Moving op was scheduled for 18:00, most people had gotten in fleet and were waiting spinning ships in station for about 20 minutes. ROL BS gang of around 40+ had been reported in the area earlier.
At some point, we suddenly get told to undock and jump to a cyno and on arrival realise we were c. 20km off a Razr pos, engaging a few ROL caps/bs gang.
Situation smelled like obvious bait but FC orders to go siege green, people start shooting semi-random targets (we fait at shooting primary) and new cyno goes up with the "unexpected" 2nd wave of ROL caps.
At that point, people are told to go siege red and basically take it up like men and wait for the opportunity to jump out. Only reason we did not lose the whole fleet was that fight took place in low-sec
tl;dr: we did not get ganked while moving but FC willingly jumped into obvious bait situation. Not sure which one is worst

Jesus christ, NC's been hot dropped like three days running.
A minor correction to Alex's latest update. PL took the Prom moon in x-7 the previous day. That fight resulted in 11 NC dead caps along with about 200 PL and NC BS and support. NC did the hot drop that night.
Last night's fight started with the NC destroying one POS and reinforcing the (now PL owned) Prom Moon POS in x-7. It ended with alot of dead stuff at the 4-3 station.
It took me like 8 minutes to kill this fuckerstop whoring on dreads and shoot support like he told you

i'm assuming IRC is currently in membership/space limbo, with not enough members to do anything nor does it have any clout in any major alliance to become a pet/get free space to reform.
IRC died when Oldma ran that poorly fitted ship to it's death with billions in BPO's. The irony is that RA/Goons, et all, chose the WRONG alliance to pressure when they decided to break the cease fire, by attacking ED. ED didn't break when they took systems in the Loop, nor when they took the whole Loop, and fought their way back to reconquer almost all of it again. The failure happened when IRC collapsed literally in 36 hours when the supposedly unconquerable SLYP-5 constellation was hit.
Had they hit IRC instead of ED, it would have been over in 2 weeks instead of 3+ months.
Sounds like belated begging for a quick death to me. And I'm pretty sure that at least the NC alliances that initially came for you were quite contend it wasn't over after 2 weeks already. In fact, it would've been over shortly after ME took ED's Vale outpost. (Cease fire started on 03/26, RA came for you on the 30th and ME shot ED-POSes in LS-JEP on 04/11). Except that's what 0.0 is now. Just a string of singular encounters that rarely have any real impact on the sovereignty map. If you don't like people talking about those, then there won't be much to report outside of whatever Atlas is doing in Scalding Pass. Goshee (leader of the Compass) has been confirmed for lying about having a wife; a house; and a job. turns out he's 33 years old (almost 20 years older than me hes a fosil rofl!!!) and still lives at mom's! Mad props 2 our Compass spy for getting that intel!!!! News of this shocked yors truely at first, but the pieces started fitting together. No woman would allow her husband to take out a Cash Mart loan to buy plex to fight broski and hire mercs(this is ture i'm not troling he's admitted to it); nor would any woman live with a man who believes mercenary contracts are a form of griefing (in an upcomeing ventrilo recording release).
Other funny news from the broski-compass war is that the Compass actually remember to update their clones now, after 2 pilots losing Caldari BS V happened last war (broski has 1 player in entire corp with battleship v lolol), and one of the pod losers was their alliance leader himself, who podded himself in emoness after we killed his missioning Golem ( he didnt no wat killrights were roflrofl!). Broski pvp warlord and british dude goifensedes had this to say: "We did a real good job on locking their pods with AF's, and there's a certain satisfaction knowing that you just blew up a head full of implants" he said some other stuff but i got bored.
We also campedd in the entire alliance with 4 broskis in 2ishkur/brutix/eagle and 4 blues (1 moros n 3 sniper hacs) and they had 20+ in station rofl! Also we reinforced their pos but that was boring so i didn't log on for that op and played some ODST with my brother. Master cheif in that game is kinda younger the stories wierd but i usually play linkin park off my ipod when its connected 2 my 360.

Yeah, I've made a point of reporting whenever a corp leaves them to prove taht if you live in Empire having a big alliance serves no purpose other than acting as a convenient way to get war decced more often. Glad to see that I am right.

R64 and also destroyed a few random Mostly Harmless capital ships. Also Viper is still pretending to not work with the various smaller local entities in the area (Ev0ke, Huzzah, etc.)

Legion of xEATHXx have lost their sovereignty in 1V- so I guess that was just a bit of an accident. The Initiative. have gained sov in one of the stations that it was rumored that Cult of War wanted. The parts of the rumor that contained CoW being in the alliance seem significantly more true though as they teamed up with Against All Authorities to kill a number of coalition capitals at a CoW R64 moon today.

I have a feeling that this is MH intentionally trying to cut their numbers down to a more manageable size but really I have no clue.
Two corps, with about 150 members between them, have joined Atropos. This brings DAMN's numbers up to 1050. Still listed as Morsus Mihi pets on the Trib. list though. Well at least I assume they are since I have been told that. Morsus-Mihi's old website has been brought by an advertising agency and is currently trying to sell me isk so I can't actually check to find out at this time.
Reikoku have, unsurprisingly, joined IT Alliance bringing it up to 8 corps and 1800 members.

Rebellion Alliance (a 1000 member Red Alliance splinter that lives in Querious,) has had a few joiners and quitters coming out of the past two days about even numberwise but I assume stronger in actual practice.
A1ONE Inc. and Red Assault Brigades, having left EROR. last update, have found their way into RED.Overlord. Now that it has 900 members R.O is starting to look more like a real alliance and less like Eve's version of Chelsea.
It Burns when I PVP, a very small corp with a very respectable alliance history has switched from The Klingons to Systemic-Chaos. No clue if they are just an alt corp if they only recently cascaded down to 5 members or what.
DEFI4NT's leadership have gone on vacation (not to fanfest, no, they are far too normal for that) and are leaving the alliance to sort itself out in the middle of their big move-in/fight against Pandemic Legion.
Vertigo Coalition is having some trouble moving into their new home (in Syndicate0 as well.
Maru'kage, a shitty alliance I have until now not mentioned even once on account of how terrible they are, suck.

A number of game changes have been announced and many more are sure to follow in the upcoming few days but I generally won't be covering them as my actual knowledge of game mechanics is quite limited. Expect SDF and DUST (the kugutsumen.com subforums, not the other things that have those acronyms) to go into overdrive over the course of the week so if you only ever read my updates I reccomend taking a little time to look at the rest of the site this week as it will contain information that I AM NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT. Not to say that there will be no fanfest news but I only plan on talking about the stuff that looks like it will have a major effect on 0.0 warfare or the game in general.
Also our maybe temporary/maybe permanent special alliance information subforum is now open for posting so if you are a alliance executor/corp CEO/fleet commander/ other important person who wants to start a good thread on your own alliance please do so now.

While it's true that Atropos swallowed up a lot of ex-IRC/Aggro I'd disagree that 5n4keyes = atropos nor playing the leading tone. Atropos is Marquie-X's alliance and from what I heard they are not giving the exec out of hand.

As someone with Russian heritage and emotional attachment to RA, it pains me to see the alliance go. Having said that, I really do wish, hope and pray every night before I go to bed, that they die ASAP in a horrible dramatic manner.

They were all major fcs, but when thug left ra were still a major force. Once mactep left ra went into a major decline by only having nync left.

And while I'm at it, I gotta mention that Daira Lir is a very competent manager - perhaps not the most inspiring figure, but definitely knows his game.
I can't help but wonder what would RA be if the coup was successful.
It would be Error with a new name and Warriors Tribe as members. Or in other words dead. R.O might have took the name back over after Zero. left and the remaining corps went south so in that way the alliance could have remained but other than that it certainly wouldn't be a strong political force.
