In fact, Montolio specifically asked if we wouldn't mind staying out of Delve so you guys could have some fun with PL against the Nulli/russians. We were all asking him if he needed help or if we could just come because it's literally the only place in EVE where there were dudes to fight. He'd politely ask if we'd chill so that you guys could continue having fun with fights and not be killjoys.
I really feel sorry for the grunts of soco.

It's totally fine though, when I pay for a game I want to be gagged by my 'superiors' and threatened with being expelled from the alliance.
Obviously the typical line member of SoCo has no BATTLEMIND whatsoever and cannot engage in the proper BATTLECOMMS.
The SoCo are worshipers of the corpse emperor.
We serve a greater power then that of a human mind, come and hear our song:
Thing with being allied with -A- is that they'll fuck you daily in peace (until one day they purge you) and fuck you up in war when "they come to your aid", they are literally the worst ally Eve has ever known - no question about that and they're leaders of SoCo, it's as absurd as a pedophile leading an orphanage
Fuck that
Why does the Soco not deploy any forces north to hit the soft underbelly of the CFC? They have a huge empire to defend and the reason they can mass so many forces in the south is because no one is doing anything in the north.
Im no armchair general but the one weakness if any of the CFC is the vast amount of space and assests they have to defend.
I would simply keep them busy in Delve while picking off the CSAA of the smaller CFC alliances forcing them to return home to defend them.
I would of thought Raiden would of been ideal for this.
Paging Black Legion.. paging Black Legion.. they're not answering vOv
.... That was fun..:S GF to Goons and credit to SoCo for having brass balls to engage 500 with 200.
I hate to say it but credit due where credit is due, so nice move Goonies.
Some p.grim fight results but I'm glad we engaged despite being very outnumbered.
No doubt we're losing but its _really_ fun to just log in and be in a fleet shooting stuff right away. Was in 2-3 fleets that night with different doctrines.
Despite the whelp loki fleet was still fun. This little brawl with test was the most fun fight last night: https://a-killed.me/?a=kill_related&kll_id=741462
Also lol at Mak's proteus being on our 'most expensive kills list'
What a load of horse shit.
The only way to stop the 42k man train is do what most of eve has already done and join it making it a 52k train.
Its funny PL did not show the same sort of fighting spirit the moment they lost advantage when Nulli and RA formed a truce to fight you.
The first thing you do is call for help.
I said a while ago on this forum you have never fought anyone in a strait up war for years and that all you ever did was dick around with other peoples wars buffing your stats and dropping targets of opportunity.
You went to delve to do exactly that. Dick around with the war between RA and Nulli.
The moment they stopped fighting each other and turned on you you had the chance for the first time in years of a toe to toe fight and all you did was call for help.
Where was all that fight mentality then? You expect people to face 42k when you couldnt face a few hundred.
Your balls only seem to swell with your fleet sizes and shrink just as fast when numbers are less in your favour.
:realtalk:
We fight you guys all the time. We learn a lot from fighting you. We've won a couple against you guys, lose most. We don't take it to the heart as typically you guys have great fleet comp and can flip doctrines at the drop of a hat (something we lack the skill points to do). This makes us more and more predictable to your fleets. This is fine and we accept it. We don't mind throwing some FC's at ya to get used to the target calling and how to move a fleet around a system.
The real comical part to all of this is that we have very few FC's in FA. It's no secret that the FC's we do have are great at < 30 man gangs but don't enjoy and don't do the big shit. It showed in Syndicate when you guys dropped on us, it dropped our campaign EFF. from 80% down to some retarded low number like 20% and within a few days of small gang fights throughout the region, we were back up to 40%. The rest of the campaign we slowly crept back up until it was time for another large fleet to get welped by a good Pure Madness. bombing run or RnK to do what we were hoping and waiting for them to do so we can try to learn more.
If anything, we learn something new each time you guys show up and it's fun. The sad part is, you always bring a second fleet of BL duders along for the ride and keep your supers on standby in range be it from the SOE system in Pure Blind or from low sec. This doesn't allow for us to try things we don't typically do.
If the two of us were in a sov war, this all would be understandable. However, when you guys are neutral neighbors looking for ~fun~ this isn't the way you keep your target engaged. I'm not suggesting you lose to us. However, I am saying that the fights we've had where it was NC. vs. FA they were enjoyable. You guys typically keep your word on the doctrines used and fleet cap sizes. They make good fun for our FC's to gain confidence and have something to learn from. Even when we lost, our guys would be more than happy to fleet up to fight you again. Shit, we even did a drake vs. drake fight that was damn boring to begin with, but you guys eventually broke us and started popping our recons/support.
When it's not fun... heh, read above. Dudes don't wanna keep undocking the same doctrines we, as an alliance have the ability to fly (cause again, we lack the SP you guys do) only for you to bring the direct counters. This gets old. It loses it's fun factor for us even if we keep trying. Especially when you bring more bros around instead of keeping it cool and fun. Eventually we'll just start blueballing you and that will make shit REALLY boring. That or our pilots will get tired of being fodder for our FC's to learn and they'll stop fleeting up. This is why we deployed to Syndicate. Dudes were tired of poor fleet comps and rookie FC's losing to seasoned vets. They wanted to keep playing, but our fleet compositions began to deteriorate. We needed to leave the nest and get away from the excuses of why people didn't want to fleet up. When we come back from Delve, I hope to have an alliance who is a bit more fine tuned to give you guys better fights.
If you want to have fun with us and have a neighbor to shoot at, keep it fun for both sides... win or lose.
Nobody fights anybody in a 'straight up' war.
Your point is moot. We're not all in Delve for ~goodfites~, we're here to take the space. So far, we're doing this at an alarming rate considering how many stations are deployed there. To date, your entire coalition has lacked the coordination and leadership to fight us at least once on a single timer. It's not because of our blob, it's because you and your whole coalition is bad. Which is what we've been trying to pound into your head for the majority of this thread.
EVE is not just about who is more ~elite~, it's a game of politics and empire building as well. Something the entire southern block fails at miserably. Save the 'we're awesome on our own' for alliance tournaments. Your line members flat out lack confidence in leadership where us in the north are the opposite. There is no hope for you as these simple concepts escape you and you think that you're too good for your allies. Your attitude sucks and it will be your demise.
It takes no balls to run bomber fleets.
It takes no balls to run ~wulfpax~.
It takes no balls to run to Stain.
It takes no balls to cry about being blobbed.
It does however take a pair to say you'd be jack shit without your bros backing you up.
It's still rather empty words saying "you just need to fight". We did that for 3-4 months straight in Tenal(while also fighting Test during some of those weeks), before CFC did a holiday push with 1000+ dudes showing up dunking an already pretty tired group of people.
It's a shame there isn't a Coalition which can potentially match CFC, as I'd like to get back into the fighting. But with -A- being shit and having retarded leaders and Nulli probably losing all their space, I and others like me currently have no place to set up and get involved. Except of course joining a CFC-aligned alliance, although I still try to hold on to a romantic notion of multiple power blocks in 0.0.
Yea the DRF campaign against the NC kind of blows your theory out of the water there Space Cadet.
This is like watching the death-throes of the NC all over again, but from the other side of the fence. The grunts look like they want to fight, but bitter, old-time FC's are keeping them docked up.
I guess its the problem with old organisations ran by old mostly-afk players who have been around the block a few times; its easy for the older guys running the show to play the long game, take a view on where the pieces will be in 6 months to a year, and log off. But for the new guys who have only been playing for a year or two, and where this alliance and this region of space is the only home they know, they want to stand up, get in their ships, and go down swinging. Thats what broke the NC - fleets being stood down when grunts had planned their week or weekend around being there to fight, FC's ranting and raving at guys who have given up their time to help, and just getting greif for their effort. And its where this war is going.
There comes a time when you have to consider that the old guys, despite all their experience, can sometimes be just as wrong as anyone else. Their old grudges and preconceptions might be dragging you down with them. If they are not listening to your opinion "because they know better", yet are at every turn making mistakes and costing you people and morale, you have to consider cutting them loose, and let them die in the fire of their own making. You don't do yourself a favour by going down with the ship - sure, you might get a reputation as a reliable ally, but thats a worthless title if its only inscribed on your gravestone.
I'm seeing all the hubris and failings in -A- that we were being shown by Morsus Mihi a touch over a year ago (I'm trying to avoid pointing out what the obvious reason for that might be). When they were taken out of the equation, the CFC was able to put up a coherent fight in the north. Take that as a lesson.
So Garth what your saying is: "Even we (PL) couldn’t beat Goons/CFC, so no one can and everyone should just bow down and join them".
Actually, what he said wasn't "you just need to fight", what he said was "you need to fight", because if you don't we'll make sure you pay for it through the loss of your space, and then you'll have the uphill struggle of trying to get it back.
Numbers-wise, the SoCo shouldn't be faring too badly. Pity SoCo is literally made up of what has to be the shittiest bloc leader of all time, Against All "oh god we're not outblobbing them 4:1 anymore, RETREAT TO STAIN" Authorities. The alliance which literally went from "WE WILL BATHE IN THE TEARS OF PL/TEST WOLOLOLOL" to "RETREAT TO STAIN, WULFPAX WOLOLOLOL" in what I thought was a week, but turns out was from late friday/early saturday, to ... sometime on monday, I suppose.
That's just pathetic.
I'd like to see what sort of glasses you're using which'll make "you have to fight, you literally have to fight, or you will lose your shit. This won't be like the other times, you will lose it if you don't fight" into "we couldn't beat goons/CFC, so the only thing you can do is join them". I mean, I've been having a few "discussions" with Jade in my time, but even he wasn't able to make that kind of a transformation.
No, that's not a compliment.
Trying to catch up reading this, but you made my day Zagdul.
You know, less sov, less work at least from my personal perspective and i'm really like to live nomadic, half-nomadic.
Yesterday we had more fun then the last month.Killing straglers, frigate fleet, hit and run, etc. That's we love so much.

Try reading my post.
The point is Garth is talking shit, telling them to fight 42k when he and his alliance would not fight a few hundred.
The point is his balls seem to be alot bigger now than they were a short while ago when the odds not looking so good.
The point is he belongs to an alliance that has done nothing but dick around in other peoples wars for a few years now.
That was my point, and no I do not think its moot.
(replying to this one instead of the response to my post)
You are of course correct. Anyone wanting to have space WILL have to fight for it. We did, and lost. My point was more that 3 months of fighting left a lot of our core players rather burned out. The CFC? 3 months of solid sov warfare with constant SBU'ing, planting new SBU's, repping services and structures, getting hotdropped by supers didn't even begin to dent your numbers or will to continue. Hell, even following the kicking Raiden. out, you continued to dunk NC. and Ev0ke until they apologized and fell into line (not much NEEDING to fight for their space from either, though).
Need to fight is the way to go. It just won't save you from the, rather fucking impressive, war machine of CFC.
The one talking shit here is you.
(Hum, I'm defending Grath. This is ... new.)
SoCo is a lot more than "a few hundred" members, you have the benefit of home defense, and at the worst you should've been able to make this a very, very long-winded and protracted war. Most wars we, the CFC, have waged the past 2 years have taken at least the fall of a few station systems before failure cascade sets in, whereas you faggots are barely more than 2 full days into the war before you're retreating back to stain and making this whole landgrab about as easy as stealing candy from a kid.
Unlike your balls which shrivelled up and teleported themselves to the moon.
And you belong to a coalition which will be known for losing a war in 2 days.
a lot of hurt feelings and try hards in here

Ok i think there is some misscomunication here. What i got from Garth and other PL people is that: They(PL) tryied to fight Goons but found out they are unbeatable when they bring 2000+ peeps to blaap your shit. I saw PL try to fight goons again and again and they got Whiped the fuck out. So PL just went; ok, this is no fun, we give up and then later (after the DRFwar) joined forces.
What i do agree with is Grath saying that you can only deafet Goons by breaking their moral. And welping fleets again and again with 5to1 odds aint breaking shit.
So we will wait, engage sometimes, lose sometimes, win sometimes and see Goons get bored. And if you dont get bored we will lose our space (again) and no fucks will be given(again). And we will do something else.
So quick td rl from my perspective.
RA moved to Querious/Delve by -A-.
Nulli&co vs RA&co fights kick off in april about Delve.
PL arrived to Delve to "have good fights" as a 3th party
PL kicked RA's ass a few times, -2 titans, had brawls with Nulli&co.
After 11 day RA retired to 9CG and get out of fights.
Vikings went to Q too.
PL got stomped in May 1. 3 times in a row.
*escalation*
PL calls in supers.
Incoming TEST during May.
The fight went with low pace with some good brawls. Very few sov changes.
The fights cooled down RA stayed out, PL fights against Nulli&co.
Nulli and RA started to work together, saving CSAA, timers.
NOL battle, BL come to have a brawl with Nulli. -1 PL titan, -1 BL aeon, -1 Nulli hel (deserved).
Test calling in meatshields. 99%, aurora shadow. During may.
*escalation*
-A- started to show up for some important timers.
For HM- timer PL&Test called in evoke and some goons, had around 700 in local. -> no fights
*escalation*
AAA started to deploy to Delve.

This thread has taught me a lot. Like, for instance, I had no idea that the CFC + HB was 42k actual people behind computers piling into every fight and killing things 23/7 as -A- has mentioned throughout this thread. I also wasn't aware that people are correct when they talk about how terrible -A- is. I mean, who the fuck can be as smug as these guys ABOUT losing space? Here I was looking forward to the potentially biggest war to date, and all we're going to wind up getting is a super intensive structure grind - which I'm also cool with - and then onward to another region to repeat. Guess I'm not going to take a few days off for this afterall, wouldn't want to take too much time anyway, since the war pretty much began and ended within 72 hours.
TL;DR Delve is gonna make me real sad soon.
As a unaffiliated observer to all this stuff, I have to say this thread is quickly going from a couple battlereports and mostly shit talking from both sides to all shit talking, all the time.
Kind of sad.
How about we flip the situation theoretically: If somebody from the HB-CFC side would be so kind as to state how'd they would act if they were SOCO and a SOCO poster basically do the same. Might still turn into people talking a whole bunch of shit, but it might be interesting to read ya'lls thoughts.
If not, I'll just go back to my corner and get more popcorn.![]()
[ 2013.05.11 03:30:09 ] Jace Vorrin > THEMICK MCCOY SENDS HIS REGARDS :smug:
Grath is right when he says this might be different from when PL/NCdot burned down -A- space. -A- might be confronted with new residents in 'their' space that have firm batphoning ties with the CFC.
Really, can you show me exactly where I said that?
Funny that Evoke managed largely by themselves to do exactly what I said (fight) and stopped the last push goons made on Delve....
Literally rewriting history as you go to fit your arguments, you heard it here first folks, we didn't beat the NC, and they DEFINITELY aren't now scattered through every group in EVE.
Stop distorting the facts. PL were facing Nulli and RA (RA were not in great shape either). PL called for help help with those long before any mention of the Soco.
Some one who does not have the balls to fight against the odds should not goad others for doing exactly the same.
Also I do not belong to the Soco so no point aiming the accustations my way.
What I cannot stand is hypocracy and people who cannot seem to get thier facts strait.
Personaly I hope the whole of 00 ends up in the CFC so you terds end up with no one left to fight.
Witch after the fall of Nulli and -A- will not be too far off
Who is left after this? IRC ? im sure they will last 5 mins. Evoke and NC. the only other pvp group but they are already blue are they not?
I like how these SoCo shitposting heathens actually think PL has a batphone.
And Evoke/Ewoks/Polaris stopped what a 5000 Canes. That was a gimmick campaign coz they where bored.
So did PL and friends get pawned in VFK-IV, and make a deal to save your stuff and thought hey, CFC can prevent us with a challenge and decide nahh rather win at all costs.
Show us exactly where you didn't say that.
