BR: The Battle of MC6
In a rather unique way this was a really interesting battle. Two fleets from both sides, roughly even numbers, if not actually fighting outnumbered if you factor in the dreads.
We didn't form especially early, and we weren't anywhere near as organized as i'd like because ;coming home; so we managed to get our titans sorted and get ourselves into system with no more than 10 minutes on the clock, usually i prefer a bit more time than that to make some bookmarks, get setup etc. but it would not be. Nulli and BL both numbered around the 100 mark, 1 ahac fleet 1 abaddon fleet. We had a 100man Tengu fleet and a slightly large drakefleet (140 in fleet at times but its a goonfleet drakefleet)
With about 3 minutes to go on the tower Nulli decided to gate in, being that their titan had screwed up or something, i dont know the story but im sure they had a titan and chose not to use it for some reason. So they jump in from JURU, we didn't have any live intel, so our only notice was a scout calling it. Both CFC fleets hit the gate, drakes and tengus both at 70 but from different angles. putting a good amount of distance between ourselves. Nulli jumps in and at the same time BL bridges in from the angle of boats drakefleet and then warp to 100. while the Tengufleet is in a nice spot, the drakefleet is sandwiched between the two hostile fleets and eats some losses as it gets a better position. Fighting goes on, on the gate for about 5-10 minutes before we decide to reposition onto the first tower coming out for a tactical advantage. At this point we've lost maybe 10-15 drakes and killed a few zealots at most.
I screw up my initial tower warping but it works out perfectly somehow when the Ahacs land on grid inbetween the tengus and drakes at perfect range for both, the abaddons come in as well but in roughly the same spot and unable to effectively deal damage. So we chew on the ahac fleet for a bit until they bounce, we try on the abaddons, but they have effective firewall plus triage support and we are about 10 tengus to short to break them. nonetheless everytime nulli bounces their the only target on-grid so we always look for cracks, sometimes finding them in their logi, or fleet stabbers and other cruiser sized ships.
Somewhere in this convoluted time mess Nulli attempts to bomb the tengu's, MWD's into their own bombs and loses a couple bombers. While throughout the fight our bombers stalwartly, expertly and relentlessly spew a torrent of void bombs down upon our poor amarrian enemies, likely making their life a general hell
We dance this dance for about 10 minutes, mostly with the tengus just pecking away at the chinks in the BL triage tank and with nulli making the odd attempt to get on zero on the tengus once or twice before the dreads roll in. About 10 dreads and a couple carriers (plus the BL triages already about) have now arrived. At first i thought they were there to shoot the tower as that supported the placement of them but shortly after boat begins complaining of tracking dreads. Tracking dreads dont really bother me at all so as we continue to maneuver around the field i now have a secondary target choice when the nulli ahac group pings... their dreads. The first dread goes down in pretty short order, the second starts to hold around 20% armor. We couldn't figure out if he had come out of siege or what at the time, but we stop shooting him for a minute to kill some more zealots who ahve come down off their perch again, when they bounce back up, he is still at 20% armor, so we switch ammo types and switch back to him and finish the job.
the abaddons and ahacs mostly occupy our attention for the next 10ish minutes while the dreads hightail it out.
Around this point the tower dies. A nulli prowler decloaks and attempts to drop a large tower. Sadly there are still anchored mods inside the tower. As such he cannot drop the tower, his prowler is tackled and killed and the large tower is now sitting in space for anyone to take. It would sit that way while the abaddons and ahacs continued to duel with the tengus and sometimes drakes, until a hero viator decloaks, drops a small goon tower and then steals the large.
the viator would die, but i think he dropped the large off at another tower before he did so. im not really sure on this because his killmail doesn't show the large tower.
anyways, with a small goon tower now anchoring the dynamic has changed, even with another large tech to kill in system, BL and Nulli have taken non-insignificant losses, i have killed almost every logi they have save 3 or 4 and their DPS numbers are slowly dropping while a third CFC fleet of 60 or so is now en-route to assist.
Nulli at this point warps to a safespot and does not return to the field for the remaining 10 minutes. BL however is bubbles and encircled. With no weak links left in the chain, We attempt to kill the chain itself, the triage carrier(s). The tengufleet DPS is originally not up to the task, but after switching to explosive the first traige carrier begins falling steadily, drakefleet reappears on grid and he begins to drop precipitously fast. At this point the bubbles on BL drop and they warp out leaving only an abbaddon or two behind.
we finsih the already in strucure carrier and the last two abaddons, we then mop up a couple poor souls reconnecting and loot the field.
really great brawl almost an hour and then some of constant action.

All Tech saved today. Nulli & BL tried their best to bring the fight. 120~ Nulli t3 BCs torn apart by overwhelming CFC alpha- and drake-fleets, whilst Elo and his merry band of 40~ bombers tried heroically to even the odds a little. I didn't have fraps running whilst they bombed themselves/tried to bomb & forgot to reload but the above gif seems to illustrate the situation perfectly.
We will make nulli realise why FW was a better idea faster than maka docksso we took more tech from them than they took sov from -a-
Our welp has nothing to do with the fact that our FC (who we won't name here) fleet warped us into GSF POS just to get bumped 20k of it when POS managed changed the password! : )

I haven't laughed so hard in ages. Warp into an enemy POS with a sniper fleet then being surprised when the password gets changed. Warping out then back and bubbling your own fleet giving hero dictors time to drop a chain of bubbles and watching the whole fleet die in a fire. However the best part was bad bombing run #11 that wiped out your own pods stuck in the bubbles.
The plan was to warp out sooner than that. But I forgot to move my probes.

I've noticed that there's a pretty big disconnect between the general consensus of kugu and what's actually happening. It seems enough people have said it in this thread that people are taking it as fact.
