Default EVE Online Account Services Upgrade

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the services we offer to the EVE community, we are pleased to annonunce that Account Services -including Character Transfers and Character Portrait Swaps- have been upgraded and are now accepting the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Carte Bleue, Visa Electron and Visa Delta.
Secure ETC trading has also been implemented, now players can trade ETC for ISK with Instant ETC activation. The FAQ and Player Guide will be updated with information on these changes in the near future. However, you can read more about the changes in this forum post.
Further improvements will be made to Account Services in the future.

Moron alert... This probably cost them more money to do, simply stopping gtc scams and closing the stupid petitions.

Actually this is a good thing, it cuts down on scams and brings other things that have to do with wallets and cash exchanges a lot closer. Because if they did this, it means they can probably tinker together an API to do micropayments from external websites using ISK.

Something I asked for in 2003, mind you...

Look at it from CCP's point of view, they just unloaded a metric fuckton of petitions from their queues. GTC scammers suck the mighty beefdart, and they just got castrated.
