You can't broadcast targets outside of your lock range, so damping target callers is a decent strategy.
When Sort was being sensor damped a day ago when we fought with 110 man rokhfleet against 210 -A-, he just calmly asked his second in command to broadcast targets. It worked out fine.
Eve pvp-community clearly went downhill after broadcast introduction.

apparently I need to be clearer here, you can always broadcast targets out to 100k, and if you can lock further you can broadcast to your lock range.
so damping a command ship that can't lock further then 100k is dumb, damping a tengu that can lock out to 120k is not.

Alright, BR 2: Electric Boogaloo
iHub timer for 49-U6U came out at about 0445 alongside an EXE staging tower. Formed drakes to go cover caps repping it, roughly ~100 dude in Drakefleet. Bridged out, repped structures. Eyes in 4-0 showed oracles undocking and warping around, so we stuck around for a couple minutes to see if they wanted to scrap - and they did. We brawled on the 4-0 gate inside 49-U6U and oracles died in earnest. They mostly went for tackle and squishy shit in Scorch range. I kept the fleet at about 65km the whole time while we volleyed battlecruisers one at a time. Anything of ours that broadcasted for reps was saved immediately. They fucked off to a planet and both fleets played pinging games. -A- caught my fleet as we were warping up and killed a claymore + few drakes. I thought it was gonna be over, but their dictor bubbles had caught the slow oracles and a hero rifter was in perfect range for a warpin, so round two began in earnest! They played pinging games as we melted oracles since we had no dictors, but I slipped with my positioning and they jumped on our Scimitars twice. Forturnately not much died as logistics dudes were on the fucking ball. I was primaried multiple times, but my backup fcs/target callers kept shit together when i was moving at 14m/s and jammed to dick. Drakes kept getting saved and oracles popped which continued for about 15 minutes. As they fucked back off we looted the field and they rage-reshipped to Lokis. I denied Makalu his pound of flesh and immediately went home. He got tackled by the pos as we were all loading grid into 1DH, lel.
Fight was amazingly fun! I didn't use the magical ~batphone~ and numbers were almost even. First time I got an actual FIGHT - no blueballs, no instaheadshot, no surprise structure shoot - from one of my fleets. I'd give props to -A- for sticking around so long and constantly reshipping to bring a fight, but they tossed that shit right out the fucking window with the rage-reship.
Props to all the dudes who logged in for that fight, props to the pr0 FC bootcampers who helped out, props to Montolio for coming too (even though he died because comms are 4 gaylords he'd rather jump blind) for a great end to a kickass day.

And even then I don't think I ever called him primary; just told nerds to sic drones on him.
Keres fleet is a go! That sound recording is one of the funniest things i've ever heard.
