    Dear Nulli,

I wanted to personally take this post to thank you for destroying my Scorpion. That ship has been sitting in my hangar for months, collecting dust, waiting for a chance to fly through space gloriously. With it's destruction, I received a handsome insurance payout, PLUS a wonderful little windfall of ISK via TEST reimbursement. With this fresh ISK, I'll be purchasing multiple ships, with which I shall fly in various fleets, welping in a ball of fire, and receiving even more ISK to spend on new ships to welp.

In closing Nulli, thank you for the ISK. I look forward to spending it on more ships.

TEST has this beautiful system called Reimbursement. With this system, unlucky pilots who die during a fleet receive a pre-determined payout of ISK to help cover the costs of the lost ship.

What's better is that this service is completely free! There is zero charge from the Alliance members to participate in this wonderful program, all you need is a ship to welp!

Whew, so that was pretty fun.

PL/TEST (hereafter known as Honeybadger), reinforced HM- yesterday because Nulli cowardly docked in it after being pursued by a PL fleet. Since I don't like cowards, I dropped some SBUs and we put the station in reinforced, and also hit the Neo moon in system. That moon exited reinforced tonight.

Honeybadger formed up roughly 35 Rokhs and Maelstroms, about 17 scimmitars, 6-7 huginns, and 25 rifters. Nulli was reported to be counter forming with roughly the same numbers but in maelstroms. As both sides waited for the countdown to the timer, AAA joined Nulli with strictly support ships (mostly scimmis and lachs and huginns).

To start the engagement, both sides had roughly one hundred support ships.

Being slightly outnumbered in terms of actual DPS ships, I received approval from TEST HIGH COMMAND to deploy TEST dreadnoughts onto the field of battle should they be needed.

Honeybadger forces cynoed into HM- and set up on the Neo tower, plinking it a little but not really doing too much so we would not lose cap before the fight. A Nulli falcon decloaked 30km off us but then subsequently exploded. Several minutes later, Nulli/AAA cynoed in on the station. I immediately ordered a fleetwarp to 30km on them, however we only caught one or two. Nulli/AAA warped to their pos and got setup about 10-20km from the pos shields. We fleetwarped to 50km on them and began engaging.

I used an analogy on comms after the battle that this was much like a Rocky movie, IE in the first ten minutes we sucked. Badly. Phreeze was in a Claymore and was alpha'd immediately. Target calling resumed but we were not breaking Nulli's tank, and were losing support and an occasional BS. With my alt 300km above the pos, I probed the Nulli fleet, warped at zero and opened the cyno, deploying roughly a dozen TEST dreadnoughts.

We broke three or four Nulli BS before their reps stabilized, and the next twenty or thirty minutes were mostly a circle jerk; Nulli outrepped our DPS, we outrepped theirs, and hordes of TEST rifters died gloriously. Nulli bounced several times but we were unable to pin them.

Several TEST and PL pilots took over target calling and began organizing an alpha strike countdown, which began to take a toll on the enemy BS, albeit slowly. They would save two out of every three of our primaries. I began focusing on finding a way to pin Nulli down.

Nulli warped out again once or twice, and we began to bridge more TEST reinforcements. This would ultimately turn the numbers tide in our favor.

Nulli arrived again on grid, and I burned at them in an Onyx, with scimitars following me and having me locked up. Nulli fleet primaried me again, but was unable to break me with my with bubble down. I may have gotten a couple of our BS killed by co-opting our scimmis

I parked my Onyx at zero on their battleship blob. Perhaps due to increasing losses (still sustained very slowly and trading mostly equal with us) or perhaps due to my presence, Nulli fleetwarped and I bubbled up.

I caught one dude. I am terrible.

We rewarped to a 200km perch on the tower with dreads and the support fleet, and warped back to the tower and began sieging it. Nulli warped back in and the longest action of the battle began. For roughly thirty minutes, Nulli and Honeybadger traded blows, with my Onyx merrily following their fleet at 0km the whole time. TEST target callers were calling excellent alpha countdowns (a tactic of which I have little experience with and must learn quickly), and Nulli was now significantly outnumbered in BS. Eventually they were forced off grid.

This time my bubble caught a vulture, a sabre, and an ibis. I have improved.

The next ten to fifteen minutes were a cat and mouse game to try and catch Nulli escaping from system. Eventually they warped to an AJI perch, bounced to another perch, and had a hero sabre bubble us. They were then able to escape.

The Neo moon was destroyed, and retowered.

I have not looked at Nulli killboard, but my best guess is that Honeybadger, with capital support, inflicted moderately more BS losses on the enemy than received, with Nulli killing a significant amount of Honeybadger support.

It was a good fight, although I was still very rusty and doing alot of dumb things toward the start of the engagement.

Good fight Nulli. More to come.

I think the final tally had both sides trade dead even on BS losses, 19 maels lost for like 10 maels and 9 rokhs killed or something, someone had a BR doc link. We were surprised as fuck with all of the dreads that we were tanking as well as we did, and we were very careful to position our rewarps very well, we had one really bad rewarp put us at about 35k from the dreads. That was where we lost most of our maelstroms. Great fight though.

    EDIT: Found it http://dog-net.org/brdoc/?brid=7576

The dread locktime made it so we could only get on tertiaries. So we ended up picking our own targets. I blapped a drake all by my self! \o/

Also nulli's range meant we were doing 1/3 of our total damage to the maels. But when we coordinated dread targets, we were able to break reps.

Considering that a majority of nulli's 'extra kills' are new TEST heroes in rifters and blackbirds it was a trade-off

So, coming home from the lake to find out we had a POS coming out of RF in roughly an hour, I formed up an alphafleet to go engage a PL/pet fleet that was reported at 120 strong, fairly heavy on the Rokh/maelstroms, with 20 tracking dread support. PL+pets bridged into HM to break our neodynium backbone, lead by Phreeze.

Realising we were going to be outnumbered, with hostile capship support on standby, I called for my cyno pilot to light roughly 50km from the Rokhs. Cyno pilot happened to forget he actually needed to be in my fleet to bridge, so we had a hero frig cyno undock from the station and pop it. Bridging in on station less than 1 AU from the PL fleet, we began aligning towards the POS, with a warpin provided soon after. Took the fleet warp to the POS, saw PL cross-warping to our cyno. Landed on the pos, called an align point, and waited for PL to rewarp on us. The PL fleet soon landed roughly 30km from us, lit cyno, and dropped tracking dreads. Taking Phreeze down as our first primary for this blatant faggotry, we started burning to range, trading battleships at roughly an even pace with PL. Once we had pulled too much range to effectively alpha targets, we took our first warp out, realigned to the PL cyno, and rewarped in at a ping 40-50 from their BS's, but this time 60-70km from their capships. Called new align, broadcast targets, get some dumbass on channel command screaming that we've lost 5 battleships(in the 30sec we're on field, 1 actual death). Told him to shut the fuck up and actually *look* at the wrecks, continued broadcasting. Still maintaining a steady rate of kills/losses, trading BS's and having the 50 retard ships in my fleet continue clearing tackle. Rewarp a few more times, continuing this process.

At this point Phreeze has his alt on field in a HIC, and starts burning to our fleet on every warpin. Killed a few/lost a few on the next few warps, as people either weren't aligned, or managed to get tackled. Eventually our modest ~40 maelstroms was worn down to around 20, and we were unable to alpha any more targets from range. PL smelling blood, sent their tackle in close on us. We started freefiring tackle, and bailed to our last ping. PL fleet probed us just as we rewarped to another spot, managed to bubble themselves as we warped out, and headed home.

Some time in the fight we called for a warpin specifically to kill Richter, alphaing his Rokh and broadcasting his pod, followed by warping out. -A- dudes didn't approve, but they just don't understand. I'm still waiting for my fanfest ticket

All in all was a hellova fun fight. Props to the logi team for keeping us in the fight as long as they did, and props to our cov ops pilots for giving us damn good warpins.

As cheap and expendable as they are, those dictors and light tackle make re-positioning very difficult for an alpha fleet. Luckily, we had a strong recon team that fought them off each time, so the dreads couldn't damage us as much as they could have. It was a good brawl, Phreeze's BR is on point on what happened.

As one of those dreads, it went like this. Phreeze said get reps on me, he died, he yelled for the cyno to be lit, tracking dreads came in. Where your order of events came from, I'll never know...

I knew the dreads were on standby to come in. His faggotry was having 20 tracking dreads ready for an even fight, so I tried to even the playing field by taking out the only known enemy FC.

In all fairness those were test dreads. That was the nonexistent "Test Dread Fleet" and I'm pretty proud that we're using our capitals unlike some *cough*goonswarm*cough* alliances.

10 Titans DOomsdaying our dreads isn't much of a cap fight.

EDIT: and before you say, then just drop yours, we don't get the supers we need on an unplanned ping like PL does with their retardedly high super count. So it still wouldnt be much of a cap fight.

I do love the hearsay that we have 30 titans and 50SC's ready to go at any time on every op.

Far from me thinking you have anything like that on standby, but you can't fool me into believeing you can't ping IRC and get 5 or more titans to come DD and blow up some dreads.

Insured dreads vs uninsured titans - not really a fight, particularly for you nulli bros that love jerking it to isk wars

Shit nigger, your builders are better than our builders - you should be pooping dreads, plus they are easier to fly.

You know what, don't bring dreads

Hey guys, let's complain some more about our space opponents not behaving like space samurais by using certain dishonourable assets against us in battle.

Go commit seppoku about it. Faggots.

Also who the hell gives a flying fuck about ISK efficiency when guudfites could be had, if some of the alliances that we (PL+TEST) fought would have the stones to actually counterdrop us more often, they would also get more battles like the one in NOL a short time ago, where both sides escalated and we in the end barely pulled it off.

If I recall that fight in NOL correctly, our dreads were dead within 1 minute of being on the field, because titans were dropped on them before the fight had even lasted 20 seconds. Then, our surprise force of supers had to kill 40 dictors to avoid being completely destroyed before allied fleets of goons and more supers poured in.

Actually you remember these events incorrectly. Goons didn't show up until after the fight was well over. Had they not ever shown up, and had you guys not frenzyfucked tackle like you did to GTFO, you would have all died horribly without any help from da goon. I'm sorry for any misunderstanding you may have on the subject and am glad to help in any way possible.

I guess I miss-worded that. We were clearing tackle to get out of a fight we were already going to lose based on the forces on the battlefield, this is true. I was merely pointing out that more was on the way just for the sake of pointing out that even more shit was on the fucking way.

This becomes relevant when you start to think about future engagements.

I dropped dreads for the following reason:

I got killed in the first 10 seconds and was mad.

I am rusty as fuck right now and needed the extra advantage to win (or at least hold even and hold the field).

PL US TZ is horrendously bad right now and we only had ten dudes.

The only thing holding us up in US TZ is TEST being an absolute pleasure to fly with.

Anyways, don't take it personally Nulli. I know why you won't drop dreads, and I don't expect you to.

Also I spent the entire last calendar year training for every flavor of command ships, and I excitedly embarked on this op in a Claymore that promptly exploded ten seconds into the engagement.
