I'd like to see what a goon "ping" could get. They gotta be pushing into the big boy ranks for total active supers, but how many are actually ready to go on short notice is a different matter.

Noone wanna leave their home with supers knowingly going to a supercap brawl without atleast a bunch of supers on their own, so people gotto wait untill enough people respond before they can head out, if its a unfavourable tz or fc have just been doing tons of structure grind ops laterly its prob gonna take a while.
So while Solar prob is right regarding that PL (and prob some others) will come to any Nc. vs solar supercap fight, who ever decides the battle first, is prob gonna have the upperhand for atleast 30min. (very few people would start a supercap brawl without atleast beliving they can win it/have upper hand as the fight starts).
Solar seems to have massivly support superiourity, 300+ maelstroms hurts, and rapes enemy support. NC. gonna have trouble establisning tackle of hostile supers to even semi controll the battlefield before its allies can jump in supers/secure its own tackle.(titan route is prob gonna be behind the superroute). So in my eyes, the only danger to solar if it picks its battle is getting 1 vollyed by titans, but it should be able to dish out more dmg than the 10+ titans can inflict.

1. Side A has supers and caps, Side B also has supers and caps, it's been a few months or even a year since the last super cap brawl.
2. Both sides are indeed worried that the other will call in buddies and friends, it's a good fear everyone wants supers to burn in a fire and get on tasty kill mails.
3. Both sides will be cautious.
4. Enter our friend Alcohol! (Weed for some of you,, or whatever vice you enjoy while playing EVE) And couple this with an FC of leader in charge of a fleet.
5. Suddenly the worry about long term consequences isn't so bad. Pilots that have been 'locked' into supers for 12 to 24 months get 'itchy' to have a good brawl, they 'voluteer' to drop in with their super and 'go for it'
6. BOOM!
7. Small engagement becomes one of the biggest cap/scap battles in EVE history.
8. Everyone that can get there does, dozens if not multiple dozens of supers die in a fire and a GREAT time is had by almost everyone there.
9. Afterwards everyone becomes a bit more paranoid and cautious about starting another fight like that, an alliance or two might lose it's space.
10. Some FC's 'retire' realizing the chance of being in a battle like this again most likely won't happen in EVE. The most bitchy/complaining super cap pilots (the ones that lost their supers) leave the game. Things go back to normal.
(after about 4 months go back to step 1.)

last night we formed up in what was drawing close to Russian prime and came through the gates of a cyno jammed system in which solar had a capital fleet logged in, and after a few brief skirmishes on the gate solar decided to hide in their pos and watch us shoot structures while bringing in their scrub pets to do bomber runs on evokes drones.
as Vince said NC. + evoke around 280ish with solar and pets making up the rest of the 620 or so in system.
everyone was pretty psyched for a brawl, lots of bros went home pretty grumpy about the lack of a fight.
If it happens, it happens. It's been stated that sCap brawls don't get planned and only happen during escalations or :whelps:.
I still like Solar though, they some good brawlers - thinking about changing my work hours so I can get more fights since call volume is up.

Solar obviously decided that it wasn't time to suicide their fleet yesterday, while solar may have had numerical advantage, the 200 tech lord battleships would have massacred them. You can whine about blueballs but NC. & Evoke clearly had a superior fleet.
As for brick we weren't there - too busy evacing our shit since NC. seem to have decided they want our space and have RF'ed BWF. Meh, what you gonna do... attacking is always more fun anyhow^^

Lasted over 2 hours of constant fighting
Will attempt a non bias B/R.
So TDE4 was coming out of RF and its cyno jammed.
We jump in first start anchoring and Solar/Gypsy warp in perfect range to start raping us. Within 1 min we were down 10 or so logies, and things were not looking well. Evoke jumps in right behind us and give us time to regroup at a ping and get to work. Fight kicks off and both sides start to lose a good amount of ships, for the next 2 hours or so all involved parties were maneuvering to better positions on the same grid. It was tough to determine who was winning. At this point were frantically pinging for more logies and reinforcements which might have actually changed the course of the fight, Solar/Gypsy were doing the same I'm guessing.
About 1/2 way in the battle Solar warps in 25 triage carriers to the gate to help their ships, at which point we start to realize that even though we were down 40 or so Loki's we were still coming out on top, so the call is made for dics/hics to keep the carriers tackled which they did initially but about 1/2 managed to get out due to the constant anti dictor support they had. Slowly but surely we started to take control of the fight and decided to go for the cyno jammer which seemed to take for ever to go down.
In the end the jammer was incapped and poured in the supers/titans while Solar was trying to self destruct what ever Carriers were left on field we were forced to use DD's.
In the end we reinforced everything and held the field.
GG once again Solar/Gypsy lets do it again.

No the numbers seemed very close, and if you subtract the supers from the fight it was even number fight 421 vs 424.
With T3's fielded on both sides, that fight totals no less than 200billion worth of damages - around 170mil of which was subcaps - that's pretty impressive!

Sorry, my question might not have been clear enough - I was wondering what the most amount of ISK (not kills) destroyed in a battle without super caps dying was in total, not specifically battles with strategic cruisers, although I think the proliferation of T3 fleets has increased the average ISK lost in a battle a lot recently.
