[SIGPIC]Had my sig here[/SIGPIC]
well a days worth in jita is around 100-200 mil, so its worth me holding onto them probably till I break even, about 30mil @ the 140 mark and then a jump upto profitville, just need a decent panic to set in, if only I could bring myself to go to the eve-o forum......
I think I'm going to start inventing Skiffs, so please do me a favor and drive the component prices down on patch day. I'm not even sure what items I'll need but I see my procurer bpo getting copied and invented a lot.
Pretty much just wanted to post something market related in this thread.![]()
Other interesting developments: Fuel blocks are DOWN, likely because of the Skiff buff and everybody's accurate assessment that the market's about to get buttplugged with cheap ice. Caldari fuel (relevant for mining/reaction towers) is down nearly 20% from the beginning of the month, Amarr even more so; Minmatar has been going up and down and right now is right where it started on July 1st; Gallente is down about 10-15%.
Isotopes are also taking a hit - Helium is down 30%, Hydrogen a little hit, Nitrogen down 25%, Oxygen down 20%. All in all, maintaining towers is getting cheaper and moving your materials with a JF is even better.
SAVE PEACETIME REIMBURSEMENT
Isotopes have been artificially high for quite a while. Look at the trends - bot banning and hulkageddon pushed these prices way, way up, and with moon goo being shit the last few months I am sure its a combination of more human ice miners, less towers, and smarter bots (there are more macks in the ice fields now). Don't forget how excited we all were when goons managed to get oxytopes up to 1000 (and then some more).
New exhumers may have a further effect on this, depends on their new price vs how hard they are to gank (i hear they are quite hard). But if a bunch of hisec ores are as good as mining the high end nullsec ores like they are atm, i don't see many human miners moving to isotopes as they drop down through 1000. Smarter bots might help there.
You're forgetting the allure of ice mining isn't in ISK yield (it sucks compared to ore, always has) - it's in the ability to sit and mine the same rock without changing targets. As long as you can drag ice blocks from your cargo to an Orca, you can be constantly shooting the rock. In ore mining there's constant interruption as rocks deplete and targets have to be changed (not to mention you need to move closer to them - this becomes a huge PITA if you're multiboxing).
Maybe the ISK/hour is better ore mining, but the ISK/effort will always be better for ice.
This is not strictly true for the casual miner. If you're mining in a group of 3 or less though (multi-account or corpmates) then ice mining is terrible and you're probably a bot.
If any of you are ever curious why I wholeheartedly want the people I fly with to move out of highsec, it is because of retard fucks like Whitehound. They're everywhere, and multiplying.

On SiSi, all the barges but the Hulk are jumping in component costs, including Crystalline Carbide Armored Plates for the Skiff and Mack. So, start your panic engine?
I think the panic bus is starting to leave the station, sells are up to 149 now with 1/4 of a day supply worth, then a slow rise up, buys are only @ 125 but hopefully as more people board the bus these will rise too. With 8 days to go till patch day, I might come out of this ok fingers crossed
Crystalline Carbonide is about as common as dogshit in a park and plus if these Skiffs are half as tanky as everybody thinks, they're not going to die and thus won't need to be replaced. If there is a spike in Crystalline Carbonide, it'll be a short-term trend.
CCP implementing changes that other companies would have done in the first month of the moon goo changes.
Maybe we can stop laughing our ass off now, when some poor noob yells out in corp chat that he found a r-64 moon with no pos on it.
I mean what the fuck, CCP is so braindead that Mittens had to build a Deus ex machina from Tech to continuously shit on noobs/the market/ccp/enemies.
Tech is fine L2P hurrr we're so funny but seriously guys keep playing our game here's a buff to mining for your patience
I fully expect a buff to mission running before Christmas.
I've noticed that there's a pretty big disconnect between the general consensus of kugu and what's actually happening. It seems enough people have said it in this thread that people are taking it as fact.
Can somebody make me a gif of the Chinese guy from The Hangover air-splooshing Cobalt
Thanks
Just kidding fuck hisec
I'm not a market wizard by any means, but I've been watching tech prices since the announcement. The last couple days, the price seems to have stayed consistent at ~83-88k/unit sells down from ~140k/unit. I'm blanking on the buy order prices since I am posting at work. Is this where the price is expected to stay, or will it go back up again because the cobalt reaction isn't worth the time/fuel/effort?

If you buy enough tech, its price will rise. If you sell enough tech, its price will drop.
Got it?
Only real reason tech droped is coz ppl are panicked and are bunch of sisyes! Tits, vaginas, and wussssssssssss!![]()

On a related note, Whitehound is still trying to rep me![]()
So if tech drops calling cards will be cool again?
Seriously tempted to get some Skiffs just for the AFK mining ability. Might have to train an alt into them. Ratting is.

Wolololol Jita is out of Crystalline Carbonide Armor Plates.
YIELD BEFORE YOUR COBALT EMPEROR
I don't have enough manufacturing slots to pull profits from both the booming Cobalt products and the crashing Tech ones![]()
How long do you give it before cobalt tanks? I switched from haf to cobalt when I realized I could sell the cobalt just high enough to make my tower break even on fuel.
Well my tower will be free to operate for a week-ish. I need to look for a better moon somewhere but there really doesn't seem much point mining for raw mats. the most towers I can handle solo has always been two or three so simple reactions are all I've managed to put together.
OMG, He finally bit through the ballgag!
I really do hope our erstwhile red poster has learned to not be a douche (too often).
why are you still here?

No, I don't know why. Just a heads-up, when your rep is negative your reps do nothing, that's why we're laughing at your feeble attempts to matter.
Also, no, the shitty part of this thread was detached so that you could be a retard in peace, far far away from the ~PUPPETMASTERS~ of economic theory. It didn't work.
Also, question: Why do you spend so much time on a forum where nobody likes you?
No way he's in his forties. He trolls worse than my youngest son (who at 15 is just learning subtle trolling).
Someone posrep Hilmar for me. I spit my coffee out laughing at his ~PUPPETMASTERS~ jibe.
E: Oh snap. he be gassed.
Ah, what a shame. I was just about to post this:

Farewell Whitehound, we barely knew thee.
And thank god for that.

What's going on with unrefined hyperflurite? Reactions monitor is telling me its bringing in 49,930,239.00/reactor/hour?

Dunno how you get those numbers. 1 unrefined hyperflurite is 890k in Jita.
I'll do anything for rep.
