The original defense fleet was organized and lead by the worst FC i've ever seen. He spent most of the time running after a LR HAC/BC gang of about 30 with our 120+ short range BS. In Tribute. While FIO got SBU'd. I thought we were over this kind of fc'ing in the NC, apparently we're not.

Also, the shift to sov warfare by Molle with the two system reinforcements clearly isn't a product of the time now being right and the NC being sufficiently softened-up.

He has stalled on all fronts and has come to the point where he is prepared to risk a Y-2 style system lock-up simply because if he doesn't get something to balance the titan, babby-titan and mothership losses, the cascade of his Sys-K pets, the increasingly fragile state of Blast, the strain on his pilots of being jerked between Fountain, Querious, Delve and Pure Blind almost at will, and the half-hearted attitude of his allies then he is going to be responsible for yet another lost campaign. He has to roll the dice because a lucky break is his only hope now.

The first time they defended this tower they brought 70 carriers, a few supers and a load of support (about 150 dudes in total).

Their first defence op for the system was called by one of the .zero guys who said that there was a baby titan in danger. (and there was no other csaa running in system)

It was almost certainly a titan, the only reason they didn't show this time was because we suprised them and brought more dudes than they had on in alliance.

It's very unlikely that was a titan, although I'm sure IT wouldn't admit it if it was, and NC would be convinced it was a titan no matter what.
Pretending BLAST/Sys-K failscading would be a hard blow to the Southern Coalition is a bit optimistic. Sys-K has allways been worthless, and BLAST just provide a bit of cannonfodder for the IT fleets. And let's face it, if they fall appart, the majority of the corporations will simply be absorbed into other terrible IT pets.

What more problematic for IT command is that PL is long term problem without solution other than withdraw from north. They dont have assets you can hit, if you blob them, nxt day there are there again, and they win either by killing IT stuff or just forcing them to be in one system. How far can you ignore that you loose your home infrastructure is the question. And there are not any entities left that are not in north, that can change that. So they could send init/rol back (doubt they would do) but without them in north they will just get blobbed with same result.

Tbh PL without sov si much more dangerous than with one region (although those getting the jew gold when dyspro was 120k would prolly think otherwise).

I like how we've condensed totally and completely the SC into one giant blob just like the NC. Here's a suggestion, go home and reset the other major powers. You don't even have to go after their sov if you don't want to! This whole no one left to shoot bull is incredible considering each of the 3 powers down there have their own respective blocs and could hit each other if they chose too.
