So did the fleet collapse because Jogyn got owned, or did that happen later? Looks like Elise could've taken the helm if that were the case.
Killing a mothership is not news any more, but killing 8 PL Tengus causes premature ejaculation
Wait Jogyn lost a fleet. That's a first.

The volume of smugposting observed in any given Kugu thread can be measured with the Keller Formula:
Smugposts by Entity X = [(Smugness of (Entity Y) on (current page - 2)) x (ISK lost by (Entity Y) on current page)] / ISK lost by (Entity X) on current page

Progod got high on pubbie swagger and lost some ships to epic slowcat fleet. Of course we all blame zealot for taunting PL to bring them in local![]()
ah shit wrong thread
The thread had been quiet as not much had been going on, and since everything has kind of settled down figure I'd make a quick post to atleast show that people were still undocking and pewing occasionally in Delve.
Edit: Also, PL dropped 60 slowcat carriers on our 150 man Alpha fleet right as we were finishing the last Ihub off just now. We got the Ihub into RF, then tried to fight the carriers to see how we could do and then we were going to play it from ear there.
A few BS died and I wasn't sure if we could tank or not, but I was skeptical towards my pilots bitching about the volley, and told them to stop sucking. Then I saw Elise yellow box me with his proteus. "Fine" I thought to myself, all 18 of our scimitars already have me prelocked, I then announced on comms to ours scimmys to watch me as I was about to be primaried. Elise's box went from yellow to red, my client jolted for a second or two, and then I saw the Insurance mail.

Quite a few scimmys mentioned that they got a rep cycle off but it didn't keep the second volley from quickly finishing me off. Whelp.
At that point we figured time to leave.
Teh slowcats are nice, here's br:

So, been shitbusy with 10-14hours work days so not in the loop and this tread kinda died, so:
- RA has moved staging to where? Q?
- Neut/blue to south?
- Done or just tactical retreat?
- Testies coming to play?
- PL stuck in npc space?
- Battle of fountain drinks?

Never apologize for posting content, even if it's small. If every BR style post had to center around massive battles with kills numbering in the tens of billions, titans exploding, etc. then this place would be pretty boring most days of the week.
You're gonna need to move up to some ridiculous tank T3 command ships. What was your speed / prop mod status when they nailed you?
Propagandas post or do you have really bad scouts?

[22:38] <@Jogyn> haha how come im getting the blame for this
[22:39] <@Jogyn> i was just chillin counting wrecks, still havent lost a fleet
[22:39] <BlueMajere> Jogyn:
[22:39] <BlueMajere> why u give your 5 tech moons to shigsy?
Kind of a long day in Delve. Since RA decided not to show up because the concept of timing for DT confuses and amazes them, we decided to see if we could make waves. Nulli had ~130 in fleet with 12 Huggins, so we formed 2STRONG Tengus with the plan of trading Tengus for Huginns and running amok. Unfortunately we had 35 Tengus, which is basically the bare minimum, and mistakes were made. Couldn't break shit, lost 2 Tengus but was holding on with the reps just barely after links went active, so decided to peace out. Peace out maneuver failed and 5 Tengus got stuck and died.
A MORNING OF :SMITH:
Nulli formed again with 180 in fleet this time, so conventional fleet was out of the question for us. We formed Herocats, since Nulli had carelessly dropped some Supers, and Bombers with the intentions of making life difficult for the Nulli. And so we did. What should have been an easy 20 minute op took two hours. We watched in glee as squads would jump in, warp to perches, orbit 30 - for a 180 man fleet. Although we weren't setup in the next system, we bridged there anyway and bluffed our way to hilarity.
By now we had enough numbers to actually fight, so we switched into Slow Cats (since Nulli were kind enough to ask for them), and went in to seek glory. We tried some dangerzone bait maneuvers to keep the Nullis interested; they involved warping, so I figured drone DPS would be slow to come. Maels were tanking fairly well, so I went for Progod's Vulture to space-juke the scimies. The space-juke worked all too well and Progod died with the quickness and the fleet left. Was sad times.
True, I have raped history, but it has produced some beautiful offspring
Since your tengu's didn't kill shit except a few dictors that they didn't all get on, it just appears like you didn't have 80-90 in fleet. Scout said 60, it was probably more like 50~~. I know I had at least two overview scrolls full and I have my overview setup to show 20 at a time.
I now have more tech than all the southern alliances combined![]()
Admittedly I did forget to take the painter off from earlier that morning, but honestly most I could have done was add 60k more ehp, would have been close for sure, but I had more ehp than our maelstroms did, so even if I did tank, they would have just switched backed to maelstroms and pop pop popped, I think the first bs that Elise shot that ended up tanking, were just because their drones weren't all fully setup yet.
The only reason PL is losing ~some tengus~ is because we are missing our TEST Alliance backbone.
We are here.. we sacrificed bombers....
Attachment 2833
Why test? Nulli + BL supcaps + PL Supers could sure make things interesting in game. Evil Empire should be created.
We like to shit in people's cheerios and ruin their little three ways.
There's nothing worse than having a good idea for a post not being good enough to pull it off :negative:
Well why not, Waffle Battle Report for a few days back....
Battle of HM-XR2
The Glorious waffle bombing teams set up, gathering deep in the recesses of the region known as delve, they silently waited for their overlords to bid them entrance to the target. At first we were not told of what we would be doing.... only that good fites and killmails might be received for the various medical services we were about to administer to the unwitting residents of delve. Stealthily the mighty waffle conveyance uncloaked... and seagulls to small unguarded fish, dozens of waffle bombers uncloaked and were flung light years across the region into the unknown.
In a raspy but soothing voice, the overlord of the young waffles began to direct them... but before they could turn the fires of their loins upon the enemy, a fearsome S2N bomb group uncloaked, and removed their initial target from the field.... all the waffles could do was watch in despair as thirty tornado's vanished from the field. But with the battle now fully engaged between the Red tide and the Praetorian fleet of Nulli Secunda... the waffles set about trying to catch a bomb advantage on what they believed to be a weaker Nulli Battleship fleet.... things went smoothly on the runs, but the excellent Velites of Nulli began to take their tole on the waffle numbers... picking off 2-3 every run.... eventually a Nulli Battleship was caught alone, and mercilessly cut to pieces by the Piranha like bombers..... meanwhile back on the field, their PL overlord had finally found a perfect grouping.... and as soon as the waffles had returned, he sent them one last time into the breach.... but as they landed... disaster struck, for though their bombs flew true, and over a half dozen Battleships vanished in a blaze of emp burst.... many waffle bombers vanished as well... or were snatched by the waiting Velites. A sad fate indeed
______________________________________
Bonus: Slowcats are better then bombers....
Waffles Bridge into JP4.... Nulli tries some sort of "lets use a recon as bait to kill bombers" lose it to a couple of waffle heroes with torpedos from 50km....
Then one loan idiot decides it would be a great idea to sit on a gate uncloaked for 15 minutes..... nearly dies... but be some idiotic miracle survives.... Waffles proceed to make the worst bombing runs in the history of EVE... though in fairness, it was the first time the guy was FCing.... we manage to trade 6 bombers for 1 crow and 1 fed navy comet.... As I managed to once again kill myself with bombs....
Tengus don't fare well against alphafleet with like 15 huginns to support.
Tengus never been cost effective while fighting outnumbered. Thats why tengus are shit.
They are quite effective, even when fighting outnumbered - it's been shown multiple times. The Huginns neutralize the benefit.
Maels with a healthy dose of Huginns are nearly a catch all fleet at the moment. There are a few prospects as a counter but who knows if that will pan out or die in a ball of flames.
bombers and dicking around on titans for too long are the quick death of mael fleets.
People are like slinkies. Generally useless but entertaining when you push them down stairs.
Tengus are great when someone else is running interference for you.
S2N also had reasonable success vs. Tengus while in Geminate, admittedly more to a combination of fortuitous hostile fuckups and ensuing good exploitation of presented opportunities than any sublime anti-Tengu fleet builds. They're not an unknown enemy. Anyway, even if Nulli did not have practical experience in fighting them, they'd be stupid to not theorize contingencies against Tengus considering the popularity of the doctrine. It helps that "lots of Huginns or Lokis depending on the fleet type" is an easy patch.
Yeah, we (St0ven) had quite simillar experience when we were helping RL in PB. Got a bit too close to carrier-reped huggins and got few tengus alpha'ed.
by 80 or so maels.
