I guess my point is that the "proof" that everyone is pointing to is actually kind of lame. Yes, obviously, someone bought a character for real money. Wrong? For sure and if repercussions are taken for that then he got what he deserved. Yes, a ccp employee was a member of BoB and had some BPO's. Wrong? As long as he got them in the lottery or by the more likely scenario, he bought some of them, I dont think it is wrong. All major alliances have benefitted from a ccp employee I would imagine. If he got those BPO's by cheating, BoB should have to give them up and if the BoB leadership knew he cheated to get them they should be punished as well. However, as has been posted many times before, the only conclusion that would have been acceptable would have been to say he cheated even if he didnt. The rest of the drivel that comes from all the BoB haters out there is simply hilarious. I have read too many people say "I'm quitting this stupid game! A friends aunt was watching her son's friend's girlfriend play eve and she saw BoB move 75 jumps in 30 seconds." That kind of stuff is silly and thus far there has been no proof at all of it. Hell, I havent even seen someone produce a screeny/fraps of the shooting inside the shields thing. You would think since "hundreds of people have it on their hard drive" it would be widely available. Give CCP the benefit of the doubt that they are doing their job until someone has ACTUAL proof of wrongdoing/covering up by them.

Perhaps what I am trying to say is that you guys that hate BoB so much should stop talking about the reasons you hate them and do something about it. Jealousy is a funny thing and ultimately 90% of the BoB bashers are guilty of being jealous of what BoB has accomplished and their (so far) lack of ability or will to do what it takes to stop them.

The thing is, i dont really hate BoB, the quote i gave was more to point out that no good would come of using TS/forum/eve-o propaganda.
Alliances rise and fall all the time, it was ASCN's time to go. But the way in which it happened set a new standard for alliance warfare, it would only escalate into even lower ways to "weaken" your opponent.

I honestly dont know how CCP should handle this, offcourse deleting every post about it is bad, as is banning anyone that voices his concern.
I just hope that alliance leaders will rule in the interest of fairness to all (most of all the game itself) and just win by superior tactics, outsmarting and generaly being better organized.

One thing CCP could do is have every alliance directorship operating in 0.0 promise by eve-mail to the dev's that they will never use out-of-game advantages to fight a war. There is offcourse no way to "proof" any wrongdoing but honor should count for something when your fighting a pvp game. And i think there is hardly any honor left in EVE, it is win by any means right now.

Hmmm...what was the name of the guy talking over the FC? When did this take place? Was he kicked immediately? Did ANYONE get a name? I think, then, the issue of "who started it" would matter. Ie: Did ASCN resort to infiltrating BoB's forums in response to BoB infiltrating theirs first? I don't really know but my hunch would be BoB initiated this kind of thing during the BoB/ASCN war, not the other way around.

one time we found an ascn pos that had no password so half our gang entered it, and there was a hositle megathron inside. a corpmate found that his(normal fitting) raven was able to target the mega from outside the pos shields, but all our tacklers were inside the bubble and he warped off

omfg I just seen that video. Im in CA atm and Xirt told me it did happen and I beleived him but he could never find the video to proove what they had done. Shame you cant post 3rd party links in EVE forums anymore.

It saddens me to hear Xirt like that specially as ive been fighting by his side for the past 3 weeks now.

It just shows how low BOB will go. Has this exploit even been removed yet?

Yeah. CCP Realeased a lame ass blog which said that if you dont have a password on a POS then anyone not in your corporation can be targetted even inside a POS shield. This is an unannounced ferature of the game.

Not only is this compleate horse manure, it dosent explain all the wierd shit thats been reported.
