So yea, need 2 semesters worth of probably 5,000 a piece. Lots of gambling debts, lets just leave it at that.

I make the grades and have the jobs(etc.) lined up to pay it off no problem.

Any older advice would be appreciated.

Look for a grant or just randomly apply for student loans anywhere you can. Most schools also have people there that you can talk to and can hook you up with financial aid if needed. This is ofc if you are in the US.

i took out a shit ton of student loans a few years ago. like 15k a year. then they got bailed out and i haven't heard shit from them and there's no record of me owing them money

Still paying back $20k worth of student loans from 7 years ago. Sad part is it's still under my fathers name so I can't even use them as a tax deduction, or help my credit.

As I said in the OP, I have no trouble with the higher education, I want extra money right now. And it's not to gamble with, I said gambling debts.

$14k a year, gets me a room and a meal plan. That's it basically, everything else they try to nickel and dime you on. (Seriously over 100 fucking dollars for a goddamn parking pass for a lot that's actually on campus and not over a mile away). Luckily I work as a student employee of my school so there are a few boss benefits I get to enjoy (like tons of free swag from the football team, entire wardrobe is basically free shit

).

But yea, school here is expensive. One of the reasons I voted for Obamanator was to get some student loan reform done. As most of you know we barely even managed to keep our loan rates at their current values
