Word on the street (and in local) is Coven and some friends have decided to mount an all out offensive on Brick Squad to remove them from stain and are moving into J-A and T-8. Cant have those pesky bricks shooting their mission running allies. Speaking of which, I think that this must be where Dark Rising and RKK want to do their safe missions or something.
Coven has been the most active in the area and even titan bridged in a gang to gank a couple bs outside t-8 station a day or so ago. Should be some interesting fighting going on especially considering the TZ differences.
Uhh, I don't think any of us are whining about IT. We are, in fact, pointing and laughing at IT. For an alliance run by the ex-leader of BoB, it's pretty much everything he claimed BoB would never be. Full of the cast off dregs of dead, defeated alliances, hoovering up anyone that will join that has enough short term memory loss to forgot how BoB treated and spoke of their "allies".
I too hope they "shake up" 0.0 before Dominion, because frankly it's stale and boring, but it's not going to happen. They'll wait for Dominon, then they'll make a play on Delve hoping to catch us with our pants down while the sov mechanic change over happens. The entire thing is so obvious, it hurts.

It should also be noted that this alliance isn't BoB, and expectations and claims made about BoB aren't really applicable. BoB is dead.
This new alliance is not BoB MK2, the entire attitude within the alliance is different. The expectation that wins can come from being member corps more awesome has been pretty much been trashed (as previous events showed). In addition, people have been forced to accept that our opponants are not a bunch of clueless rifter-flying noobs that will collapse in the face of our "more experienced" members. The errors of hubris have been realised, despite any wizard-hat-wearing roleplay.
We would have to be pretty stupid to do what is expected of us - that's not to say we won't, jus that it would be stupid...

Its been confirmed beyond the shadow of a doubt that Black Core Alliance and DEFI4NT, two Tau Ceti Federation pets, are moving into Cloud Ring. Along with them will be Tactical Narcotics Team, who recently got reset by large parts of the coalition. DEFI4NT, in related news, lost an in-build titan this past Friday/Saturday. They accidentally let it run out of fuel.Fortunately it was financed by a private member so the alliance is A-OK in spite of the unfortunate accident. Did I mention that DEFY are a terrible alliance with poor leadership yet? Well if not let me go on to also state that TCF has ordered them to cut a further 500/600 of their member base so expect them to lose even more corps in the near future. The recent upsurge in activity has been enough to finally get the ball rolling on the north's attempt to clean Cloud Ring of everything other than Pandemic Legion. Pandemic has been attacking more important northern assets as well so it appears that they will be living and fighting close to their home until this whole return of BoB thing blows over (it won't.) Expect that whole Sons of Tangra/Mostly Harmless agreement thing to be mothballed as well.

Triumvirate has begun taking sovereignty over systems in Wicked Creek. The Initiative. has gotten control of one as well. There are rumors out there that Cult of War wants one of the constellations in Scalding Pass now that Minor Threat is pulling out (the former Kraftwerk one) and that The Initiative. is interested in some of the space as well. I find myself wondering how this will effect Red Alliance- do they really have the power to fight against Triumvirate. As bad as Triumvirate are at posting they can still do a number on old over-the-hill alliances like RA (see: IRON.) Two more Minor Threat corps have ended up in Zenith Affinity along with one from Controlled Chaos. This makes it so that more than half of ZAF's membership were not part of the alliance during the taking of Period Basis (a number of those are former Kraftwerk members, but still.) It is sitting at around 40/60 right now for having been there or not and this is just including corps, the number would surely rise if you look at who was and still is in those older corps. Goonswarm will be doing some work in the area over the weekend to annoy Atlas, who are moving their base closer to the "frontlines."

Even more groups have left Minor Threat and a small one (probably the future executor corp) called Engineers of the War has joined it.
A group left Circle of Two, CO2 had a major battle with the north yesterday and I am sticking that here because it isn't worth its own paragraph. Results were inconclusive, few caps killed on both sides but ultimately if the north wants Co2 gone they will get their wish.

Yes, because KIA are so fucking bad that they intend to reset the alliance that holds all of the space between Period Basis and Empire. This is not an extraordinary claim at all.
Well it might be that KIA got wind of the blue circle not being happy with eddz troop performance and its better to reset than be reseted. However it evolves, it actually makes me smile, i think its nice justice. With ZAF getting ex MT corps, they gona want KIA´s constellations so that will be easy tradeoff.
