So tonight had a NULLI NEO POS coming out in Delve at an ungodly hour in RUS PRIME with Nulli calling in a super CTA since someone in Black Rise had timed a PL tower to a similarly ungodly hour.

Brave ELISE unphased by the heretics called a PL formup with a TEST tackle fleet and WAFFLE bomber gang to boot to teach some manors to progod himself, only -- the numbers were low and NULLI had ~ 160 in fleet already. Thus, the decision was made to swap to brave SLOWCATs with Rifter backup with ~25 or so souls reporting for carrier duty. Thinking Nulli would run as per normal, Elise opened his cyno 70km off right in optimal of the Nulli Maelstrom heavy fleet which was protecting a dozen or so Scimmies who manned up to rep the tower. Elise counted down the cyno, lid it and off the brave carriers went with bridge for the TEST rifters going up at the same time.

Naturally, the cyno died fairly fast and Nulli FC delighted by this result of killing a cov ops cyno obviously decided to man up and stand tall with their ~180 dudes vs. ~70 PL/TEST. First carrier on grid lid a second cyno for dudes who can't seem to learn to jump fast enough with the divided fleet now all warping from random spots around the system to the cyno @ 0. Within ~2min of initial cyno -- fight was finally on with the cyno carrier taking heavy dmg -- but being saved just in time by the landing brethren. Drones now out and delegated to Elise -- NULLI Maelstroms were popping like pringles with the NULLI fleel now feeling less brave and quickly pulling range and after clearing bubbles -- warping off while leaving a dozen BS behind to die like scrubs.

But with superior range and manuverability -- the Pro God had the advantage, and decided that he will sacrifice dudes for the greater good keeping PL's 25 carriers busy while 160 -A- in Oracles kill a tower in north. Fairly sure that decision actually saved a dozen PL carriers in the end, but anyway -- a honoUrable move by the god. Fight now simmering at ~100-120 range, losses pretty much stop on both sides with only scrubs dying since no one had anything tackled. Hence Elise called it and started to extract the caps, but ofc -- PL being PL... it apparently is rather difficult to align with 25 carriers to a planet all at the same time .

Thus cat & mouse with NULLI dictors started, dozens falling victim to driveby bubbles in a valiant effort to keep two dozen PL carriers from going to "save" a tower 6 mids away from 160 -A-. And so it continued for ~20mins while Elise and now I tried to formulate plants to get a jump on the godless maelstroms. At last, we got a good warpin and got on top of them but alas... apparently we had 0 dictors left at this stage. So a half a dozen BS fall and the cat & mouse starts off again with two carriers and a single dread now tackled by brave NULLI dictor with rest of us ~100km off. Luckily one of the carrier had a cyno and dozen SCs jumped in to save the dread now under fire, but unfortunately -- it just wasn't enough and the dread fell to the Maelstrom fire just as we had a warp back in on NULLI.

TEST having now gathered a ~40 man welpcane fleet next door began to prepare warpins on top of the maelstroms, but NULLI realizing how futile sacrifising dozens of dictors to keep SCs tackled actually was -- made the call first and warped their fleet off to the gate to engage poor TEST fleet. OFC -- TEST fleet promptly performed a tactical retreat leaving NULLI behind while PL caps extracted out to KFIE.

Not feeling like rape was complete -- we called for reform with ROKHS + Maelstroms and started to put together a proper subcap fleet able to take on the ~180 NULLI still repping their tower with scimies ~2h after it came out. After a few hundred pings, the fleet started to look better with about 100 dudes in fleet with maybe 50 BS and plenty TEST tackle rifters. We tried to sort out cynos, which proved to be a ... challenge, but luckily NULLI seemed to have as much trouble warping around Delve without some scrub being tackled by a 5 man roaming frig fleet. So we got a cyno in front of them and setup on their path home.

Progod obviously feeling brave took his ~160 dudes who had kept it together and brought them on the other side of our ~120 dudes with about 2/3 of the BS numbers of our opponents. And to really kick our teeth -- they bombed us with a wave and a half of kinetic seconds before jumping in getting rid of our poor rifters . Given our reduced numbers and damage taken, I called in the cavalry of about half dozen dreads and sieged them while NULLI decloaked and started brawling. Nulli called for caps and opened cyno, and me being rusty took this for a full escalation and called for our own dozen or so SCs to come in...

Turns out NULLI only brought in one triage Chimera to help with the reps... ops: Sorry about that . The chimera died fast.

Fight raged with blows being dealt on both sides, and about ~5min after and ~30 BS lost for a less than a dozen BS kills Progod lost faith and pulled out leaving a dozen support to die a honoUrable death. Good fights were exchanged by both sides and we went on our merry way listening in on -A- comms as they giggled about +1 tech and exchanged high-fives all around ))).

TL;DR

We didnt have enough people to save our Tech Moon in the North. So we are going to blame Nulli for the loss.

While I agree with you that some maybe even most tech holding alliances can be described as such you will find it is not true for all.

Obviously cant speak for everyone but for instance NC. uses their tech to make their alliance and membership stronger. Handing out motherships and Titans to alliance members on a damn near monthly basis, covering losses which sometimes put the alliance wallet into near negative numbers and on top of it all corps all individually get their own income as well. Before you get carried away with you dont know where all the isk is going, we have a monthly accounting.

All I can say is if your in one of the OTHER alliances you may want to ask yourself, why am I here?
