49 update?
We reinforced/incapped/killed almost everything that we possibly could on the initial assault - r64's, i-hub, station, cyno-jammer, jumpbridge, station services. We put SBUs on all gates, and we also erected (yes, erected) staging POSes of our own.
AAA, U'K and AAA C were in two separate fleets - caps had around 150 in fleet; bs and support was almost 200.
Goons had a form-up today at 01:30 EVE time which was way off our prime. We had around 50 guys in support ships to counter, but Goons managed to split even that gang into two, so we could not do much, actually we didn't do anything other than managing to combine the 2 parts of the gang without dying horribly in the process (using a window of opportunity when a GS sabre gave us around 10 seconds of un-bubbled gate).
Rewind a bit to when Goons got into the system around 02:00 EVE time, we actually hoped to coordinate with c0ven and sys-k who were idling in the system with around 120 - 130 guys, but they pretty much logged off when GS came into system leaving us hopeless since GS brought around 200 dudes.
Doesn't work now that the system is so unresponsive.
Now which of you fags wrote this...
There are some people in GoonSwarm that seem to be taking this war with a grain of salt. So our allies die, they say. We'll be fine. 2 hour timer variance. US prime dominance.
You're wrong.
IT can alarm clock 400+ people to take a station. AAA & Co. can bring 200 more. Both of them together comprise the largest Supercap/capital fleet Eve has ever seen. With the current node problems, they can shove them all in during Euro prime and hold it until US prime. Worse yet, our alliance is suffering from massive income problems. How steady will our income be when IT has reinforced or taken all of our high ends? How will we fund keeping 43 stations and countless bridges sov'd up and defended? How well can we hold Delve when most our jump bridge network is being burned to the ground?
Do not believe the spin. Delve is under attack. Our allies cannot help us. We are outnumbered. We may lose Delve. You are needed on ops. We must hold out long enough for the wars of the north to be resolved - for the NC, or the remnants of the NC, to bail us out. There is nothing else that can be done. No offensive we can launch. No more tricks up our sleeves. This is the third Great War, and it is once again centered on Delve.

Bu Jinkan saying it like it is.
Goons have a tendency to panic, moan and troll whenever anything happens.
its understandable tho in some sense as fountain to the north continues to collapses under IT control & further north the nc appears incapable of resisting the 2 prong attack on their space then to their south lies AAA/stainwagon who appear to be stirring from their Dominion slumber are making moves on querious and their only allies that arnt directly under attack is ZAF/Rebellion both of which will crack like SOT did so its leaving them rather isolated atm, now i'm not saying they will be in jita by summer but unless something changes somewhere they will very hard pressed to fund a long term war against 2 large coalitions of alliances that can field similar combined numbers in their own prime.
Are you comparing Rebellion\ZAF to SOT?
They have already walked that street, Rebellion even more with the russian pressure to withdraw their goon support during the AAA invasion. ZAF always stayed with goons in good and bad times.
And offcourse when IT conquers all of Fountain (which isn't will or not, but when) and if PL decides to go on hiatus, without withdrawing to goon space. And aslong as NC doesn't step up their game, offcourse goons will be cornered, outnumbered and outgunned.
Just like BOB were years before. Just Without a great meatshield like GBC.
im not suggesting that either will be inept as SOT has become to the point they will practically hand over stations but i do think that when it goes toe toe between Goons & IT\AAA + allies they will not be a noticeable force e.g someone who could change the outcome of a conflict. and things are slightly different now in regards to moon goo had goons not been so liberal with the isk they made and dropped a fuck ton of pointless stations it wouldn't have been as bad but they have wasted a few hundred billion on them & now with the changes they have half (?) the income they did have
Its almost impossible for ZAF, Goons and Reb to lose stations the way that SOT did. In SOT, control of their stations was split over several corporations - in ZAF, Goons and Reb all of their stations are controlled by the Executor Corp in Alliance. Essentially to lose those stations the Executor Corps would have to be kicked, or for some reason be handing those stations over to other corps in alliance.
49-U local is almost 700 and Goons are not even here yet.
Also, a surprising amount of AAA old-faces have started showing up in alliance chat.
Little by little, one goes a long way
Formerly the artist known as Serj, Ykatni, Acobar, Intravenous deMilo and about fifty other mains/alts the last few years.
No more character sales when I ragequit, seriously....
The 49-U GoonSwarm I-HUB has been put into its second reinforced timer after a HUGE and VERY ENJOYABLE battle that lasted around 4 hours.
Parties involved:
AAA, SYS-K, C0VEN, U'K and a single corp from AAA C versus GoonSwarm, ZAF and Phreeze.
GF.
Fucking DBRB gave me a warpin right into your fleet, I was hoping to live a bit longer than that
GF.
I hope you like alarm clocking for the next ihub reinforcement
and then the next station reinforcement
and then 3 times for every system afterwords you want to take.
tl;dr this is going to be long and pointless, GS is zero threat to -a- because they have shit non-US participation. What on earth is the point other than get space for IT that they could easily get even with GS helping pl/sot.
The idea that I have "free will" is the only irrational belief that I allow myself.
If I am wrong, I had no choice in the matter.
they need something to do? the only other option they have is to turn on one of their allies, AAA is historically pretty good at that but why bother when they have a big fat target sitting next door

none of those alliances are actively hostile to them (except apparently CVA now??) so why bother creating new enemies when you have a readymade one?
GS is just as "actively hostile" as xDeath (and prov bloc, wtf).

This is funny to read, sorry Yorda...
Looks like -a- + pets ate bombs most the day. Two separate battle reports with 15 bs killed and 21 (with 0 lost and 2 lost), then the main battle has 41 bses + a carrier killed for 20 bs lost.
I'm still amazed every time I realize GS is probably the most successful alliance in the western bloc.

how do you lose 78 carriers?goons lol
BAN 09!
We're not going to ban people for saying or doing dumb stuff, but we might start probating people who ask us to ban others.
well theres goes ISD's credibility.
like they had any
We currently have more capitals than they have pilots in 49-. About a 2 day long assault by AAA 1 jump from their space is about all their stamina can manage, I can't say I'm surprised vOv
The issue with -a- is that everyone reports rol/a/se/etc. as just "-a-". rol and se did most of the work in their last offensive on 49-, and most of the pets they had to alarm clock were obviously going to crash and burn before they even got the station.

*UPDATE FROM 49-U*
Local at 620, 370 goons/zaf vs rest hostile/unknowns. Bubbles up on 4-0 gate and goons have control of system.
Another 100 hostiles amasing in 4-0 but will it be enough to jump in. Station out in 1h30min so time will tell![]()
And ROL is the biggest glass cannon of them all even if they have slowly been gaining legitimacy over the past year by offering prime 0.0 space to people who join them.

Which brings us back to reason #9419203 that Dominion SOV mechanics suck walrus balls.
Old SOV was grinding through stationary targets, but in your own timezone. Dominion moved it to the opposite extreme: fleet battles for every system but at a specific time.
Requiring alarm clock ops for every battle isn't sustainable. Lag is just the short-term issue for Dominion. I think it will prove incredibly static because the current blocs are roughly divided along timezone shifts, and these mechanics provide an incentive to keep it that way.
and AAA et all just left 4-0, the system adjacent to 49-u where they were massing for a breakin.
