Blasterworm was close to being popped when the whole ECM cloud got jams off. After that there was no point in the match that both Sleips where not jammed.

I wana see you guys next week, from the looks of your set ups as opposed to past years it seemed you put more work and study into the tourney this year. While it sucks you probably got one of the top teams to beat this year as your first match it was still impressive to see you pull nearly the same set up (I said nearly there were some glaring differences) as them out of the hat.

I don't want to reveal too much about the why of the medium shield booster. If you look at others, esp. the one with a large shield booster and 2 shield boost amps dying HORREBLY due to lack of buffer, we had our reasons to go for an AB setup.
there's a very specific setup you can counter with this, and we where counting on that team on the other side.

It was a gamble, and we lost.. And yes, that fitting will be discussed coming week, it was (tbh) *my* setup which I pushed and pushed to be used, and shown many times in the trainings how effective it could be.

Hard counter? Frankly there's a lot of counters for a no-logi ASB setup, all you have to do is survive and apply DPS until an ASB reload cycle.

I personally prefer the vindicator to the face counter to ASBs. But agree, there are plenty, especially in 12v12.

This is my first year in the tourney, but I really like this year's rules - the 6 / 12 pilot limit plus the frig pt decrease changes a lot; add in the ASBs, tier 3 BCs and improvements to hybrids shake things up even more. I think there are more options than in the past, and with more options comes more complexity, making execution by each pilot even more important. And the kind of thing that rewards experience and practice, not necessarily isk and SPs. Which is great.

hm well prequalifiers are abit more hectic than the later rounds, less time to prepare some witty comments or look at the actual setups.
