Just because something is true doesn't make it any less annoying, uncreative, or gimmicky. It's gotten to the point where a large amount of posts just say "-A- is shit" with a spoiler, which is what Cippa started like 2 years ago. I'm guessing most people who use it haven't even been here long enough to know that, though. "U mad" was perfectly acceptable at one time too, if not intelligent, until retards started overdoing it.
So yeah, for those wondering why it's annoying, some of us have been seeing your uncreative shit recycled in various forms for a couple years.

I was starting to believe I was the only one growing tired of this. It's not so much the catchphrase "-A- is shit" that's growing stale. What's starting to become annoying it is that people hide it under spoilers thinking it somehow adds an extra dimension of funny every time they do it. The spoiler is only ever amusing when the rest of your post is funny and what is under the spoiler comes unexpected.
Yeah, it's not too bad when it's part of a long and otherwise informative/amusing post. I dunno, when people just make a post with 1 spoiler what's going through their heads?

Honestly - in late EUTZ when AAA russians are sleeping we can do something but in RUSTZ average AAA dude is like 10 times better than average EU or USTZ dude.
Also I did not see any mistakes made (except may be asking for reinforcements and having them obliterated when it was obvious its not gonna work). We did the same thing as per usual - it just did not work.

once there was a fight -a- vs black legion i think. numbers were like 100 vs 30. they had a new fleet doctrin - rokhs and basis, i dont remember what we had. probably drakes.
first they killed our 4 huginns. and we weere not able to kill anything so makalu was screaming "webs, webs, why is the primary not webbed? where are my webs???!!?!?!" i was flying a logistic und had prelocked all 4 huginns and have seen them insta poping. at this point this was allready a _VERY_ entertaining fleet ^^.
but black legion were pwning us and people where exploding and that was the first time i heard that "ok everyone stop dieing! stop dieing you idiots!".
we lost half of our fleetand killed almost nothing but that was probably the funniest fleet i had until that day.
i would always join makalus fleets just for the way he is leading the fleets ^^
It is entertaining, I'll grant you that much. But there's a difference between hilariously welping a fleet in a "fun" context like that (or a roam) and welping a fleet and yelling about it in the context of :srsbsns: sov warfare.
It's entertaining to listen to as an outsider in a laughing-at-panicked-incompetence kind of way, but if I were in -A- and heard an FC react that way (consistently, time after time) during major fleet fights, I'd be more than a bit worried.

This is what AAA does, they lose a fight but it is never critical loss. Never a home run.
I remember when we used to be pro this is what people said about us. Even if PL get caught

As for Makalu yelling - he has been doing it literally for years and AAA dudes like it (otherwise nobody would login).
Their fleet numbers are identical after 1 month of fighting if not more.
Their fleet-comp is actually better (150 tengus, 50 scimis was today's fleet).

During a recent op where Test camped -A- into a POS while they destroyed SBUs in 49- (when they were trying to warp bowl -A- out of the pos) a similar thing happened. Once the Test fleet had left, a lone Test Rokh warped back to the POS. He had probably DC'ed and logged back in. Either way, he was promptly tackled, at which point he ejected and warped off. Because you can switch them off whenever you'd like, and instantly stop the system from being vulnerable.
If the Bad Guys want to ensure vulnerability in your system, they need to personally SBU over 50% of the gates. If you SBU 50% of the gates, the Bad Guys need to destroy your SBUs so that you can't turn vulnerability off by simply offlining the SBU.

Well, to each his own then. If the people of -A- like Malaku's stile, godspeed to you. I'll admit that this fight was a bit of shellacking for TEST's side of things, but on the whole, it's one victory for SoCo after a string of pretty swift losses the past week or so.
I will say I'm kind of surprised TEST isn't doing better in these battles. I mean, if their sole objective is defending 49-, then sure, they've proven perfectly able to do that. But as for actually making inroads into Catch and taking over 4-0, they *have* gotten beaten back I think 2 or 3 times now in the past week or so. Then again I can't shake the feeling that they're not *actually* trying to steamroll Catch (or even take over that one system) here so much as they're just looking for fights and trying to sabre-rattle against -A-, and that if they got serious about things and buckled down they wouldn't have a problem pushing eastward.
Because solo kills are clearly a sign of a competent FC. Certainly the FC with the most solo kills won't be completley shut down by a single keres.
Someone missed the last TEST SOTA. With the upcoming tech nerf and 3 new unupgraded regions to pay for in perpetuity TEST is in no position to enagage in another all out invasion. We might be able to pull it off but with a significant risk of dropping sov elsewhere due to lack of funds or driving our already overtaxed logistics team to suicide, it seems like a pretty large unnecessary risk. However taking 4-0 or a couple of other systems for strategic reasons may be in the cards.

I can understand outsiders thinking that - especially Test since a good portion of membership there consist of first timers to 0.0 - so someone like Maka would scare much of the newer members and would be counter productive to what they are trying to do - get and keep these guys in fleet. I remember my first outings in 0.0 up north getting called out for being a retard (I was in fact being a retard) and getting pissed. More importantly, since I didn't want to be called a retard in comms again I learned....
Generally, much of -A- consist of bittervets, ex NC and Russians so we're quite used to the aggresive delivery of infomation within fleet comms. Generally people get yelled at for doing stupid shit - it's always funny to see new corps on the first few fleets - one or two of them get offended but quickly realize everyone is getting yelled at and it simply is what it is.
