I'm actually starting to expect that a surprisingly amount of alliance/corp leaders in eve, at least outside of CFC/HBC, are completely incapable of writing better english than what we saw in the latest round of log leaks.
As much as I'd love for them to write up their side of the story, I feel it might take an exorbitant amount of effort to make whatever wordsalad they vomit forth into something we might want to read without performing seppuku midway through, just to stop the pain.

Yeah I'm not saying there isn't, there's bound to be bias when the articles are written by people involved in the fights, if nothing else then simply because people from one side will not know every single detail about what the other side did or why. But if they managed to scrape together a few people who can write understandable English they could get their own point of view published as well, and let the readers find the middle ground. Of course the best thing would be for the reporting to be 100% free of bias from the get go, but that's just not going to happen. Heck real reporters paid with real money very rarely do that, I don't see why anyone would expect nerds playing a spaceship game to do it.
There's a difference between article bias and site bias.
Individual articles will obviously be written from the perspective of the individual who wrote them. That's not only to be expected, it's to be desired. There's certainly plenty of "perspective" in TM pieces, which the reader can and should be expected to account for.
Site bias means that you suppress certain perspectives, or edit them to suit your own. If you have a shred of evidence for this, by which I mean "actual things that really happened", rather than just "everybody knows" bullshit, then please do lay it out for us.

I wonder if writing things for TMDC just comes off as a daunting task for those who are not native English speakers or are members of master-pet coalitions where information sharing with the public (or speaking out on behalf of the coalition, however you want to spin it) is generally discouraged because these coalitions encourage third-world-style relationships with their shit-status member corporations.
Things were kind of ugly there after Benghazi but we're back in action and up to 4 publishes a day; these new writers own (Kitt JT, Pinky and Widders are superstars, among others) and we're looking for South Null dudes for HBC/SoCo reportage, which I feel is lacking. We've balanced our North Null coverage with 2x Nulli and 1x BL contrib. (Poison Kevin never got back to me on Skype, and finding literate NCdot contribs remains about as easy as finding literate -A- contribs)

News is mostly fine, but Features seems to be a messy old closet where everything gets dumped after being used (read) once or twice; pieces about planetside2 are in the category as Grath's coalitions essay, comments on the latest FW changes and the fundraiser for Vile Rat. One thing CCP needs desperately to do is erase this image that they are running back and forth at the bequest of the various player groups. They need an official statement about how they incorporate feedback and that they are the motherfucking game designers, and, therefore, know best what to do with the incorporation of player input and implementation of changes (even if they don't). This image that CCP is up for grabs to the squeakiest wheel is the ultimate source of this divisiveness, which is a poor way to run a company of any sort and in particular a company whose sucess is based on the constant updating of a product.
I think incorporating customer input like they do is revolutionary, and part of a changing paradigm of consumer/producer relations, but going too far and losing the image of professional authority doesn't benefot anyone and begs the question what you are actually doing as a company.

I did catch it, and am still raging at how they managed to completely fuck up UO with the Trammel/Felucca split.
EVE has never, in my opinion quite matched up to UO in terms of "do what you want", but it's a close second, with very few other games coming near it.
