Irc has be doing well. I've been in their fleets, and the FC's are competent, if a little pompous, not unusual for ego's large enough to think they are FC material. ED is pretty hyper, they had all kinds of pressure and turned the tide (with some help, but no major alliance like SONE's NC rescue fleet) and now ED is back and looking to kill something.

I feel sorry for SONE's pilots, they deserve better leadership. The leadership they have rides the short bus, and has no idea how to counter the attack they face. The NC seem to be getting tired of making a trip to change the flat on the short bus, and getting blue balled by IRC, going home having wasted an evening and knowing the short bus is going to be upside down in a ditch tomorrow.

Then we went together to reinforce a PNG jumpbridge in malpais, while the IRC/ED/PNG fleet was hiding in the pos shield. NC is not tired at all, just a bit angry at IRC for them constantly trying to avoid a fight even when having numerical superiority.

That outpost that PNG dropped in C-4D0W last night is in a very good position considering the 'crowded' nature of E-Reach, basically lets them fully control the best constellation in Great Wild lands with a single outpost.

I'll go into the rest of the normal stuff at the end of the month, but just thought I'd mention that since I woke up, clicked Dotlan and PNG is the first alliance this month to put down an outpost that wasn't fucking redundant as hell. Nice work.

You must have forgotten about the +80 SONE dudes in Tengus nearby (and they love hotdropping). Apparently NC. is not any longer up only for gudfights, but structure grinding IRC stations.

IMO wtf is taking so god damn long? Even if the IRC side completely clears Kale at this point, still looks like a win for the locals imo holding it off for so long so outnumbered. (hell even SOLAR is hitting them now too i see so add another 3,000)

Its a shame too, the kale group seems to be one of the last ones doing thier own thing and not sucking somebody else's dick for space like everybody else in the game. With current game mechanics doubt we ever get to see that again.

Quite the contrary. I'd suppose that age of the entity (with competent leadership) should make it better with time. Get some fleet comps running, build caps and try to do something interesting.
But the reality doesn't meet one's expectations. Take ED with their kick-ass new video. It looks nuts. But the trash fleets of drakes and canes don't match that awesomeness and emphasis on their historical heritages in Etherium.

As for the name, I do not know what's wrong with it. When one tries hard enough, every alliance name can sound stupid. Like - do you guys in SOLAR FLEET fly with solar sails on your ships or what?
And lastly, how loyal the membership shall stay to the alliance should we lose the rest of TKE is yet to be seen. Personally, I am more attached after these short few months than I ever was after spending over a year in Majesta. We get shit done, leadership is reasonable and fleets are chill and fun so I just can't agree with you on calling it throwaway alliance that most of us would leave behind. Not under the current circumstances.

Another day of the grind in TKE. Solar got up early, reinforced everything in sight, but mostly the heart of SONE's area in I2D3-5 and surrounding systems. Amazing how fast a couple of dozen mom's will take down structures. Lshock showed up in some new ship, got a few holes shot in it, managed to get away. Solar left and went back to bed, probably too early for NC's pilots to be active. On and off for the rest of the day I was in fleets shooting SONE structures, which is about as exciting as it sounds. The midday one was threatened by Ewoks/Evoke but they never seemed to get the numbers up to try, although we expected NC to be involved they were apparently drowning their sorrow at having lost to to TEST in AT10 and weren't answering the batphone. Later we went into 3 systems to shoot up hubs and SONE tried to form up in I2D3-5 although it showed a lot of movement, never got enough ships around the Erebus to give it a go. We packed up and went home to go ratting.
