Nice that they are taking steps from last years tourney fixing to make sure that each group is only allowed one entry. RvB being the first.

I imagine RvB only has a single team worth of high-SP decent PVPers between the whole alliance. Isn't it a sort of entry-level PVP thing?

A lot of null-sec PvP'ers join RvB because they're "tired of the sov grind." While there, they'll usually bring along their link T3's and HG implants to make themselves feel elite by owning T1 frigs.

The auction slots won't be that competitive since 77 teams entered for a 64-team tournament, but I really hope we overbid everyone on the first slot and go for 100 billion Dr Evil style.

Also, Babylon5. and Out of Sight., while probably not known to anyone who doesn't live in the far South (Stain & surroundings), are pretty close allies (though not sure if someone told them that moving corps from one alliance to another after 5th May wasn't the brightest idea ^^ ).

Oh, believe me, I know Babylon 5.. more than anyone outside of that horrible, sacrilegious, double-dotted monstrosity. I will be following their besmirching of that lovely name with intense - and malicious - intent.

As a historical note, they lived for some time in Fountain before the TEST/NC (no dot) invasion, and it is a mark of shame and frustration for me that after beating the war drums against them for two months, and joining TEST in part for the purpose of shooting their structures, their former capital of F-88PJ was never renamed "captainktainer sends his regards." (also, the capture happened entirely with the capfleet and I never got to shoot their fucking station). After that, they moved to Delve for renting, and then ended up living nearby IEGEX space in Fountain. I cannot die happily until the stench of their perfidy has been permanently expunged from New Eden.
