However, in one of the many coups a director (not CEO) of RA kicked several corps, which had to form a new alliance ROL. AAA was only blue to Goons because of Nync, who spearheaded the Southern campaign against BoB and generally was a long-term AAA ally. So without him there wasn't any reason to remain blue with them. Also Nync is a talented FC not the alleged "aluminum tycoon," who is a completely different person.

Actually the Russian comments in local and the use of explicit Russian google translations was provided by Goon morons to get their enemies motivated. And yes, Russians can't take when someone talks about pissing down the throat of their mothers, so you can use it again and again in the future, significantly boosting their participation numbers.

I think you're reading in way too deep to my statements. First off it wasn't intended as a "war of attrition", I said a single tactical maneuver (which failed) could have been justified on the grounds of attrition under different circumstances. Second, I didn't "coin" shit, I'm not a representative of GoonSwarm's strategic direction.
More like a lot don't care about the reasons. The ones that do have a pretty good idea of why we're aligned against AAA, which is mostly to do with them siding with an RA splinter we reset because they were deliberately preventing plexes from despawning, and for setting BoB blue.

The degree of things, the reliance on them, and the context matters. Where the boundaries between acceptable and unacceptable on any of those axes exist is ultimately up to personal opinion, but I will say that I don't think we've really moved those boundaries.
Titan abuse is an interesting case because ultimately it's a legitimate gameplay mechanic, so regardless of how much we think it ruined the game or BoB used it as a crutch, we'd be idiots to not abuse it ourselves given the opportunity.
