Today -A- learned the best way to keep their scimitars alive is not by switching them to 100mn fits, but to switch them from a POS shield to the insides of a station.

- RIP THORN Alliance
Also holy shit you faggots choke so goddamned hard I'm having trouble finding an analogy to convey the amount of cock-chugging SoCo is doing right now.
Surprisingly, they do work to get subcap kills.
They're fast as fuck, and with their tiny sig radius it's almost impossible to kill them with battleship sized guns if they aren't webbed and painted. Imagine an ahac fleet that can go 2km/sec and can shoot from 120km. They still have 80-90k EHP as well, so they're fairly tanky.
We bring a ton of huginns to web, but with enough tengus they can still volley through our reps and so they slowly grind down our huginn numbers until we cant kill them anymore. Usually what happens is we kill all their scimitars and so with an occasional lucky volley or a few hero huginns left alive we can kill some tengus. By this point though either our fleet is ground down to the breaking point so we bail out, or -A- decides they can't break us and they bail out. It's almost impossible to pin them down and wipe them out, so most fights end up as a stalemate or one side just claiming a strategic victory.
The sensor damp and ECM shit is "annoying" but not something that shuts the fleet down in the early going. It gets worse later on when we're low on scimi and huginn numbers so they can put like 10 tengus to a scimi with damps and ecm. Some get jammed and the effectiveness of it gets multiplied as more logi and recons die. The main problem with the damps is that the huginns can't lock out to their max web range, but with a fitting modification we've more or less canceled that out.
In other news from PB - vera cruz attempted to reinforce our ihubs (again) and had formed their 30 + armor BS gang with proper logi support and good boosts.
The intel came in when we were in 49-/4-O about to head home so we organized possible reinforcements while getting dictors/cyno in position in TN-25.
https://kb.pleaseignore.com/?a=kill_...&kll_id=531223
We dunked on them after suiciding the dictor and lighting cyno at a perch off their fleet. Most of them got away, but we killed a damnation and another baddon in later systems while they were running.
That was extremely fun- vcruz, stop playing with our sov.

The damps were really effective against my huginn when they kited out to 90-100km in previous fights, but when they came in close (and used targeting speed damps) it wasn't that big of a deal. I had like five dudes damping me most of the fight and still applied webs before the BS fired. Also a ton of them damped me every time I got primaried which was kinda funny.
That sure does look fun.
I get super fucking nervous when I see something on kugu/jabber with one of my corp members names in it. Especially after FPShacker.
Edit: Quoting is hard. This was in reference to Tiny'tux trying to recruit that dread pilot.
i was sad when fpshacker was kicked from test(((
So I heard Lucian's titan got tackled in Sagain, or at least a Thorn Avatar. Heh.
Also did -A- really go through with the 100mn AB Scimi's? From what I've seen they've been standing down fleets ever since they announced it.
The new fit is pretty dam expensive but is fully reimbursable, so the price, in principle, is not an issue in here, but I have some doubts regarding the financial capability from the other alliances to actually be able to do the same.
BTL there are already people going for "adaptations" that will gimp the ship logist capabilities. So the end result might well be less logistics losses and more tengus losses! We will have to wait and see. In the end is a risky but logical move, but if it works...
HAHAHA.

Sure, let's totally ignore the fact of how many times you run away when we form, or the stealthy attack of our sov when you make it vulnerable exactly on time for any major ops going on in 49-.
Or the fact that we have removed all of your sbus everytime you put them up.
Giggidy goo, so many imbeciles in this world
- If you don't have the manpower to attack an individual alliance that is in a coalition centered around 3 newly conquered regions and you still decide to wage war on sov level you are not serious about taking that sov.

All the SoCo can do at this point in the game is chestbeat about how they can take a handful of non-important timers during RUS timezone. When it comes down to the wire in US timezone, they stand down quicker than the French. They're surprisingly good at running away though. VCRUZ ran like heck when we got bored and took 3 titan bridges to interrupt their little structure shooting party last night.
On a side note: Fun fact. -A-'s replacement ships generally get slowboated from LKG. Personally I can't wait until my alt is ready to throw them the occasional welcoming party along the route. Somehow I doubt they get "reimbursed" for losing a ship en route![]()
Dsan mentions that they get reimbursed in his "burn the house down on the way out" blogpost: http://eveblog.dsan.dk/?p=209
Dsan is a hero if only for the amount of tears and rage his blog produces
There's nothing worse than having a good idea for a post not being good enough to pull it off :negative:
Since we are so bad why are your members paying us to stop camping ?
Really , i never saw one tribal form. (exept those ratting fleets)
And very nice yesterday , take couple of titan bridges , drop all your 200faggot fleet with supers on standby to kill our super massive 27 man threat.
Cant forget about the best thing , we had like 7 supers with no support shooting system next door and you failed to get them.
This is getting better everyday : http://www.veracruz-alliance.com.br/...l&kll_id=54527 only one pod payed all of our yesterday losses.
cant wait to face a tribal fleet would be so fun hahahahhaha.
When you consider the amount of brevado and sabre rattling at the start of this war the attempt to destroy -A- seems to have petered out much faster than even us sceptics dared to predict.
The attackers are now chest beating about saving defensive timers and seem to be on the back foot already.
The only real question is how long PL will stick it out.
True, I have raped history, but it has produced some beautiful offspring

Aren't those fairly legit claims though?
The Init
If I remember correctly, Init was blue with AAA back in Atlas's glory days. I remember quite a few fights going down where PL was jumping dreads out of Doril in Curse to fight Aaa/Atlas/Init on behalf of XxDeathXx, Razor and Goonfleet. This was long before they ever decided to team up with you Pandemic dudes to stomp the shit out of their former allies.
I think you can probably fairly say that AAA actually did outlast Init in Catch, but only after being soundly defeated while PL was involved. This was around the time PL pretty much was able to circle the map shitting on anyone you wanted to. Once PL left to focus on aborting IT super-caps, Init cozied up with IT. The IT/Init combo did win most fights against AAA, but when IT had to pull back to Fountain Init struggled and eventually got pushed out by Tek's (and occasionally Maka's) drake gangs.
RA
As for RA, they blued them after taking C-J and pretty much avoided a huge sov grind, but I don't get the sense RA was interested in fighting beyond that point. XxDeathxX had been routed, White Noise had disbanded, you PL guys seemed to be leaving after C-J, and RA was not in its best form.
I think you can say AAA did beat RA and then blued them, rather than just offering status for an alliance that was still capable of being a real threat.
Also, don't forget to award AAA a few points for killing Controlled Chaos, as bad as they were. The whole "Red Arrow" coalition (RA's little mini-bloc within the DRF) went down the sink with AAA's successful push into the South-East.
White Noise
So the story goes that because White Noise was deployed South to fuck with AAA, their sov was easier to grind in the North before they could move up to defend it, but I don't think this was the most important factor.
At best AAA played an indirect role here. Fair claim.
in before nairu's tower gets reinforced. wolololol
You start this post out by saying you're a credible threat and chest beating about people paying you off and how you're messing with our sov. Then you transition to crying about being responded to with force (which by the way wasn't formed to kill you.) After that you call us bad for not killing your shit. Then you go to a roundabout way of saying you're irrelevant again.
There are a lot of things wrong with this post and it's not just your English.
No point driving the cockroaches out if they're only going to infest that crap space again after.
