We decided to have a go in Insmother since HTA/Volution Cult seemed to want to have fun with us.
We formed up a Domi fleet with a few RR BS etc and headed to F3-8X2.
Anchored SBUs and RFed 3 small POS while our was onlining.
HTA/Volution Cult came when there was a bout 15 min left on the SBUs

Once they bailed we started to work on the TCU, till they came back briefly.
Once TCU was dead we jumped in XO where around 30 ships were hugging F3 gate in a large buble.

why single out cry havoc? you'll probably lose heavily outnumbered against most alliances unless its someone like BLAST or IT

i personally agree with you but renters are all we can find several regions away so we have to manage with that. Our leaders tried to find a better challenge ( i heard once someone talking about Esoteria ) but our alliance is still young and i'm not sure this is something we are willing to do yet, i mean Curse and regions around are really a paradise for us providing good roamings and turkey shoot. (maybe no real challenge but so much fun!)
I think we will get a challenge when a serious alliance will come to settle in WC or ScP or we will just have to wait for the return of Atlas & co (even if we can't do much against their cap blob).
PS: that's for our situation right now, we had good fights before (i mean with some good opposition)

What difference it makes to kill what you describe incompetent renters to elite pvpers in SC or NC that are blackscreened and dying, any kill in eve is usually fail on the loser part, as if he wouldnt do any mistake, he wouldnt be dying.
And what PL/SECOVEN/CA have common depsite killing mostly incompetent but numerous people and alliances is that they are the last remainder that the whole renter system, that makes people hold space without working for it, without fighting for it, without protecting it, without playing the game as 0.0 sapce holding group should do, can be broken.
By every shitty alliance that is removed they get out the message to powerblocks, that there is still some danger outside of team north and team south. That despite everything no big alliance will care for the small one, so they have to learn to do it on their own. That your close friends are more than a huge alliance far away, that what counts is you and not waiting on outside help.
The protection of renters is part of the pay roll they giving Atlas/IT/AAA etc......if not, that these groups are only showing that the deal isnt what its supposed to be.
I do love choices and variety, and these groups bring a little bit of colour into the bl\ck/white universe of 0.0 in eve.

The renter system is great. Almost every region is full of retards that fly expensive faction-fitted faction ships. No need to hunt for officer or faction spawns to make bank.

IMHO, picking on renters is just looking for targets of opportunity. Not looking for GF's nor will it break the power blocs. If anything, it'll make them stronger. When the "GF" happens, the weaker alliances who have decent pvp corps will start looking for a home who will provide them with good leadership and exprience. This is only found in the larger bloc coalitions/alliances.
I give Cursed Alliance props for actually picking a fight with Atlas and the larger alliances. They've done a great job of pushing space and trying to get fights. However, thinking that picking on targets of opportunity, such as renters will make power blocs weaker is ignorant.
The fight went on for over 5 hours. Not at any time did Cursed go against the entire (almost) 300 man fleet. Also, if you look closer, most of the deaths are SB's and the towers doing work rather than cursed actually engaging and blowing ships up.
Credit for putting together a 24 man RR Domi fleet...
So your saying they used their superior skill to outmaneuver the fleet and killed the stragglers, sounds like 5 hours of fun.
Noone gives you credit for any gf or any fight if you loose it. If you horrible or stellar, you will be laughed at in both occasion if you loose.
I think either of Cow/GC/Atlas will have to return home due to the coming invasion, with goons there will be a big US tz presence, and OEG/Cursed can nicely cover Euro tz.
Looking forward to Primary. using the Esoteria experience against goons.
What would Primary have learned other than how to fail at claiming sov, failing large fleet fights when outnumberng enemy, not using capitals, the list goes on. Maybe what to avoid?
On a less troll note, other than Atlas, do you believe that it will take only GC or COW or do you think both will head home to defend? Furthermore, the posts here don't seem to indicate things being too dire, can you give some more current events that would require a full recall home?

However, just looking at that KB report it looks more impressive than it is.
When you break it down, while yes... Atlas renters were very out played, the effort needed to do so was not as impressive. Cursed gets credit for putting on a good show. No doubt about that. However, a closer look reveals a lot more.
In the end both, as Cow is euro and gc us tz. The current lack of sov warfare from cursed is due to a) they cover 1 tz b) they dont really want or need any sov .
Scalding is very easily attackable, as wicked creek is, due to curse being close and having many stations you can base out of, short supply routes to mpire, and alliances living there, dont hav isk reserves to sustain a long term war.
As there are literrally no moons, Cow/GC/Primary/renters can really be isk bled out within weeks of intensive warfare to the point they cannot replace caps/towers/sbu´s/tcu´s/cap fuel etc, which is something that cannot happen to it or aaa or nc. So the strategy of scorched earth that wouldnt work on nc will work here.
The biggest problem i conquering space is finding those that will actually take it and live there. If goons/oeg/dreddit/hbd plan to take one region, which is angel, but not so bad (no moons though) but close to curse where you make lot of isk, than they have coverage of all timezones, which makes them really dangerous. As atm renters just prime for us tz, and cursed wont be assed to alarm clock it, as there is nothing bad at stake.
So renters get beaten in one timezone, than rep it up in another. Once someone will pressure them in every tz, they disintegrate like shit in a bathtube. Its about constant pressure, where you cant make isk, than you leave for other renter entities.
Plus count with PL coming for some cap rides once gc/cow and atlas bring caps out, and thats another big problem. And some drone elements despite the ? for atlas, wont hesistate to get insmother space, as its where ruskies made most of their isk anyway. SO thats more people interested in grabbing a piece of pie. Sooner or later it will require atlas coming back in full force anyway. There the point will be, how much atlas stands by cow/gc/primary./renters and where the line will be drawn.
If the war is funny and goons dont fuck up, more entities might jump on the bandwagon, just for the lack of targets in the north as IT without atlas/cow/gc is fucked and will be relocated in weeks.
tl:dr if goons will do only 50% invasion, it will destabilise whole scalding pass/wicked creek easily and they have really good chance to get the region.

That is undoubtedly very efficient for Atlas - it's frankly a very good idea from their point of view, and is the model that has worked for various Russian alliances for years - but the merry band of egoists who choose to become alliance leaders might not be happy to see themselves getting the boot.
