Not every alliance did it like that in the South. Though I did notice nulli was pretty much the only alliance that didn't assign corps systems and turned down any corps who asked for personal systems when they applied. I don't get why alliances do that either to be honest, all it does is teach corps to look out for themselves and discourage any type of alliance cohesion.

Actually that leak was a dude trying to tell a newbie to get out of his (botting) system, which is about as big a breach of the "how not to get your corp booted from goonswarm" rules as you can get. His corp is no longer in the alliance, btw.

The rule he broke was, to be specific, number one: "First, cause no drama." The second is "do not consistently badpost (unless you are in waffe, Russian or French)." The third is "show up", while the fourth is "don't sell supers to non-blues."

The call went out on jabber for a cyno in T-I, the last standing station in Delve. I happened to be 2~ jumps away with a cheetah so I set destination and headed out. I don't know what was causing the urgency, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if it was Wallpapers using their super fleet to shoot our SBUs.

Ping goes out for a drake fleet, and I join up on a scimi. After a bit of a wait, the bridge goes up and just as it was lit, a Wallpapers dictor uncloaks on the pos and tries to bubble our fleet. He just missed grabbing most of our fleet only because we were way inside our pos. Despite our surprise at that bold move, we bridged through and repped up the nullified tengu we had used for our cynoship after losing multiple covops.

We shot the station and it was timed for our worst possible timezone. In the meantime Wallpapers somehow managed to tackle our cloaky nullified cyno tengu. Scimis warped in but it was too late. We managed to catch a hurricane but goddamn.

Next we warped off to our staging tower in T-I, which wallpapers had rapecaged to fuck. We cleared the bubbles then warped back onto the station to shoot a wallpapers ship that had agressed someone else. The moment we warped in, bombers uncloaked and launched a wave of bombs, then moments later, a second wave hit. Most of our ships were in deep shields so if they'd launched a 3rd wave they would have wiped out about 70 dudes. They still managed to wipe out our tackle and brobirds though.

We repped up and then exited system, with about 10 wallpapers following us towards 1DH-. They ended up picking off a few stragglers, including a scimitar.

Goddamn, if these guys were in charge of SoCo instead of -A-, I'd genuinely find our chances of holding delve to be somewhat suspect.

This reminds of Evoke holding NOL despite numerous attempts by the "blob" to take it last year (in fucking drakes). There are ways to counter the Blob, but it requires you to actually undock and play Eve, a task which -A- seems unwilling to do.

I remember when the way -A- treats its allies was the way ALL powerful alliances (or at least those perceived as powerful) treated their allies, or "pets" to use the terminology of the time. In the old model, one powerful alliance asserted dominance and conquered space. Then they attracted subordinate alliances to work the fields and harvest the bounty of the space that the landlords weren't using in return for a modicum of protection (which usually just turned out to be "the right not to get shot by your landlords"). Name me two alliances that treated their allies well before Goonswarm came into its power. I can't, and I've thought about it.
