TrojanMan whilst 8 fleets is exaggarated......you cannot deny that current IT fleet numbers are embarassing........i dont think youre a renter alliance, so you should msotly consist of pvp toons, if you check some alliance, what they field over longer period of times such as:
PL from 1000 chars can field 150, Evoke from 900 can field 150 as well, Coven from 800 does 150-200, Cursed from 500 fields 80-130, so we can say 15% at least should it be in your timezone CTA. Thats 825 players = 3 and quarter full fleets.

To the bigger alliances, AAA could field 250-300 (now its much less but could) from 2000, Atlas had 400 from 3100, etc. Both AAA/Atlas have 1/3 of this now.....so its not only IT´s problem.

I also agree that numbers are lower than they should be. I'm not a delusional EVE player. But remember... IT has Anzac. Which is an extremely large corporation with tons of players carebearing and in Empire. Before Anzac members get emo, yes they do have some good PVPers in the war. And no, IT is not a renter alliance... but with the new changes in upgrades in systems and such, many corporations are bringing on individuals more industrial geared to keep indexes up and bring in minerals for production while the PVP toons are off fighting. Those industiral toons tend to be stupid when faced with combat. Or complacent. And they can be found back in IT home space... far from the front. PL has been feasting on them since deploying to the south.

This problem is not unique to just Anzac (they are just the biggest and easiest target to pick on). Is this an excuse? Perhaps? Doesn't make it right. But that kinda thing isn't unique to one corporation...

Also, realize that there are MANY people back in Delve as PL continues to harass Delve/Querious. Although downplayed frequently, PL is becoming more and more of a threat. Yes Phreeze I said it, you guys are upgraded from that mosquito at the bbq that is annoying the fuck out of you. Now you're like the mosquito that is carrying malaria.

On a Sunday red pen CTA, you should be able to get 30% including alts inside a healthy alliance for a two-hour period. PL achieved this in some cases in pure blind, and many individual corps achieve it regularly. On average in any timezone, you should be able to get around 2/24 ~ 8% for a rolling average 2-hour period (obviously more or less if you're timezone-centric) if you're healthy and active. Thus, if IT were healthy and active, they should field on an important sunday red pen .3*5500 ~ 1600 ~ 8 fleets, and on average 2/24*5500 ~ 450 ~ 2 fleets.

But they're can't -- they're unhealthy. They're pubbie infested, timezone-centric and generally shit. I'm not saying the NC aren't either, but the NC are less shit.

For someone who seems to be in neither camp... you sure do a lot of speculating and make up lots of fancy numbers. and are easily trolled.
