My suggestion was to join amarr and wardec every other alliance in the amarr militia
I did that once
Slacker Industries, never forget :911:
True, I have raped history, but it has produced some beautiful offspring
Initial thoughts are this is blobwarfare lite^TM
I was promised small gang shenanigans but I can't even sit in a plex for more than 5 minutes before being o7'd by 3x my numbers, usually in faction frigates.
Granted this might be because Amarr is so bad/heavily outnumberd/losing this war, but I'll persevere.
Also having no skills sucks, I want to o7 some nerds hard, but can barely fit a trasher, much less fly it properly.
Don't expect to take on the world alone as a noob or even as a vet but always remember range is king when dealing with larger numbers in plexes. I'd suggest tag teaming with someone else and always get range and make guys entering a plex come to you. This means you get a bit of time to shoot him before his friends can show up to blob you, because warping on grid is not possible inside a plex or out side on it's gate.
Secondary suggestion, is to stay away from the blobby areas, go deep into Minmatar space and start running minors & sooner or later someone will show up to try and run you off.
Last but not least use Arti Thrashers & Faction frigs are just something you will have to deal with.. (if you are pro you learn to use a 150mm Rail Corm)
What the hell? It's like I am listening to FW players.

yeah ok

Something fishy going on here.
Oh my god this looks like fun. While I've had my part of fun in RvB, it always pissed me off that they go all pussy mode on upshipping and shit. Man, I should really get into this. Does fweddit have any restrictions on whos allowed to join?

The Western District Way is joining the Amarr Empire faction at war. Within 24 hours all enemies of the Amarr Empire faction will be enemies of The Western District Way and fighting may begin.
YEAH
BIG OLE GOD TITTIES

OK, so the trick to not getting blobbed seems to be to go deep into Minmatar space. Most of the guys back there seem to be carebears and will completely ignore you while you solo minors in a destroyer, the ones that do come in to fight you DIAF. Skills coming along slowly, so I'm sucking less every few hours.
Hey can a tengu get into majors or no?
I see Slicers a lot out here, seems like my kind of ship, anybody have a fit and advice?
Generally don't worry about changing ammo, most fights will be over before you get it changed.
Never not overheat the guns, you have a highslot that will most often stay empty, leave that space between your guns, burn them down.
Learn to bait the fight, a lot of frigates you can just try to stay at range on but one surge of an overheated MWD can bring him in range to scram you, its better if you look scared and run like a motherfucker ..only you're not running, you want THEM to buffalo charge you instead, at which point you burn them down.
The slicer has 3 or 4 viable fits, anybody who tells you THIS IS THE BEST FIT is biased (and probably retarded) find the one thats most comfortable for you (I like the fit with more tracking, some people like an active tanked one, some like the more damage fit, ect, ect).
Slicers have to run from faster frigs or dessies with Rails/Arties. They shine with Snakes or Loki bonuses but you can say that about any frig. Most short range ships that lack speed will avoid you. It is hilarious watching them get caught by Loki boosted Merlins though. OL scram, grab him @ 15km when he's a retarded and uses "orbit".
Slicers can reasonably engage and outpace most any other frigs (including Inties but not necessarily Drams). However, engage a Coercer and you'll get shit on faster than you can hit warp.
A good slicer will shit all over any of the other navy frigs.
infa 100%
Even if someone will gain speed on you, the slicer outpaces other frigs because it starts doing damage at like 20km with scorch, then when you manage to get in range, it just dials up dps with multifreq/conflag.
e: if you know a destroyer is fitting with long range weaponry, a badass slicer pilot will just orbit close where shit like that wont track well enough, of course that is incredibly risky and could end up with a ded slicer

This is what I have so far. Can't quite figure out the last low and rig. Nano and tracking rig? adaptive plating and polycarb? small rep and polycarb?
Any help/reasons why I am horribly wrong would be greatly appreciated.
Grath, you'll note that he was asking what to put into that empty low slot.
I gave him suggestions (but no i didn't know that, i actually just looked at the fit)
Yeah, thanks for the fits, but I can't really justify flying one quite yet, the character is still too green. But I'll see about getting one out in Delve to practice in on my main while the character skills up.
i cannot wait for fw
so hype

Everyone has their own opinion when it comes to Slicers. Like i have a dude in corp who does 3x nano in the lows and fucking ccc rigs and manages to kill shit.
My favorite fit is this:
Avoid: damage projection, tracking disruption, dualprop setups flown by competent people (MPL cant track shit in close AB orbit), nonshit Daredevils, faggots w/ skirmish links/snakes (so 99% of lowsec).
Promptly fit up a Slicer and went to Syndicate on an alt to test it out. Went afk (waiting for a corpmate to come in a horribly shit fit in Thorax) to grab something to drink while at a safe. Come back with a Thrasher on grid scramming me and three more landing on grid. -1 Slicer (and shitfit Thorax that deserved to fucking die). Didn't even get a chance to fly it properly :[
For the five whole seconds I got to shoot back I'd say it put a hurting on one of those thrashers, I might have even had a chance if I had gotten back 2 seconds sooner.
Saddest part is I could have just docked and avoided this whole situation.
It'll be a while before I fly one in FW.

Thinking these might actually be good for fighting retarded Arty thrashers in FW.
If you derp Gleam should save you since it gets n1 tracking bonus.
Also, avoid Sentinels like the plague.
I've noticed that G-Team uses Corm fleets to great effect; they're fast as fuck and shred up frigs from like 50km.
It's just a theorycraft alternative to arty thrasher fleets, and no they won't be able to run because they have no ehp either.
Most 280s fits go sebo in the spare mid
alot of people dont bother to look for tackle since they have already decided to win or die since small shit is fast to die and cheap
