I notice someone has ripped that sig off and replaced the Reikoku symbol with the mighty Bee and is now using it as "Stand Against Retards" or something similar. Notably, it hasn't been nerfed.

All sigs would get nerfed if they are over 24000bytes in size. (Eve-o forum rules)
Making it 39K in size just makes it easier for the mods to nerf it.

There are various reasons why you signature graphic was removed. The first
one is because the term "mullacaust" has been deemed extremely offensive and
in bad taste, since it is very similar to the term "Holocaust" - the mass
genocide of people of the Jewish faith and other ethnic origins during the
National Socialist Regime in Germany in World War II. It also contains the
word "Mulla(h)" which is the term for an islamic religious cleric. Clearly,
a combination of both of these terms can be interpreted by some to be
extremely offensive.
I am sorry, howevever you will not be able to continue to use this signature
graphic on the forums.

Wrong, mulla is the name of a character mulla nasrudin, feel free to look him up if you like. The signature is made in support of him and nothing to do with "THE" holocaust. Notice how absolutely no "mullacaust" signatures make any reference to germany, jews, or anything relating to world war II. this is intentional. please reconsider this.

Heck, I'm European, partly jewish even, and plenty of my extended family never came back from WWII -- the whole Mullacaust thing doesn't offend me in the slightest, so really... *shrug* they just need an excuse to get rid of the BoB bashing.

but what i can't figure out is why they find that offensive. I have two names that are very offensive to me. I evengave reason, but they don't seem to care. discrimination of people and religion goes two ways.
A lot of people care less about the word's meaning/definition than they do about the thing the word conjures up in their mind. If you say holocaust, they think Hitler. If you say rape, they think forced sexual encounters. If you say something was a crippling event, they think wheelchair.
Gotta deal with it. Total crap on CCP but here they're really trying to save their hides more than to protect others.
