Saw that on 9gag this morning decided not to post it :P
In content-related news, Vily dropped 80 drakes on unsupported RDN carriers repping an Initiative POS in Z-K495.
Three RDN carriers died because they did not have the password to their elite mercenary's POS.
Twenty minutes later, assorted titans and subcaps cyno'd / bridged onto the POS,
Attachment 2527
was spotted in local as we moonwalked out of system.
We may have also used this one as well:
Attachment 2528
A logical and fair escalation. Drakes are, after all, overpowered, and in dire need of a nerf.
My important, vital and needlessly argumentative opinion is.......... I'm joking!
It does indeed sound like a derp with the carriers, but at least they were only Raiden's and not ours.
I don't think any Init poses are passworded though, as far as I know they are all Init only. Even us Init Merc scrubs can't get in.
POSes are for fags.
Know let me in.
Well almost correct this time.
What ship opened the cyno? Oh thats right. The rdn carrier comming out from force field.
You are correct about number of dead carriers so at least you should have some credit. The reason they died is cause of shit-bad scouting. Some people still think you can roll around with some shield rep carriers without a care in the world. The FC simply did not see them comming and by the time they began shooting on RDN most of Init where inside shield.
Rage ping went out and we had a descent response fleet rolling and repped rest of 4 tech towers comming out of reinforced. Think the FC's learned the hard way on keeping scouts awake this time.
Good thing you keep them on their toes.![]()
The fuck does it matter what ship lit the cyno?
I've noticed that there's a pretty big disconnect between the general consensus of kugu and what's actually happening. It seems enough people have said it in this thread that people are taking it as fact.
I dunno, I'm just going with it. Sperging because I didn't include every last minutiae like the alliance of the nidhoggur that cyno'd in the RDN reinforcements is some kind of... well.. it's not really a low... but a new direction of sperging that has been previously unseen.
I mean I guess I could also relay the two minute mumble convo where we were like, "hey look at that nidhoggur heading for the shields. I wonder what he's going to do?" "I don't know pinky, what do RDN cyno carriers always do?" And then Vily is like "Pull your drones, gayness incoming." Right on cue, cyno up, supers/subcaps, we warp out and back to VFK. No losses.
It's because you suggested that Raiden didn't have the pw, when they obviously must have had it since it was a raiden guy who exited the shields and lit the cyno.
Hope that clears everything up for everyone.
:spaceforumpeacemaker:
explain the dead carriers
To be fair, I meant that the carriers which died didn't have the PW, mainly because I saw one bounce off of the shields from the seat of MY BROADSWORD and also by statements from our FC. I guess to be perfectly clear, there were other carriers on grid which made it into the POS and promptly jumped out - other than the afore-mentioned cyno nidhoggur.
The mood from VFK was frantic excitement, as we listened to Vily's voice rise octave by octave, whipping us forward to greater and greater speed to our bridging Titan. When we reached approximately 80 ships on grid, Vily's choice was to suffer a stroke because of his now squeaky mouse voice or bridge. We bridged then got a top a TEST titan (I KNOW, I WAS SHOCKED TOO!), who then SUCCESSFULLY BRIDGED US on top of the bad dudes. Yeah, so TEST in a titan AND he knew what the buttons did. Once we bridged, we go into my already stated narrative.
Is that better?
The OP to this discussion said the three carriers died because they didn't have the pw to the POS, they very well might not have put it in/noticed fleet chat/been awake enough to operate a capital vessel.
It still matters fuck all and Gordon is grasping at straws to try shining a spotlight on ~goon propoganda~.
3 RDN carriers died repping a POS that will be put in RF tomorrow. #iskwar
