Since the beginning, INCOV has being doing everything within its power to help this alliance. We have 3 out of the 4 strat fcs, we run alliance logistics, the alliance moon goo project (most of it), ship replacement program, and the list goes on. During this time we have given input, but never wanted exec. We were VERY ANIMATED that we wanted Trig as our exec.

However, the leadership has failed to estabilsh credibility. CDIAT roams with reds (to everyones dissatisfaction), alliance mail gets spammed and not punished. FWIFFO was brought in directly by triget and was a front runner to replace grim as military director (trig told me himself in jabber). 8 corps bring 66% to fleets, while 40 others bring 33%. We are a free renting alliance, basically. HOWEVER, we were in it for the long run.

But our hand was forced. SCTY left, others are on the brink. 2 Tone (squee's exec) convo'd me asking if tribe was in a fail cascade because he was getting a shit ton of requests to join (like scty, DG, ect).

So this is why we are taking this action. It isnt a hostile take over, but it is our only option. If we are removed, or forced to start our own alliance in Querious, we will. Relize after this, alliance logistics, JB's, FCs, and Ship replacement program is gone till trig can find others to replace these projects. And do you think he will find people that takes the necessary 100s of hours to make this work? Idk.

I have worked my ass off making this alliance work to the best of my ability. And this is something we havent entered into lightly.

Some tidbits of intel we've been getting for the last few hours.

Tonight's officer meeting started at 01:00, still ongoing, Grim began with a written speech about some sort of coup he had been planning since the night before and had tried garnering the support of many corporations throughout the day to take dictator role of the alliance. Infighting between all corps and their officers are being thrown around officer jabber, general jabber, alliance chat, and alliance mails.

At the same time nearly every corp that hadn't been evaccing assets in the last two weeks is scrambling to take their towers down in the last couple of hours. Reports from TRIBE officers currently in the meeting can only be described as "a clusterfuck" and there are apparently "committees" being formed between various corps and officers to figure out how to salvage whatever they can from the incredible implosion.

Earlier this week Disturbed Gamers and Steel City promptly ragequit the alliance over drama related to "the pizzas" and wheniaminspace, thus beginning the failscade.

So, its become apparent that there has been some misinformation flying around lately, specifically proliferated by Infinite Covenant. The topic? TRIBEs position within the HBC and our main benefactor, TEST alliance. There have been suggestions that they are so displeased with our leadership that they are requesting that we restructure or even divide into 2 alliances, yet this is not the case! It has also been falsely claimed that in the unlikely event that we did split into 2 entities, that TEST will reset TRIBE and that the new alliance will be provided with space. Today I have spoken with Montolio with regards to these suggestions and Iâ€™ve been assured that it is wholly untrue. TEST has not requested that we restructure our leadership and they hope that we can resolve any issues we have and maintain the status quo in Period Basis. "Montolio: I'm not ggoing to reset anyone" However, Iâ€™m not so foolish to see that there are concerns about leadership. It was apparent from the outset that TEST did not exactly approve of our proposed triarchy leadership structure. They suggested that multiple leaders would doom the alliance to failure and that we should consider a dictatorship instead. The problem was that we were merging 2 alliances the 99% and TASHA and this scenario would have been unpalatable to both alliances. Instead, we created a triarchy which was a compromise where we would make decisions based on 3 votes, a sound model in general as long as the 3 people are available. Recently, however, one of the execs, KageNoTenshi, due to real life issues, has been unable to participate in decision making and as such our model has floundered. For this reason I am willing to step down from my position and vote in a dictator in order increase the effectiveness of the alliance leadership. Yet, I am not willing to cede my role of exec to Grimbold who has attempted a coup using misleading and false information. TEST maintains the support of TRIBE and we will continue to hold period basis with or without the assistance of Grimbold Dengrist and/or Infinite Covenant. If we chose to divide into 2 alliances neither entity will hold Period Basis. This has been confirmed! Aura

Part of what Aura says is correct, TEST will not reset us arbitrarily. However they do believe based on previous experience and their interactions with us that we are heading for failure. They want to see us succeed, but don't have much faith in the current leadership. I am sure you all see this as well as I do. If we do nothing we will ultimately fail, and I will not sit still and let that happen. TEST will not backstab us, that is a certainty. But ignoring our problems and focusing solely on that will only lead us to failure.

So it seems Grim is trying to start an old-fashioned coup. He's been unhappy, dissatisfied with our alliance full of scrubs, hisec rejects and pubbies for as long as the alliance has been around. With just about every corps that has come into alliance, he's said they were worthless, and that we should kick them immediately. He pushed for a comprehensive set of metrics to judge corps on. When I followed his lead and pushed hard for authentication, he backed away from it as the negative feedback began rolling in. Now, his frustrations with the pace of alliance development seem to have come to a head. While just yesterday, he was TRIBE4LIFE, ready to jump in and work with Tali and HR, today he wishes to gut the alliance of corps. He wishes to stage a coup, overthrow alliance leaders and set himself up as the alliance executive, or take as many corps as he can with him. Grim has continually misrepresented TEST and our place in the HBC to force his will. I assure everyone in the alliance that TEST's faith, and our space remains solid and safe. If any corp decides to leave the alliance, I will, as always, let them leave on good terms. I have never been spiteful about corps leaving, I understand when you want to take your corp in a different direction. Nonetheless, if Grim forms a new alliance, I will not blue it. There will be a meeting, called by Grim to talk about this at 0100, less than an hour after this mail. I will be there, and will let Grim say his piece. If anyone has issue with the alliance or its leaders, I as always welcome your input.

In keeping with my initial promise, we would have both of these groups as blue and leave them to resolve it in whatever way they wished - including fighting it out between each other.

A meeting was held today, a very long meeting with a lot of discussion. At the end of it some leadership figures have resigned, Triget has been established as dictator of the alliance (and has secured all assets), and the military has stood down from its coup - backing Triget in full it would seem. New directors have been put in place with the ability to

corporations.

The times ahead will be rocky - but TEST & HBC will stand with TRIBE-bros and let this develop however it needs. We are a community and I pledged initially that our renter income would be used for coalition purposes beyond TEST. We've kept to that by paying out 25b in rewardsfor our propaganda contest. We are looking for additional ways to put this money towards our greater community - part of that will be to help TRIBE. We will be sending 20b ISK to TRIBE, 1/2 of its current liquid ISK to assist with alliance operations and provide them with some relaxation money to build the alliance. In addition to this I am placing a blanket ban on recruiting TRIBE corporations into TEST or DAWWW until stated otherwise. Our diplomats will reach out to other HBC alliances asking them to halt any corporation recruitment from TRIBE within reason.

tl;dr Drama in TRIBE resulted in positive change, I have faith in them. Help them.

If other HBC alliances find a need for a one time grant of ISK for a special project or activity please meet with me in private to discuss it.
