I think the bipolar nulli reaction is because we genuinely believed the fight to be going well at the start.
When you look at eve-kill, it paints a pretty even picture of the beginning of the fight.

- At 0:51 nulli bombed honeybadger for around 8 BS.
- Between 0:53 and 0:59 each side lost like 15 BS.
- Dreads were dropped at 0:59, but to be honest I don't think they really made much of a difference.

- Then at around 1:01 progod died and S2N lost around 10BS to a well timed bombing run. Most of our losses then followed, while trying to disengage.

So was this a dumpstering? No
Are we mad? A lot of us, yes
Should we be mad? No
Is madposting a good thing? Never
Was it a good fight? Like often in EVE, that depends which side you were on.

Shadoo is known for being super active for short periods of time, then suddenly taking breaks where it seems hes completely MIA and living the good rl. He comes back for short spurts (like this). Since Elise rejoined PL he has been super active with FC'ing for a crazy amount of time. Finals week hits and it seems hes taking a short break. He starts FC'ing again after this. And thanks to grogoth you really believe you trolled out sort from his campaign and I'm 99% sure he had shit to take care of.

Nah, I'm just saying fighting against Sort is a lot different than fighting Shadoo and Elise. When Sort was leading things were much more even and we could match his capital numbers (a lot of the earlier fights had triage on both sides, aka good fights), that ended when supers came into play. Of course you can say we could escalate- and you guys are within your right to say so, but we all know how that would end. I'm not sure how many alliances could take on PL in a super brawl- I know S2N can't.

Singular alliance versus alliance the only one left around our size are NCdot, AAA, and Goons, since RAIDEN bled out so many. We're probably the only alliance in game that can get 2x times the number of supers as we can get conventionals in any given fleet when we want.

That said, we don't have all or even anywhere near all of them here, we brought the bare minimum we thought we'd need to do the job and just let the rest sit in the bat cave (I know it looks like bragging but this is like, literally 10-15% of the PL superfleet)

So even with 15% of the PL super fleet here, you could take Nulli 1v1 in a super brawl. (especially with our TZ split, USTZ is actually not our prime, we get 200+ in both timezones). A lot of sorts fleets were lead early euro tz (shitty for PL) and we were still playing around with ship comps to counter maels. You get great numbers no matter what tz (compared to PL) with a ship type that gets increasingly harder to counter as you get +1 maelstroms. Plus your forum porn wasn't ramping up yet which helped us get out of our little participation lul.

Hostile bombing runs chewed us up pretty well, lost a bunch of males to that. Then Pro died- and we had a tough time extracting. Before that, we doing OK. Blap dreads and bombers turned it into the Honey Badgers favor.

I think it's more than just a numbers on the field comparison. PL is vastly more experienced at mom/titan fleets than the majority of other alliances. That's a direct result of them using them more often and doing more with them for sure, but it's still a factor in going head to head with PL in a super brawl

1. There never has been a time in nulli where we dont take a fleet out because we cant get enough numbers, fleet goes up, theres already 100+ in the first 10minutes and thats all we need.

2. We dont primary the FC, unless your FC's are just nobodys and we dont even have a clue that were doing it.

3. We dont drop dreads because otherwise 30+ supers are in system before the dreads can even lock anything up.

4. Looking at the killboard, nulli put up a fight outnumbered and vs dreads and was winning, and the bombers were the ones who won the fight for TEST/PL
