I lived in Grants Pass and Murphy for a year. I don't care what anybody says about it being "a dry heat," 100 degrees is horrific. An oven is dry heat, doesn't mean I want to live in one.

The freakiest thing is that you get drenched for 9 months, then for 3 months everything dries up so much that it catches fire.

Fire bad.

I've lived in humid areas and I have to say I personally feel a humid heat is worse, it just gets into everything and makes you feel like you took a lukewarm shower, and the showerhead is vomitting piss.
