That fight was mostly down to the logi. PL brought 13 Guardians, and DBRB's fleet had 4 scimis. We knew it would be trouble as soon as we heard your fleet comp, but hoped we'd have enough alpha to 1-shot guardians before they could get reps. A few more Maels might have even done it, too, but didn't quite have enough alpha to get over the 1-shot hump, and the pure mass of guardians were able to rep things up before the second salvo.

that would maybe be true if you were shooting guardians, but you spent most of the fight shooting at zealots, and then other zealots, a 300k ehp proteus, and then trickily switching back to the first zealot.
Of course the fact that we knew who was being called primary + secondary kind of made our guardian's work a little easier.
Maybe FCs should order that 5 guardians get locked up and then randomly select one to be alpha'd?

Stop trolling. I'm going to white knight my hon buddy DBRB here and say he couldn't do much against our tactics, and it was right for him to run away and lose half his fleet instead of the whole fleet. The alpha fleet doctrine is pretty sucky and easily countered in lag free situations.
Compared to the average NC sub-cap fleet, I'd say DBRB did rather well.

Shooting POS modules from inside the POS shield is the one I saw personally. Cyno'ing inside the POS shield is a new one to me as well (I'm newer than most people here). And there is a clip in Elecktra's new vid of someone getting shot while inside the shield. This was during a fight where I swore up and down it didn't actually happen and everyone who got popped was legitimately bumped outside the shield. Apparently I was wrong.

I think this is where the misunderstanding is. I was referring to the WTZ autopilot (which I consider minor league) not botting. Not flying in Cobra2K (and another FC, don't know his name, only his voice) fleets spared me most of this. Between this and his raging at the fleet, I realized my time could be more productively spend farming Guristas.
I would say it's an unfair comparison because "Ireland" in this case has a comparable number of "nukes" (supers). And far more active in the USTZ. As for cyno inside shields, I can confirm everyone around EVE does it and as a funny fact, I actually didnt see it in PL so far (but its possible, thats without a doubt and I bet someone uses it).
As for getting shot inside shields, blame eve. I got killed in middle of pos several times, kinda surprised it never happened to you.
