-a- claims victory because they killed more rifters and lost half the tengus they should have lost. More at 6.
e: wait there's more https://kb.pleaseignore.com/?a=kill_...441&adjacent=1
e2: ecm tengus
Am I missing something? From their comms recording they were SO smug about that fight. The killboards I'm looking at shows a pretty decent thrashing. "We only lost 6 Tengus!" 18 on the board? They got more kills, but tons of them are frigate class or lower.
can we get alike smiley except for -a- being smug about getting their shit pushed in

-A- held the field, but they were in Tengus so they still lost or something.........
It was a TEST loss, but I mean, after winning the last 10, there had to be at least one.

dont forget to properly use your 100mn running away fit
If they didn't cling to the killboard gimmick, the only thing left would be to face reality. That they have been getting their shit pushed in as an alliance militarily, strategically, politically and philosophically all summer long by people they consider to be inferior scrubs.
i too miss the elevating philosophical discourses with the -a- elders. the forums are not the same anymore.
i did meet a few philosophical eve pilots, just like me most of them were pretty bad at this game, which spawned some mutual admiration. sadly most of them rejected me as a scholar, and my admiration quickly turned to destructive stalking..
last post before i am accused of spamming:
if i ever get in scram/web range with my scimi, me or the fleet did something wrong, and if i do get in such a situation one cycle of mwd is more likely to get me out of the rape zone than an afterburner. i never lived long enough in an ab scimi to tell you otherwise, but prolonged fights are not really my specialty.
a bait scimi with a shield booster would be the only exception that comes to my mind.
So -A- elite PvP-ers didn't even show up for a fight tonight. I thought they were a PvP alliance who cared only about fighting. I mean really, if it wasn't for Makakalu sitting in local I would have thought they didn't know it was even happening.
NOMAHN speaking truth up in here.
How refreshing.
I mean, even if it's a victory, it's not a very good one for -A-
They had superior numbers and (arguably) superior, or at least a more expensive, fleet setup. The fight was still kind of close when you look at number of kills and yes, they lost the ISK war.
We all know that the real battle takes place on eve-kill dot com.
So, as I saw nothing happened after TEST/PL/RZR retreated back to the forcefield in 49-, so here's my grunt POV br:
We were forming in 4-0 in our brand new ecm 100mn tengu format, fleet maxed out, we bridged to ge-, waited on a titan a bit, but I guess the future hotdropee didn't take the bait, so we headed back to the trenches to fight the Honeybadger alpha/rokhfleet. After the bridge in the system, we went to station to let some of our stucked guys out, and in 3-4 minutes we got a warpin on the enemy fleet on the 49- gate in 4-0.
We were zooming around the bs fleet, and (from a recon perspective) primaries went down pretty fast, so I guess the logis and huginns were jammed hard (can someone from the other side write about this?). I prepared for a lot of leeroying frigs and dictors, but nothing came closer then 60-70km, so the tengus killed was mainly due to pilot incompetence I guess. After fighting for like a half an hour, HB fleet deaggroed and jumped out to 49-. We followed suite, and managed to bubble a good chunk of the enemy fleet, but makalu was killed short after the jumpin, so there were 1 min confusion after the next guy stepped up (doing his job pretty well).
This time we finally managed to kill Wrik Hoover, and not long after the whole enemy fleet warped off, the only hero who came back to fight the evil hordes of shit was BlueMajere in his (soon proven not so) invincible rokh.
I can't comment on numbers, we had a full fleet, and bomber / antisupport fleet running, I guess the brdoc link is pretty accurate. It was a good fight in my book, hope to see more of these.
green thanks to philanthropy
IMHO the best bit of recent fights is that it's been very close a lot of the time. We win some and we lose some which is a great recipe for more fights.
I'm assuming PL could WTFdrop supers on lots of these engagements to turn them, so props for not doing that to breed more fights.
Hmmm, so TRIBE is killing a Carrier in some random wormhole (Wohoo?)
And then all of a sudden Ammzi pops in channel, with his voice changer... And then securitas pops in, and then finally Daley pops in....
Hilarity ensues etc etc.

(This is a good BR)
Good Br thanks.
This is pretty much how things went down, we had some trouble taking down tengus and had to switch to scimitars and targets of opportunity. Half of our fleet were Maels (RZR and some TEST) and RZR still runs a standard alphafleet fit so most Tengus were entirely out of their locking range severely reducing our total dps. The fight went a little better on the 49- side with Makalu and others dying as they decloaked. o7o7 Bluemajere lol
The ecm was certainly effective as our scimis were jammed for much of the fight, although we did have enough Huginns that things were still being webbed. Hopefully this will get our reimbursement team to put eccm on our standard fit
Oh also The Dark Tribe is back in -A-
There's nothing worse than having a good idea for a post not being good enough to pull it off :negative:
I can't stand flying any sort of logi sans eccm. It's really terrible being jammed out by any scrub in a blackbird the entire fight. In this case, the coward tengus do very low dps so if you can manage to get some reps you may be able to save some targets from being volleyed completely... who knows.
