I can't imagine why you'd form Dreads when shooting a POS. The fact they were dropped in combat is circumstance.
I don't think the winning factor in Canaris' decision was the whole dropping-of-dreads so much as it was Richter's reputation as the most easily trolled FC in existence.
I'd just like to remind everyone here that Canaris and the rest of the nulli pubs are crying about TEST's, of all people, massive cap fleet
may I suggest moving to Amamake top belt until you toughen up for null-sec?
Hey,

My avatar is just out of range... but I used my BOB Client and yes, bridged the -a- fleet last night from Catch to Delve

I have a new ship for the next time we fight Nulli.
This is going to end poorly.

The PL+TEST vs Nulli fight last night was seriously awesome‚ lik? over an hour of battlesh?p brawl?ng.
Ships on both sides were being s?ved at the last sec?nd in structure‚ th?re was t?me to br?dge people b?ck int? the fight like two or three times‚ and Nulli was great at controll?ng the?r r?nge very carefully t? keep us at optimal and stay generally away from our dreads.
Frustrating to not break them a lot of times but so satisfying to catch them off guard occasionally and pop them. I literally can remember the names of like half their fleet from them getting saved in low armour and structure so many times and coming back to them later.
Look at how much damage some of these guys took before we finally got them down‚ was pr?tty crazy: https://www.pandemic-legion.com/kill....php?id=510132
PL+TEST held the field and w?n the fight in the end but it was hard fought‚ frustrating and also ?xc?t?ng. I was super impressed with Nulli reps and disciple during that fight. They had a large fleet it definitely wasn't all battleships, and we had lots of dreads on our side as well - yet we had a TON of trouble breaking their ships, and were constantly switching targets to try and catch them off guard.
Anyway, it was a lot of fun and I'm glad you guys stuck around and fought it out even with so many of our dreads on field.
Thanks for the fun!
HM- was turned into murder city today. 100 drakes 360 noscoped all over the faces of four seperate fleets (PANGU baddons, RED autocannon tempests, S2N nagas, -A- bombers) numbering about 130-140.
Cigars and brandy back at 1DH after we finish scraping this field up.
Stuck at work, but looks like a decent scrap. Lots of dead on both sides.
Second hand info I got says our first time naga FC fleet warped in a direction 180° from the align point, causing the whole fleet to get bubbled. vov Shit Happens
Man i was feeling burnt out on eve and there's shadoo to lead literally a fucking rape fleet to get me back into shit
GOD DAMN THAT OWNED
ps +300k LP in FW umad

Is FW actually a good moneymaker? Or do the LP rewards merely recoup ship losses?
Nulli accidental forgot to make a CTA for the first HM- timer
Diablo, far more intresting
A fun fight as well for me at least. Here is what happened from my perspective:
Was in a Scimitar at first and while we were saving Drakes at the beginning, there was long period during the first skirmish when Nulli + RED were popping us before we could even lock them. The -A- bombing run was also very well executed and we lost a lot there. Once the Drakes were dropping like flies we started losing Scimitars as well. I kept getting neuted by different things and my MWD shut off and I fell behind the pack and got killed pretty fast.
We had time to bridge a reinforcement fleet back to HM and had a ton more Drakes come back into the fight. The call was made for a single squad of bombers and I joined that instead of grabbing a second Scimi or hopping in a Drake. We got two runs in near the end of the fight, the first was not so great but the second was a crazy surprise. The Nagas were warping off to the sun and so bombers landed just as they were realigning to go somewhere else. Kind of a final farewell as we got about 15 Nagas at the sun during their escape.
Again, we held the field in the end but lost a TON of Drakes to the Nulli, RED, and -A- ships - I think we only won in the end because so many people that had died were able to quickly jump into replacement ships and our fleet was back to full strength on the second bridge.
Was fun, thanks for another cool fight!
Man, that was fucking amazing. My huginn was the only one to survive the whole fight, thanks to hero logi. At one point, after the 3rd or 4th bombing run, when we pulled off field, we were down to about 15 ships and a total of 6 drakes.
ha ha look at u n3rds playing eve online
FUCK ME that fight OWNED.
It was first drake fleet I've called in PL for like 3 years because hostiles had like 130 + 30 -A- bombers and I thought if I form 100 Alpha ships -- they will just run like usual. So, drakes we formed ~100 in fleet 90 on field like usual with cynos/etc. Hostiles had ~130 loaded in system with 40 RA AC Tempests, ~30 Pangu Abaddons and ~80 NULLI Nagas. It was obviously DANGERZONE since all fleets alone can be taken by drakes, but together... well.. we were gonna get dumbstered.
In we went anyway to a SS cyno, and to our suprises hostiles chose not to engage us there at their optimals instead letting me position on AJI grid freely. Some warp dancing took place first with NULLI cowarding at snipe ranges losing 3-4 nagas to a warpin on top of them before getting out. However, RA like usual now manned up and took their AC neuting tempests to us at 0... We lost some drakes to that to start with ofc but soon RA started popping left right and centre. Pangu was next on top of us with ECM Abaddons (DA FUCK?) and NULLI finally got a good warpin at 130km. Fight continued for a while and NULLI for some reason bounced on top of us as we had gotted range on RA and Pangu -- which cost them another load of Nagas.
Now -A- bombers were in system though and their first bomb run was good with void + kinetic bombs. We lost ~dozen on first run, kept brawling RA down until they bailed. Nulli was mainly ineffective in their coward spots and got RA meatshield raped. Pangu was next with their guardians dying but by 3rd -A- bomb run we were down about ~60 drakes. But NBD, drakes own because TEST just jumped into NEW drakes and got on titan. So as Pangu lost their last T3 ship -- we bounced to regroup and cynoed in 60 Drakes back. Now RA was obviously shitting themselves and left field with Pangu docking up as well.
I guess NULLI having lost almost nothing felt great about themselves and decided to stay to 1v2 on our drakes with the -A- bomber fleet. But hey dudes -- when there's not 4 fleets vs. 1 it's a lot harder to use scrubs as your meatshield.
So as NULLI bounced to give -A- a bomb run, our drakes starburst and got a bubble on -A- bombers. They died. NULLI thinking they can do shit now 1v1 bounced on grid and got promptly warped on top of and shat. They warped to SS where Oly26 was waiting with ~6 bombers. About dozen more Nagas got dumpstered. We cynoed in supers and finished some backwater outpost no one cares about to give us another AWESOME FIGHT timer.
Thanks all for coming!~
edit: APIs are still pulling but: http://dog-net.org/brdoc/?brid=7597
Our FC was not used to FCing nagas and kept us at long range with long range ammo while RA/Pangu were in at 0 to the drakes. We killed a couple but could've killed far more if we were at our AM Optimals ~40 km with tracking speed/scan res loaded. After the first engagement RA went home because they lost a shitload of battleships and the FC derped a fleetwarp, getting the first couple of nagas killed. When he finally did consolidate the fleet they got bombed and even more nagas died. We quietlu go home with our tail between our legs and let honeybadgers RF the station with supers.

I too, cannot make sense of those Abaddon fits...
[Arrador] possesses a considerable understanding of ship configurations, strengths and weakness. He gives clear and purposeful instructions, is good at taking advantage of the fleet-composition he's dealt, and never loses sight of the main goal: fun. This, paired with an excellent tolerance for strong drink gives him an almost Churchillian capability to win, despite being completely pissed on booze most of the fleet operation.

DAFUCK indeed
If you were at 40km your fleet would've got put so squarely in the ownzone early on I can't begin to describe. Your FC was actually doing it mostly right not being in missile range; with a fleet as paper thin as that if you're in lock range, you're fucked. I honestly dont know why you thought going close is a good idea.
The entire concept relies on nagas that get primaried warping out and warping back in. We've used nagas against Goons in VFK with Elo FCing when origin was in Nulli and we absolutely dumpstered the drakes.
With the delayed DPS from drakes at 40km any naga should be fast enough to warp out, even when bubbled.
