Apparently not, it took (forgot who they were playing already was it exodus?) who ever they were playing until the last 2 minutes to figure out that the Basilisk was a bait.

it is pretty funny to skim over some of the Eve-o threads and see how many people were complaining, Personally I think it was a great addition, it's making people think more in terms of DPS instead of the full ECM setups we saw before.

I would have preferred to have seen it as a armor item. Shield ships are way better in small groups already. Giving them another item seems kinda stupid to me. Still the item in its self has been proven to be really really interesting and the setups that can be used on tranq are really fun to fly.

Well, imo it's actually not strictly speaking bait (as in "expendable bullet magnet") as it really did serve an important role with cap xfers.

If you manage to take it out of the equation (with ECM being the most likely method to do so considering the rep amount the T3 subs can put out) the Tengu would cap out ridiculously fast (IIRC as it's been quite a while since I played around with that sub in EFT).
The Basi's cap swap buddy (probably the Bhaalgorn) would be able to keep it up for a bit, but not indefinitely without the cap generation. Might be you could put a cap booster on it just for that reason to keep it up longer in case of an ohshit~ moment, though, but with a shieldtank it's already quite low on mids.

Also, nice torp widow setup PL.

Yeah I kinda expected Hun to bring the same team and just adjust it to work around the widow team. Which they did. And then slam them with something completely different which they wouldn't expect. Especially with the widow team already being revealed.
