Origin. is a tight-knit group of players based around the common philosophy of enjoying EVE from all facets and having fun. We enjoy hanging out in a drama free and real life tolerant atmosphere. We specialize in small-gang PVP tactics using innovative strategies and fits to combat 0.0 blob PVP, and are currently accepting mature, experienced PVP pilots.

What we are looking for:

Experienced Combat Pilots with an established kill history.
US TZ players who are ready and willing to fight, and always seek self improvement.
15mil SP minimum (limited API verified); exceptions can be made for those with proven experience.
Self sufficiency - We encourage and assist our members in isk making opportunities
Small gang experts and or experienced HAC/Recon/Logi pilots. We use our specialties as much as we can. (Numbers don't always win.)
We all have fun with this game so a sense of humor is definitely needed.
Use of voice comms is a must.

Black Legion specializes in small-gang PVP tactics using innovative strategies and fits to combat superior numbers in 0.0 PVP, and are currently accepting active corps with mature, experienced PVP pilots.

We are looking for us tz corps with 25+ ACTIVE members each. A strong killboard with impressive stats is required. Preferably, all members would at least have greater than 15m sp, and be able to fly t2 fitted HACS, recons, and battleships. The more people who can fly muninns and abaddons in your corp the better to be honest.

Muninns are the very key to our corporate and alliance identity and Alliance leadership is trying to push up the numbers of these ships in our roaming fleets. We've managed to alpha Drakes, Logis, even a poorly-fit Onyx once. Elo has a dream of one day one-shotting Abaddons and we all want to see him happy.

Actually, we choose to go the "preventive" route by handing out free logistics ships before every roam.

Edited to add: BTW, for those of us who have families / jobs / other hobbies, Origin is a great corp. We have nightly roams at 2:30 eve time (every night!), so if you are any sort of planner you can log in and immediately go out for the pew-pew.

This really is extremely helpful. I know when to be available and can do other things I need to get done and still be able to play Eve almost every night.

We've got some euros that unfortunately don't do much atm but I'm working hard to recruit some more guys. Got a couple EU tz corps that are interested although we're primarily US tz and that's what we're looking for.

Seriously, you can start (almost) from scratch and get into a Muninn with HAC IV and Medium Arty Spec IV in much less than that and use the remaining time to patch up any Gunnery/Engineering skills. And honestly, we aren't "l33t pvp players" we're just dorks who play spaceship games with a bit more organization and leadership. We think fleets are more fun when everyone is actually playing the game rather than watching TV or teasing their cat, so we do ask you to pay attention and not chatter too much. If you can manage that and fly a Muninn you should consider Origin.

Anyone interested in demonstrating how new characters can still be effective in game should show this admittedly aging vid to their newbys/Highsec scrubs that cant PVP or Indy people that dont have the skills trained.

Building on what Helios said: We're not looking for players who've just started playing Eve or who "want to give pvp a try", but neither do we require that members have been playing since beta.

New applicants should be able to fly a variety of sub-capitals and be confident in their ability to follow FC commands and do the things that combat requires, quickly and while under pressure. You should be self-sufficient with isk, since we will ask you to keep in stock a number of different shiptypes we use for various types of fleets (such as a muninn, rrbs, armor hac, dictor etc.)

While these requirements will discourage a lot of people, anyone who has been playing Eve for at least a year and been actively engaged in pvp should qualify. In return we offer regular scheduled roams with formed fleets and excellent leadership. Want some action?

Just because a group runs organized gangs and requires that members be able to fly certain ships doesn't automatically give them that 'l33t' stigma that seems to be popular among the cool kids who suck ass at pvp.

You have groups that have 50 pages of eft warrioring, theorycrafting, sisi testing for new doctrines and give their members ___ amount of time to train the needed skills. You also have the groups that don't require shit from their members and FCs who let you bring whatthefuckever to a fleet and just kind of hope you get some kills.

Then you have the groups who understand game mechanics and whatnot, who run organized gangs with fairly inflexible fleet comps and like to make sure that they don't lose ships for stupid reasons because it requires them to do something other than pvp until they get another ship. But they're not super serious and it's really just a bunch of drunks, stoners and chill mofos who want to kill shit with other people who are semi-competent at killing shit too.
