a bit everywhere in PB to get sov, mainly in station system. As mentioned before, they succefully took the sov from Defiant, in a single station system, which was porly defened by only 2 towers.
Elsewhere, there is no significant move. During the last 2 days, Evoke lost more tower that they were able to spam, especially in 9-4, where they are down to 1 tower in reinforced, as far as I know.
Since the begining of this war, we have beedn continously impressed by the quality of Evoke's fleet, they have some pretty good and imaginative fcs, and the average pilot knos well what he is doing. SoT have better equipment and number, but are easier to manage, because they do not have the same quality, as well as PL.
This war is a bit different from other in the point that I don't think that anyone in TCF would like that Evoke leave the field and go back to Fountain. We have some great time fighting against us, sometimes we win, sometimes we loose, but it is always a good piece of fun.
I f I could I would give them a permanent invitation as red friend, in Pure Blind, to keep playing like this, until the end of time.
I would just like to point out that its funny that for the past few months alliances have been shitting out titans and outposts, and then when october hit, we went from about 2-4 stations going up a week to almost a month without dropping them.
If dominion does nothing else, at least it slowed down how the big boys are spending their jewgold
Also: TCF lost 2 corps yesterday, 83 pilots, didn't see that mentioned.

Minor Dotlan fueled addition, MM finally went over 3000 pilots.
That response from 'drunk russians' was pretty bad. ROL (the only caps on field) shot the A2 bridge with, i can only guess, AAA on standby to drop onto a half hearted capital response. That's one bridge in a multi region redundant network compared to sys-k network which severed one half of their area from the other half.
Also shooting 49-U station services in response to incapping sys-k home station services is pretty funny. Whoa crap, 49-U no services, what will they do. Meanwhile ships and warping to a bubbled station and getting podded awoke with no cloning/fitting/or repair service.
Hopefully goons and co will keep those services down so sys-k has to repair them in the morning before their members can fully fleet up/fit/repair/update or they'll have to move out of system and fly into sector.
