-MVN- is going to Black Legion, RUS corps will probably be joining XCOM (their corp meetings are tomorrow).
Makes sense -- change is always good in EVE, and Herculetz just wasn't willing to change. Stainwagon with c0ven/xcom/se-revival will do good Stain things while BL. will harvest many tears from the Branch/Tenal duders, for as long as they don't piss off anyone who's got the will to drive them out of there.
Seems like a win-win for all sides.

Hereby on behalf of Russian thunder Corporation I announce that we are leaving tripple a. We're one of the oldest and core corporation in alliance. So it was a very tough decision for us. But the situation in alliance leaves no other option.
Current state of -A- is being a slowly rotting substance with low activity and main reason for it is a leadership vacuum. There is no one who could take control over alliance affairs. Herc and Maka have done a lot for -A- in the past two years, but now they're gone. And we don't see anyone who could step up in foreseeable future, even MVN is leaving us soon.
RTSQ is not going to join any of FOTM allaince like PL, TEST, RED, whatever. We're going to become a part of a new russian speaking alliance in the depths of Stain. Our goals will be the same: Kill test and their pets.
To be honest I'd like save the ticker and freeze it for now.
Taking all the aforesaid into consideration I'd like to say those 6 years in AAA have been a blast. I will miss our english speaking part, especially you MVN <3.

2012 saw many changes coming to the South. Alliances gained space, lost it, and traded it away. New alliances, and many old ones, fought each other over a large expanse of space. For Soco, it was the end, and for the victors, a new beginning. -A-, an alliance that lasted for a very long stretch of time seems to have finally collapse, its memberbase spread throughout the universe.
For them, it was indeed their curtain call.
We might be able to say goodbye to this thread soon.

This changes barely anything. It still proves that -A- pilots are the best in EVE and that they can go and join any alliance in the game that they want. Be it in PL, ncdot, BL, etc. or do their own thing, there can be little doubt that when -A- pilots and her FC's were active there was very little that could be done about stopping -A- (Outside of calling 1/2 the map to your aid because your equal numbers were insufficient to -A-'s vastly superior raw piloting skill). The scramble to get a hold of -A- pilots proves that more then anything. Also, I am sure that you are jealous that MVN won't be joining PL, but as per usual, MVN will remain a roaming corp, capable of standing up for itself without sucking on a g00n c00n c0ck. At her prime, -A- diplomats were some of the best in EVE, capable of forming together some of the most dis-unified groups in EVE to form a coalition that for years kept the entire South unified, and free of the vast majority of tech-scum from the North.
While -A- may be losing some corps, the alliance itself is not dying. I still have little doubt that -A- will reclaim Catch as soon as the TEST blob inevitably leaves INIT to its own devices, at which point INIT will once again be driven out of the rightful home of -A-. We both know this to be true. -A-'s strategy that has worked on countless other occasions will prove to be the correct strategy once again, regardless of any of your coalitions short-term, ill conceived machinations that lack anything of long-term strategy.
Sadly I doubt I'll be in a drake to recapture GE-8 like last time (Stupid nerf -.- ), but I know it will once again be a -A- station, in a -A- GE-8 system.

-A- vs INIT 1v1? So far -A- has a flawless record in that department bud, so I am not sure you really want to be going for that.
The Final Curtain Call
I've been on the verge of making this post a number of times over the last 6 months or so, I have written it fully twice before, and twice I have decided to not go through with it, however 3rd time is the charm and it seems like now it is the time. There have been a lot of questions as to what the alliance will do in the future and specifically as to what I will do in the future. I have probably gotten around 30 convoes and messages just today from various parts of eve wondering where I will be going and what I will be doing...to people I ignored...sorry I probably just don't like you.
The last couple of months were not some of the best in the history of -A-, but like I've kept on saying everyone has their ups and downs and we are no exception to the rule. In my mind and in the minds of a lot of other people -A- was and perhaps at least in spirit will forever be one of the best alliances the game has seen. Other alliaces came and went, -A- kept its course though most of the tourbulent times. Perhaps at times it wasn't the right course, but looking back at things and saying what should've been done back then is easy. We cannot change the past however...until someone invents a time machine in any case. Which brings us to the situation that we are in.
Over the past few weeks I've been repeatedly asked by certain people, who are no longer in this alliance, to take over the alliance leadership and basically do things the way they wanted them done. I will not point fingers at who those people were and I will not name names, however it doesn't require a great deal of imagination to figure it out. Each time I said no, partly because of time commitment that it implants, but mostly because Herc has honetly done a great job as the alliance leader, whether people want to accept that or not. I will not try to change their minds on the issue, take it or leave it whichever you prefer. Finally some corps decided to leave in search of greener pastures and the not-so-illusive blue donut. As temping as it is to blame them I will not even do that. People want to go have fun their own way and after all Eve is a game and I respect that. Some of the actions of those said people before and after they left I have little respect for, but at this point it does not matter. At the end MVN was forced to leave mostly because they were the only people left in USTZ and this I totally understand.
This brings us to the current situation and specifically to what I will be doing in the future, which is why I'm writing this anyway. Maka as the charachter itself will remain a permanent member of Rage and Terror. RAT is my home in eve and I don't think I will ever find another one like it. Don't be surprised to sometimes see me in fleets in the south with whoever still remains in -A- flying alongside the new russian alliance in stain. As for my other toons I will be heading off to fly with MVN in Black Legion for the time being.
I will still be around to discuss any -A- related issues and whatnot that people might or will have in the future. FCing for -A- has been the greatest honor of my eve career and I highly doubt that there will ever be another alliance and another group of people that will come close to what -A- has been for me. Fly safe whereever the stargates take you.
