I just doubled checked our "official fittings" on wiki and ingame saved ones.
They all have reps in highslots, and the whore guns/empty highslots are AWFUL, yes.

Smartbombs isn't directly stupid to have, but mainly it's logi anchors who are asked to have them fitted to counter drones.

Don't ask me why SO MANY can't properly fit the ships, I hope it's lack of skills.
I kinda doubt that scimi fittings was what lost D-3 for -A- though.

Now look at -a- fits and notice the same 'very important things'? Medium reps are quite weak, have the same 5s duration and you are losing 50% ehp so that your scimi pilots wont have to bother with cap management and buying expensive 1% implants is not really the best thing in my opinion.

Three reps is perfectly fine on a MWD Scimitar. A small faction smartbomb is perfectly fine on the logi anchor, and possibly one backup anchor, for AB Scimitars.

The majority of PL logi crew agrees on that, but there are some exceptions. That is fine, as long as you know what you are doing.

Tengus dont need that much sustained rep, incoming damage is lower due to small sig and higher resistances. Brick tank on scimi is worthless only in case if you cant get enough logis in fleet, but is fine for 30+ logis - scimis would have at least 1 non-cycled rep to put on newly locked target immidiately.

TLDR: Makalu "never going to undock" Zarya and -A- refused to basically ever undock while goons were here, so goons left, -A- undocks, still loses repeatedly even when not outnumbered.

In sum, -A- is still shit, and the pain train rolls on.

Cast of characters: Test/Tribe/HBC, PL, -RZR-, FA (right?) stuck around and I think some other random individuals from CFC alliances who stayed. I believe the other CFC alliances have moved back north. Of course, the native fauna (delvegoons) have returned to their ancestral hunting grounds.

Alright so I just had a fight in 0TKF just now. My first shot at an AAR!

We went to go shit-slap onlining TCUs in that constellation, and -A- responded with a Drake Army.

After saving a tower in Period Basis, we took ~120 Drakes to Querious to interdict marauding hostiles. No fleets were up until we engaged the TCU and SBU. After about half an hour of forming, -A- and co brought a Drake Army of about equal number. Our fleet had more drakes, theirs had more logi and support. The brawl happened on the 3-F gate about 120km off. I was headshotted immediately (the first time they had a spy in comms~) and one of our bootcampers picked it up seamlessly. Their fleet was bubbled to dick and Hedliner brought in some Rokhs to play at the same time. Our FCs kept getting headshotted yet people kept stepping up. Eventually we whittled their DPS down enough and they bailed. As they split up and went home Hedliner dropped on them a second time apparently and killed more stragglers.

Aside from some blue-on-blue incidents the op was VERY fun, props on actually bringing a good fight. Next time Vik needs to be more Reddy for the pain the Honeybadgers can bring, even outside our primetime.

As most of the worst elements of MM migrated to -A-, the entire Northern Coalition was drinking the same coolaid up until 2011. It is really startling to see the parallels between my own experiences in MM and what I know see from the outside looking in that is going on in -A-.
