The only real orders CVA has ever given in day to day actions apart from following kos rules etc. is no ratting in carriers.

At least -7- can bring some good fleets (although they need to not be so obvious when trying to bait). Haven't seen much from EE or CVA yet.

It has been an exciting week, and weekend for North Provi. Last weekend -A- brought a 120+ man gang to camp Dital gate for lols. This weekend EE WT's camped the Dital gate with anchored bubbles, then a 40 man Razor gang forced them out. Then cyno goes up and Raiden. drops a 80 man gang with 4 triage carriers on Razor, and the EE WT's join in the fun. Meanwhile, Provi residents watch from range and cloak with popcorn and brew. Now even Cascade Imminent is joining in the fun with 50man gangs roving around.

Silent Infinity blessed Providence with its surely-much-needed 56th outpost (out of 84 total systems) in the dead-end system of YQB.

Fully two-thirds of all Providence systems now contain an outpost.

For reference, all conquerable regions of 0.0 (that is, excluding NPC regions) have a total of 771 stations in 2711 systems, so 28.4% of systems contain an outpost. This is off by a *little* bit, as that calculation includes NPC constellations within regions (Pure Blind, Fountain, Delve, etc.) so the actual number of outposts and conquerable stations is closer to 750.

Doubtful any stations will become destructible. I've heard this brought up before but never saw anything substantial to indicate if it's actually coming in as a feature. Does anyone have info on this, or is it just a troll?

It's all speculation.

And by all indications, outside of Provi, outpost over-proliferation really isn't a problem - most regions are around one outpost every 3 or 4 systems.

Provi's runner-up? The glorious, Goonious, techious region of Deklein, were there currently is exactly 1 outpost for every 2 systems (34/68)

Yeah, had been busy with school/finals/papers so dropped out of the loop for a bit, not that anything really happened.

There use to be 4 systems that in provi that were over one jump away from an outpost, after YQB there are now two systems.

Aoki that depends on what your using the outpost for, outposts aren't JUST for defense. and Aze I doubt it, if they wanted to 'bait test for a gf' I doubt they would have used HED to do so, but I could be wrong.

I spotted a wild U'K member cloaky camping my ratting system (He didn't bother attacking me while I ratted for 20 min so I was disappointed). He was friendly enough in local, though.

Are U'K going back to their RP roots and going home to Provi as a policy or is this a one off? Will karn return to being the boogie man of Providence (assuming he's still playing)?

They lost their gem. space so we've seen a few pop up in kheram and do bomber roams/raids. Granted the rumor is we're being invade in june, and july, and august, by three different groups. So . . . who knows.

Grath said on shit on kugu that PL may at some point grind through Provi sov. The reason for that being that the Provi holders' willingness to negotiate with other entities isnt in any way correlated to their combat power. I believe some below-average CVA posting on eve-o might have been involved.

I'm personally unsure how i feel about that. On one hand i'm often mad at CVA/pets for having their intel network, forming up instalock camps the second my lone Slicer enters a pocket, bridge-camping small gangs in pipes, cowardly running from >10 man gangs etc. On the other hand Provi is one of the few oases of 0.0 where GFs for solo/very small gangs are not completely out of the question.

Nah, it was a RVB gang it looked like. About 90 of them going around. Spend maybe 2hours in provi before getting smartbombed.

As for U'K they're doing their usual afk-cloaky-vagas bullshit. Annoying but not very effective. Haven't seen any gangs of them myself though.

i hate my own people and thus granted a few corps/alliances in from geminate intel access knowing uk would tag along feeling like boss spies in our intel again.

since we can not really roll out and slap idiots around as we like apart from small scale roaming (partly because we really could not, partly because of NRDS and restraining ourselves to this region) we have to allow ourselves to get invaded frequently just so that dyntheos can yell at retards on mumble.

I poked Tyrus Tenebros from FHC to get a fight tonight. I've been really excited to get more than Midori in fleet with me (

), and amazingly we got a good 30-man fleet. Some tackle, 5 scimis, Arazu, and Muninns.

Swaggering like a newly-crowned King in the South, I took the fleet around Provi and HED, scoring some ganks, until CVA had enough time to form up. Our scouts reported them in mid-range armor BS, a Muninn hard-counter, and I was like, "Well shit, we've been out for 90 minutes, and we're gonna get owned." Luckily, -A- entered the fray with 12 Tengus plus support, so I reached out to CVA, seeking to team up against -A-.

Well, the first two primaries were called semi-correctly. We had a Tengu to 1/4 shield before reps stabilized and had a Scimi into structure before he warped off. I was in a Private Chat with Tyrus, and he was telling me to primary Nero in the Tengu. So, I broadcasted Neo, who was a CVA Scorpoin. xD

Once that finally got sorted, I realized that I had been keeping the armor BS in range (it was until afterwads that I learned I could've blued CVA to get them off my overview), and the Tengus were 60km out. We were at the edge of Logi range already, and CVA had given up the chase, so we made a tactical retreat to the sun. From there, we motored on back home.

I made a lot of mistakes that rendered my fleet hilariously ineffective, but it was also a great learning experience. With a few more times to practice, I'll be owning nerds with sicknasty Muninn alpha in no time*.

Just when the smug was high in p-fleet, HAX. brought 2 gangs in to take care of it.

The second was a zealot gang, for which Volition Cult formed up properly for a good fight... mad props to them!

I think VOLT was sitting on one side of the gate trying to get HAX. to jump in, while our other allies continued to leroy into them independently from the other side, effectively disabling them to drop aggression timers and jump.

I don't know what happened after because i was so busy trolling in alliance chat, but i did not see a zealot gang for a while and was really delighted to see 2!! trying to fight each other.... combined with the hilarity in intel chats ("bring moar!!!!") it really made my day.

I really like the lighthearted approach of our new residents, now if only by some dark wizardry we manage to put them in proper ships and on the same comms as well, the empire may rise again. Undocking > everything else.
