Remote sensory boosted nightmares with AT MOST 1-2 tank mods (I had 2x Ctype invulns on mine, the other nightmares only had a single A type. NMCs, and OTAs went down in just over 2 minutes, like, 2 minutes 15 seconds (they literally would stop watch time us). The frigate plexes would take us about 30 seconds longer than anything else.

We'd compete against legion fleets and other shiney fleets on a fairly regular basis without any real problem at all. The more you spent on your ship the easier this became to do. Trust that most of PL didn't believe it either until they saw the wallet tax logs.

This alone forces me to question how much of the information you provide is just anecdotal generalizations. The "Blitz Fleet" runs legions with 2 oni providiing links and I ran with them for a while after Ron got me in with them.

The best contest we had that I witnessed first hand was 14 wrecks on grid when we landed with a shiney BS fleet running 2 scimi and we still managed to win the contest. Another scenario I witnessed we landed on the gate with a nightmare fleet on it. We pretended to align out to bait them, and then when they hit the gate we followed them in. They immediately bailed on the site for another NCO in system. We finished the NCO and then warped to the NCO they were at and stole out from under them.

TL;DR - I don't believe your top 1% Nightmare fleets can contest top 1% legions in NCOs. Not that it matters anymore.

Those Gorgon Empire dudes fully moved into UW9, so you have to watch for probes in EU TZ. Hun Reloaded left a long time ago so there's basically no friendlies in the area, but the dosh is well worth it if you can handle having to masturbate the d-scan button the whole time you're running missions.

Same reason you are doing the exact same thing from the other side, maybe? Truth is both those numbers quoted are an absolute max, something only seriously dedicated people will ever achieve. The only difference was how easy one of them could be done before.

What are you talking about? I have been saying for the longest time that highsec l4s can peak at ~160m/hour where incursions peak at ~200m/hour, but the "average" (like the one he referred to for highsec l4) for both is MUCH lower and therefore the payout for the highsec incursions are no more nerfworthy than highsec l4s. Especially when you look at the isk/hour for 0.0 mission runners blitzing for LP and the fact the inflation from the incursion faucet is negligible when compared to the dreadnaught isk faucet found in 0.0 bounties going by the numbers CCP released themselves.

Thus my presented solution of throttling the incoming isk from highsec incursions by having larger gaps between the spawns for incursions when a mothership popped (creating a similar gap highsec l4s have to their income when LP store items get too saturated on the market) instead of highsec incursions being available 24/7. This would create a more "gold rush" feel to them instead of a nonstop grind for isk, but people just stuck fingers in their ears shouting "200M AN HOUR!! NERF!! NERF!!1"

If grath was running something like the following fit, it would definitely give legion fleet (especially a complacent one) a run for its money.

I just threw this together in 30 seconds, so maybe some stuff might be switched about to make it better.
When 2 nightmares pair up, the 5 remote sebos will bring the scan res to 827 with leadership buffs (2.5s on 40m sigs). This is well within range to contest with legions. Without splitting hairs talking about scan res, the difference in lock time between nightmares and legions will be 1 second or less.

The tracking rigs, while not as powerful as computers or links, are much more powerful than tracking enhancers. These rigs combined with the 37.5% tracking bonus of the nightmare itself likely make it quite capable of hitting the approaching frigs in NCOs. If it isn't enough, then you can add on a tracking link in the mix for 1-slot tanks. If at all you are still unsatisfied, 2 scimitars in fleet can spread 4 45% (or more if they faction logi up, too) tracking links across the gang. These measures may be prudent; grath says he focuses the OTAs and NMCs anyways.

I can't imagine many nightmare fleets actually fly like this, but suspend your disbelief in a nightmare gang capable of contesting legions.

well, the RSBs are on our 2 slot tank basis and tracking concerns nullified by vindis, but yeah that was the general gist of it. once you have locktime and tracking issues resolved, it was a straight up DPS race and BS always win those.

yea idgi I've never made 200m/hr running incursions (maybe came close a couple times but those were rare), more like 120ish, and I was in one of those private channel shiny hardcore groups

No, that really is too much effort.

And they didn't "shit on" much. They made the sites unblitzable and lowered the payout for VGs by 10%. People just have to figure out a new dynamic that will make SOMEONE want to farm OTA to clear the bottleneck and the ISK/hr will rise above what it is now. Making OTAs the Bubonic Plague mixed with AIDS and menstrual blood was like a domino in that regard.
