That being said, last night was a lot of fun. Don't even need to wait for fleets to be broadcast any more just log on and there's constant fleets and action on the go. I think I'm finally starting to see where -a- are coming from. Our guys are having more fun now than ever despite losing SOV hand over fist. The constant pvp is really nice.
I think Mittens mistake was not keeping to his game plan of not providing good fights. There's so many good fights on our doorstep I'm logging in more now than ever before. It got to the stage last night that we couldn't set up and bomb fast enough to catch all the gangs coming through so we started engaging small frig/bc gangs with torps between bombing runs

Guess we're going to be seeing a ton of completely failed bombing runs until THAT one gets fixed.
I mean, bombs have 240hp with 99% resist against the same damage type as itself, and if a single bomb was doing 290 dmg to another single bomb of the same damage type, then that means CCP forgot to take resistances for the bombs into account when applying this "hotfix".

Yup, that's exactly it. It looks like the 99.5% resists to the same damage type are gone, or at least not calculating correctly. An electron bomb does 6400 damage, which at 99.5% resists should be 32 damage.
Cue tinfoil hattery from -A- that their bombing runs are now only going to be effective solo.. I'd attribute this to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanlon%27s_razor
