Good choice in target. D2 and friends have proven too strong for BoBs liking, that's not to say BoB can't beat them, just that more carebears turned up with guns than expected. MM particularly have bloodied MCs nose.
Goonswarm may have committed to come to D2s aid, I'd be interested to see if D2 rush to goonswarms aid.

BoB can't allow RAGOON to capture and fortify LV's space. They have to step in now or else when that section is consolidated, they're going to be far, far tougher than the North and BoB will never dislodge them.

Now, what will D2 and the gang do? They really hold the balance of power here. Power is useless if you're afraid to use it. Let BoB get embroiled in the conflict and then blitz FIX and MC aside, and start popping Bobbits.

Honestly I don't know whether BoB+LV will win or lose. However, I hope this conflict finally destroys BoB's "we are untouchable and unbeatable" reputation they have conjured up for themselves. RAGOON might go down in flames but they will not leave BoB unscathed.

If they fend us off, they can shake the scary stick and say, "You woulda been fucked without us. Molle looked at what was going on with the Southern Coalition and LV, together with MC having a much harder time with Morsus Mihi than expected.

The coalition has grown into a giant powerhouse and right now if BoB attacks they'll get help from LV. If they wait until LV is gone there won't be any help against the coalition. The chances of defeating the coalition are shrinking on a daily basis.

They waited until MC finally managed to get the attention from the North before making their move and are hoping that the North isn't just going to ignore MC in order to help take down BoB.

That's why MC started attacking POSses, in order to get attention since they were largely ignored by most of the North.

BoB leadership is realizing that they have not made any friends and how much their meta gaming is dispised. While it worked to break ASCN's will pretty quickly, they know it won't work on goons or BE, and the Russians and French don't care.

Hopefully the North will be smart enough to ignore the forums. We'll see.

My tips: Ignore the motherships and titans and take out ships you know you can take down quickly. While they are big ships and can turn the tide of a battle, they can't do too much if there's no fleet left to support.

If they're going to attack the North instead of the coalition, LV will be soon gone and I'm fairly certain that the coalition would come assist up north.

It has been a pretty good fight, I'd hardly call it getting 'smacked around'. Also, facing 2-3.5:1 odds... even if your opponent is pretty terrible the fight is going to be quite interesting.
