It is well known that CFC alliances are judged on their small gang prowess and tight fleet comps by mittens himself. Our alliance fc's, the only ones that are allowed to form a pvp fleet(mining fleets are run by industry directors), are told to avoid losses at all cost. Alliances not meeting the daily quota for elite pvp lose a tech moon untill k/d ratios are within acceptable range again.
Thanks to Lorren for pointing out a few mails that hadn't made it from PL's board to Eve-kill. I had underestimated Red Alliance's capacity to lose Nyx's in silly ways. And corrected a comedy typo (sorry Vera Cruz for showing you losing 20 dreads you hadn't).

Let me say, though, that invading Delve and finding Bob castoffs crowing about their ability to wulfpax their way into the halls of eternity is really very reassuring and gives me a warm glow of memory, so thank-you for doing that for us. If you could consider occasionally sacrificing the odd Molle titan at our feet or posting that CSAAs were bulding components then that would just round things off nicely.

Rydia is confused because a substantial amount of what passes for leadership in AAA (and more than a few of their friends) involves passing each other lists of "AUTHORISED FCs" from each corp: these being the largely fictional characters whom each corp pads out their lists with in order to appear to be pvp-centric special operations squads of death providing the military backbone of the alliance, when in fact several have barely joined a fleet let alone run them since some blue-balled 12-man vaga roam through Vale back in '09.

What a lot of people don't realize, with the exception of maybe IRC and NCdot, is that we encourage everyone to lead fleets. If it gets 1.) a broadcast or 2.) had an op thread posted for it, it then becomes peacetime reimbursable. That means you can welp the fleet and people still get some money for what they lost. We put a lot of effort into training newbees not to be so precious about their ships. We hand out free rifters and thrashers so they can lead roams and die in a fire.
