Our interceptor fleet jumped into a station system with a ton of bubbles on the gate, we found a tengu playing games with a scimitar who kept jumping through the gate. Halfway through attacking the tengu the first thanatos warped into the bubbles and deployed drones but was unable to stop us from popping the tengu and his pod (and the nemesis that warped in to help, rage bombed and died), we then went to work on the drones by which time the scimitar had fucked off completely like the bitch he was.
After popping a few drones thanatos #2 warped in, we then put a bubble up off the gate and caught a rapier, dramiel and jaguar. A second drake came in to help his buddies but was terrible; unfortunately we were unable to outdps the armour reps that carrier #2 (whom had dropped triage by now) was putting on him. Five or ten minutes passed and thanatos #3 appeared, 5 minutes later #4 and the nidhoggur appeared; we spent the next half hour, (hour, hour and a half?) cycling points, surfing drones and warping in and out.
The call went out to batphone anyone with a force large enough to take down the carriers, we all frantically searched far and wide to no avail; eventually one of our pilots blew the Horn of Goondor and a force was accrued about 18 jumps out. Our hearts and minds were steeled by the news that someone was coming, we let forth our mighty battle cry (of which I forget at the moment) and continued our valiant interdiction.
Things were looking bleak as we had 5 carriers on field and no dps to take any of them down, luckily one of our pilots accidentally brought a small bubble with him and anchored it in the direction of the station before our main tackler (wheniaminspace) died; our hearts sunk at the loss untill we learned that the bubble had onlined only 10 seconds before the carriers warped to the station. With cries of "WARP TO THE STATION" to the goons now swelling in local as we warped after the carriers and continued to keep them pointed even after popping our bubble, the goon force began to land on the station and took over; our struggle was over, it was finished, the carriers were dead.
We were greeted with word that the King of Space himself sent his regards.
Also our FC was high as fuck at the time.
