Did you ever expect that goons would do this well against bob? Disregard all the 'planned to have the galaxy attacking us' crap and just say, straight up, Did you expect goons to be able to push you back into one region and nearly take that region.

In my opinion if CCP hadn't dropped the ball with t20 I don't think you would have pushed the rest of the cluster in to such a frenzy, nor had as much success so quickly. That being said, kudos for actually taking advantage of it and taking the hand of friendship offered by RA - that pairing was one that we always thought would cause problems and we were eventually proved right in that prediction. Of course I am now obligated to say that it wasn't just the goons that did it, but then much in eve is rarely "just" anybody.

As for the MC comment, well, if, but, maybe, perhaps, whatever, I'm just gonna say no, we don't know "damn well" what would have happened, because there are very few outside of BoB (and even INSIDE of BoB) that thought we'd hold against the forces against us excluding MC anyway.

We never ever knew that t20 had cheated. Yes, we knew we had dev's in our alliance and we often spent many hours bug hunting with them but we never, ever, abused that position. If we had known that t20 had cheated we would have been the first to blow the whistle. I certainly don't see anything wrong with dev's playing eve in player corporations - in fact I wish more of them did so, perhaps then some awful game design decisions would never have been made.

Yep, we certainly weren't the only ones hit, you guys got done first iirc. I believe that Lallante has been blamed for this intial infiltration (who quite amusingly is now in RKK, but I've never seen any proof of it, so meh).

I don't recall the specifics except that Lallante had paid kugu for information that outed a bunch of our spies. All of that's hearsay and I have the memory of a goldfish.

I'm going to take the benefit of the doubt and assume Lallante didn't realize kugu would hack people's forums to get the information he wanted, otherwise hating on kugu and not Lallante seems ridiculous.

Without Kugs I would never have found out that t20 had cheated.

Without Kugs I would have never spent an entire xmas trying to placate members of my corp that had to spend their festive period trying to un**** what kugs did.

When given the choice I would much rather sacrifice the former so I could avoid the latter.

On top of which, CCP don't need to give reasons - it's their game, they can (and state they can in the eula) withold rights to play for whatever reason they choose.
